So Eve is pursuing her own sinister plans… Is she perhaps enjoying the chaos that Antaras has unleashed upon the world? She seemed almost happy when Usma left her father... I wonder what role Helevise would have played if she were still alive… Antaras seemed to need her knowledge—perhaps to exert more control over Eve? I think he is very aware that she is testing his limits. Intriguing.

ohhh MAN. This makes me think back-- Eve didn't have a choice, but she does here. I wonder if her plan is to just wait to make him suffer as long as possible-- its not like he can die at this moment, unless he's killed, and the gods have all the time in the world... this is so sad 😭

Usma is wise, and I think she's right. I don't think Eve plans to deliver, at least.....not in the way Antaras wants. I like the other therories speculating on the fawn head embued upon Eve, perking to life at the mention of this fawn. It makes me think this fawn is going to end up being Eve's spawn, not Ouida and Antaras', or at the very least half-deity. That, or Eve couple simply choose to carry the fawn forever and toy with Antaras until he slowly shrivels to death, similar to what we saw with the old stag Iralee showed mercy on by killing him with the poison flower.

I believe eve is having fun with the drama she's apart of, she could very well plan not to deliver or to simply delay it as long as she desires because again What else is she gunna do? She seems to be constantly testing antaras resolve and having fun tormenting him reminding him this is all his fault, eve I imagined would have some idea of her limited presence having an effect on the world Eve is giving out psychological torment as a lil treat for herself Eve doesn't even have to try Antaras is doing all the heavy lifting on fucking things up I wonder how they met helvese

I’ve been wondering what Antaras meant during his tree stabbing tantrum, when he asked Even when she was making good on her promise. Makes sense now! Typically, deer pregnancies last around half a year to 7ish months. I wonder how long it’s been for Eve. I’m just guessing, but if the snow storm incident was in spring, and then it was spring again at the gathering, it would have been over a year so far, no?

Now I understand why he threw the tantrum. He wanted to know when the fawn was due. Eve’s holding the fawn hostage to torment him for as long as he is alive. Is she turning the fawn into an abomination?

Well.. Eve did say she would *carry* it until SHE was done. She didn't say she would carry it until delivery.. And during Antaras' tantrum, she told him that "Your child moves within me. Alive. Yet you ask for more?" I feel like she's deliberately chosen her words..
