My Friend, Ronnie "Oni" Edwards (Patreon)

A close friend and former co-worker of mine, Ronnie "Oni" Edwards, has passed away via suicide. I can't stress how hard it's been to be silent about this over the past week, but out of respect for his family's privacy, we kept things on a need to know basis.

Ronjamin (my personal nickname for him) was a great friend. Sure he was a nihilist, but he was a great listener. When I was going through some dark times, he was there for me and provided invaluable insight. He never really wanted to talk about himself much and I figured he would open up more when he was comfortable. However, I regret not pushing and making it more clear that I wanted to be there in the same capacity that he was for me.

He was an incredibly talented guy. His video editing is still hands down some of the best on YouTube and his skills of critical thinking and analyzing led to the creation of one of my favorite shows on the platform, Digressing and Sidequesting.
