I can't help but hear the parody of this song called "I can only count to four" by Psychostick

Patt SanKings

A couple of years ago, I was invited to go to a private & roof top concert, without knowing the band that was performing!! To my surprise & shock, it was Drowning Pool‼️ Seeing them perform this particular song live was ecstatic, crowd went wild🤘😎

Hi Amber. Can I make a request for a band named Plush. They are a all female rock band. I recommend a song called Left behind

Jordan Reid

Crossfade- No Giving Up You won’t regret it 🔥

GaryKrome

Amber if you are looking for a heavy song check out Korn " insane" that is pretty heavy and catchy

Peter Wyatt

Ah, this is the YouTube poop song. Lol.

Daniel Johnston

I think did my time is another good KoRn song.

Daniel Johnston

Speaking of early 2000s rock and metal, I think it’s far overdue for you to get in some more Breaking Benjamin.

So the story behind this song..is it was released in like 2000. It was super popular, super super popular. Then 9/11 happened and it got canceled because of how everything unfolded that day. Between the people that jumped to their deaths and the people that were in there when the floors started falling... it just felt insensitive to play this song. So radio station stopped playing it for a long time. 🤘

Girl you want a song that's heavy and therapeutic in the most primal way possible listen to 'Primal Scream' by Motley Crue. It's from a period where the guys were getting sober and trying to confront their demons so they were in therapy and this was the result.

Glad to say I got to see DP live before Dave's passing. Dimebag Darrel gave Dave his stage name, "Stage" by the way he commanded a crowd from the stage. After Dave passed, they brought on John "Gong" Jones, and they had a song used in The Punisher (Step Up-https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Co5n2RVbWM0), oh, you're gonna dig that music video, then Jones got fired and they brought in Shawn Combs from SOiL who really does a great job as DP's frontman carrying on the torch and memorializing Dave. Check out this tune: Drowning Pool - Feel Like I Do : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DHnpGL5GT9I We've done triple shots on SGT Rock's Headbangers Ball and when we do Drowning Pool, we get to choose from 3 vocalists and show how great this band really is. Well, I can honestly say, Rockpunzel, we can get your Metal Case Logic filled with great mix tapes. Metalheads, sound off so she knows who you are! We've got your six, darlin.

SGT Rock's Headbangers Ball

Great band. Singer is reminiscent of Ann Wilson. Great voice, pure power! just like Drain STH out of Sweden. All chick band and brings the hammer to the speakers. Good call!

SGT Rock's Headbangers Ball

Can never go wrong with Crossfade. Have you seen their official video for Drown You Out? It's great, I was at that show when it was recorded for my friend's birthday.

Jordan Reid

Haven’t seen the video but I have the song in my phone, I bet that show was legendary 😂🔥

She reacted to Cold. Would you say it was a good call for the Concept Trilogy from their career resurgence album, Ember. Ben came back with a vengeance on that record! I'd sent her a DM through IG that I thought, it would be a great idea to do a triple shot of Breaking Benjamin with: 1. Red Cold River 2. Torn in Two 3. Tourniquet SGT Rock

Daniel Johnston

The Ember Trilogy is a great call. But there are so many BB songs that I know she’d love that it’s impossible to list them all.

SGT Rock's Headbangers Ball

Here ya go Rockpunzel, here's a track listing from one of our shows (SGT Rock's Headbangers Ball Episode 154: "A Kid, A Houseboat and the Endless Summer...". We have to play the rock/metal DJ mentality, "I gotta play for everyone, not just one." We're always up for requests too, killer. You have a song you want played, send it to IG DMs. We'll get your request up on the show right quick! -------------------------- Praise-Sevendust So Damn Cool-Ugly Kid Joe Fade Away-Diecast Anger-LA Downset Pound for Pound-Pro Pain-Headbanger Request The Unknown-Shadows Fall Morons-Freak Kitchen I Don’t Believe in Love-Queensrÿche Justice Will Be Done-Flat Black Feed Me Fear-The Oklahoma Kid -------------------------- Passing of the Torch Double Shot (This is where we take a band that did the original and pit it against a band that covered their song) If you watched The Twilight Zone, you'll recognize both episodes in their music videos *Blue Corner-Inside Out-Anthrax (John Bush Era) *Red Corner-Inside Out-Mammothor -------------------------- Vote With a Bullet-Corrosion of Conformity Wading Through Darkness-Flotsam and Jetsam-Headbanger Request As I Am-Dream Theater (Live At Budokan) Just wait until you hear this perfection Lay it Down-Ratt Masked Jackal-Coroner Though and Through-Life of Agony (The band that saved my life. You want to do a full album playthrough? Do it with LOA's 1993 Debut Record, River Runs Red. Considered one of the absolute best debut albums of all time.) Rebel Kids-Madball Hey Rockpunzel, even if you don't react to these songs, yeah, this is a heavy day, run day, leg day workout Mix Tape! SGT Rock

Well damn! Talk about feelin' the music! 🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻 There will be much more knowledgeable metal lovers chiming in with great suggestions for you. I'm gonna go ahead and offer two metal tourist recommendations. Five Finger Death Punch: Ivan Moody has an objectively beautiful singing voice and powerful guttural scream. Dethklok: awesome and awesomely hilarious fictional death metal band.
