Eve's design + antler sculpt (Patreon)

The purple sketch is from 2020, Eve's first design! Back then her working title was Vim, and while she had a classic flower/bloom motif, she also had that overgrowth going on. She also had more antlers and heads. But it would've been hell to draw that over and over again so I had to put her through the simplifying machine.

But I did love the overgrowth aspect of her design so I scrapped the flowers and went with it. The shoulder antlers were a design note I had to hammer down early because of page 130 where the gods' silhouettes are shown. I tried to make them believeable by placing them so the shoulders could have mobility but... she's a god she can do whatever she wants. I knew she'd be red because it was always her color, but the final color design was slapped on the comic pages and not tested elsewhere. I remember trying some cyan for the root of her antlers.

The pages I've drawn of her have her extra fawn legs hanging lifelessly because I was a void of imagination at that point, but I think they're very much alive and move on their own. She's also forever pregnant (she's rounder on the pages) because creator of life hello!! Of course her design includes having babies inside her tummy.

Anyway I've been so happy to see you like her design! I like looking at it too.
