“Why doesn’t she have her powers here?” Kryptonians get their power from the “yellow” sun. She wad on a planet with a “red” sun. She went there intentionally. Because she can’t get drunk on a yellow sun planet because of her powers, she can only get drunk on a planet with a red (or presumably any other color besides yellow) sun

I saw it in the theatres and I thought it was fun. It didn't do well, but I have a sneaky suspicion that this will be one of those movies that becomes a cult classic.

For a movie that did so terrible in the box office, this wasn’t that bad. I can name like 6 MCU movies that are 10x worse. This was alright. A little boring and a little try-hard in some areas but not the worst thing I’ve seen as far as superhero movies go

Crazy to think they shelved the planned Lobo movie that would have started Mamoa, but they rebooted the entire universe and still had him as Lobo (just isn’t planned to be in future DCU plans)

Hancock. native to Earth and all its effects. Kara Zor-el, only on a planet with a red sun and Wolverine's mutant healing ability normally doesn't allow it. It also protects him from the cigars he smokes.

Her home planet of Krypton had a red sun. Saying it makes her normal also would make her feel at home. In the comics, Kara Zor-el was older and sent to protect her baby cousin Kal-el when Krypton was destroyed, but her pod was knocked off course and she was trapped in the Phantom Zone where time doesn't pass normally. She emerged after 24 years to find that her cousin had grown up.

Superman: Man of Tomorrow, scheduled for a 2027 release, will include Supergirl. We will have the opportunity to see them together on the big screen. Hopefully audiences will embrace her in her second theatrical appearance. Fingers crossed.
