I couldn’t say. I’ve not seen the movie yet. I only say I was disappointed because I’ve been requesting Life(2017) for well over a year. Thought this was it. One day, I’ll figure out how requested movies or TV series get chosen. 😆

Black movie Tour going real well 💯💯🙏🏾.. since your kinda got a couple movie lanes you can go after watching life. Continue the Bernie Mac tour with The Players Club 1998 with an all star cast that includes Jamie Foxx& Ice Cube and Charlie Murphy… Or continue to Duo of Eddie& Martin with the Romantic Comedy of Boomerang 1992 with another all star cast that feature Halle Berry A bunch of classics to darken up that black card amber lol

Oh, so many have requested Boomerang since the channel began. 😆 Hopefully, one day soon. Also love Eartha Kitt, and Grace Jones in that movie!

That was a fun movie with a great cast. I was also duped initially thinking 'this is how they're ending it??' before the final reveal. Hoppin' Bob reminds me of a milder version of Stephen, Samuel L.'s character from Django Unchained 🤣 The scene where they guy (the superintendant?) was holding up the baby trying to find the baby daddy reminded me of one of those cut scenes from Family Guy where the cops would hold up an "OK/not OK" skin tone chart to drivers they'd pull over! 🤣 Another great (there are many!) Martin Lawrence comedy was Welcome Home Roscoe Jenkins (2008) which also has Mike Epps, Cedric the Entertainer and Michael Clarke Duncan! Also Black Knight (2001)...but again, SO many choices!

Oh come on, let's be honest, not all of Eddie Murphy's movies were gems. Norbit, come on, that was a terrible movie. Nutty Professor was terrible and Dr. Doolittle BOMBED, at the box office. Eddie is a legend in the stand up game, and his early career was fire, but later on in his career (the movies you mentioned) he was a check collector. If Amber wants a great show to watch is to watch his 2025 documentary on Netlflix, "Being Eddie". Absolutely compelling watch.

Great movie! Boomerang is a must to watch! Starring Eddie, Martin, David Allen Greer, Halle Berry and Chris Rock! One of the few Black Romantic Comedies.

I remember bits and pieces of this, seen it when it came out.. but I was 9 then so watching it again with you was like a first time watch. I was way to young to understand anything from this. The blooper at the end had me rolling! "Hey.. this ain't my Daddy's watch!" 😂😂😂
