The Current State of Comic Drake (Patreon)

Hello everyone!

I need to take a second to explain my current situation, but the most important thing needs to be said up front: If you would like a refund for this month, send me a DM. The usual Patreon Book Club episode will be coming out, but it looks like there might not be other September videos.

As you might have heard, I got a new job in the comic industry with a well known company.

Many of you have heard of it.

It's not related to AI.

It's not a comic publisher.

I'm in a position to empower creator-owned projects.

I can't talk about it yet until we make the formal announcement, which might be in January.

Regardless, the new gig has naturally been taking up a lot of time while we prep for the launch. At the same time, I'm moving into a new studio space for Comic Drake since my home office needs to be used for my new job and getting the studio set up for recording is causing further delays.

I have multiple videos in the works, but they're taking a bit longer than anticipated while I find a balance between working my new full-time job and content creation, which is also a full-time job. I'm extremely lucky to be working with some great co-writers and co-editors to help keep things moving, but for the foreseeable future, essentially all of the money generated by the Comic Drake channel is going to be reinvested in the freelancers who are allowing me to keep the channel running.

My goal is to eventually be a month or two ahead on content so that you guys can get early access to videos AND I'm not having to crunch myself or my staff.

Again, I'm sorry I don't have more information, but stuff IS coming and Comic Drake is NOT ending! More news soon. :)
