I see Antaras originally cried when he hugged Ouida. I like that, but I also think it was fine to remove it, it was just as effective to have him silently hug her.

I love the words of “Oudia softened soon” was changed to “Oudia embraced it”, because in my mind she subconsciously adopted Usma the second she saw that precious baby peeking out at her from the gore But the thought amuses me that both Antares and Oudia originally tried to resist Usma while they presumably tried to see if she had a herd and family she could go back to…and failing miserably Oudia: *looking at Usma from a distance longingly* I want to keep her, heart….
