00:25 LOL. I don't know if seasons of True Blood can be said to "wrap up" so much as set up the next WTF?!?

I was sooo mad when this originally aired

If I remember, the actress that plays looking wanted more money. But HBO would not approve an increase in budget, so they had to cut cast budget to pay her more money.

I definitely saw Sookie's decision coming after Gran told her to not be afraid of being alone. When Tara walked in on Jesus, my first thought was to wonder if Antonia could come back and help since she's a necromancer, right? And then I cracked myself up by saying, "Maybe she has to wait 3 days to resurrect Jesus," and I could barely focus on the next few scenes. 😂😂😂 I don't think that warning was about Terry...he said something about people around him. So maybe it was about his old war buddy...I didn't catch his name, so I'm just gonna call him Jake cause that was his name in Scandal. 😂 I was thinking maybe he was also a spirit since we met him on Halloween, but then they didn't go into that storyline any more this episode...so I guess Jake's a real person. 😂 I really need them to reverse some of these situations in the first 10 minutes of S5 E01. Lol. Not the last thing Sookie did though; we can keep that where it is.

Amber, I'd thought with your adoration of the Vampirs, you'd watch movies like, "The Lost Boys" released today on Friday, 31 July 1987, (Tonight's Friday Film of the Evening here at Hill 30), or take in anime like The Mighty Nein/Vampire Hunter D on Amazon or this classic take on the Lycan species, Dog Soldiers. Now, if you want a violent and I mean fucking BRUTAL take on vampires, watch 30 Days of Night, a great adaptation of Steve Niles and Ben Templesmith's 3 issue mini graphic novel set. Another noir film you'd dig is Sin City, the amazing adaptation of the graphic novel by Frank Miller (Writer and creator of the DC Dark Knight series). And if you want a Tarantino/Clooney team up, I highly suggest From Duck Til Dawn (stars the GRAWRGEOUS Thelma Hayek! (Desperado (Oooh, you dig that movie too. Stars a young Antonio Banderas as "The Mariachi" (and Kevin Smith's Dogma). And those, dear Rockpunzel, black must be worn and the Sonic Saturday theme should be, Type O Negative (Cinnamon Girl), HIM (Killing Lonliness), and In This Moment (Whore) which is fitting for the film theme just described. As they say in the old days, "We shall see, we shall see!" Have a kick ass weekend! SGT Rock PS: After the kids go back to school, you rock the end of month streams or is that on hiatus? We miss talkin' to you, Rockpunzel. - SR

I don't know what's more unlucky. Sookie's kitchen or the back of Merlottes 🥴...

The only thing I remember regarding seasons 5, 6, & 7 are the seemingly never-ending storylines. I think my only complaint about this series is that the writers didn't understand that there's such a thing as too much suspense. However, even though you're already through most of Season 5 by the time I'm just finishing this episode, I don't want to give away any spoilers. Some of these storylines are simply dragged on far too long, while not enough attention is paid to the storylines that viewers actually enjoy. Then again, I've just spent the past five days binge watching all of these reactions up to this point (taking advantage of some time off work to do so), and so it does get a little frustrating and obnoxious by doing that. I do think, with as much as you are enjoying this series, that you'd enjoy the series Lucifer even more, once you have wrapped this series up! Lucifer is every bit as good, without the twenty episodes too long storylines. And can I just say that (by this point in the series) ALL of these characters are thoroughly deficient in "good judgment!" I mean, almost every one of these storylines are due to someone's completely stupid decision; which then gets almost everyone killed, over and over and over again. If I lived in that town, I'd become a celibate hermit with an underground bunker. Seriously!
