Hey guys,

I've been a little radio silent lately and there are a multitude of reasons for that.  Some I can talk about and some I can't.  However, some big stuff is happening and let me fill you in on the state of the channel thus far.

So I've had a couple of weeks on the channel where no content went up.  That's actually not because I didn't have content ready, but rather it was because both delayed videos were sponsored and the brands in the video needed extra drafts complete, but took their sweet time getting back to me.  It's a big frustrating since previous sponsors were never like this, but then I got two different ones dragging their feet back to back.  The good news is that the channel REALLY needed the money and because of the delays, I am a bit ahead on content.

Because I am ahead, I've been able to better catch up on comics leading to more of my backburner scripts getting more fleshed out.  Not to mention that this finally gives me a bit of time to bring back the fan favorite Comic Panel Podcast.  In fact, I just bought some new things for the show and we'll be recording the comeback episode this Wednesday!

On the business end, I am switching MCNs to Channel Frederator, the studio behind such shows as Bravest Warriors and Bee & Puppycat.  They have some GREAT ideas for the channel going forward and I've even been doing separate work from them entirely.  In fact, while I was in New York for a con appearance, I used it as an opportunity to take some meetings with them and they're interested in greenlighting some new shows I've been playing around with.  So there's a good possibility that you'll be seeing even more Drake work on YouTube!

There's other things I am not at liberty to discuss right now, but let me just say that there is going to be a video somewhat soon that isn't comic related and is going to be depressingly serious.  I've been going through a bit of a rough patch in my personal life, but the support from you guys have been invaluable.  I definitely want you guys to understand just how much I appreciate your support, financial and otherwise.  It really means a lot that you guys love the content I put out there that I put my heart and soul into. <3
