Poor Runi, she really internalizes a lot. She seems to have a tendency to have a lot of private thoughts and worries which are rarely outwardly shared. Hopefully Nero can get her to talk about it and alleviate that pressure off her mind at least a little bit. <3

Well I also don't think she's scared of Bones. After the mouth knew they aren't hunting their pups like the others, they treat them well and Runi understand why they killed the others. She empathized with them, also defends Bones when Nero was rude with him

i agree with you! i dont think shes scared of boneslav either, but i was reading her demeanor as loss/longing before this page rather than her being scared

I think she might be scared Bones doesn't come back to his family. She might be fearful of ripping him from his family or guilty. She saw how loved he is and knows what horrors his pack has gone through at the "hand" of grasslanders like her.

I think she's realizing the gravity of the situation. Finding War is one thing, convincing War to join them to do what's right is another. If Boneslav has a heart condition there is a chance he could not make it back home to his loving family. I think she's realizing what a sacrifice his family is making for the greater good because losing Boneslav would devastate them. Her family and Kasko's family couldn't care less. They pretty much said, "Lol BYE!" without so much as a backward glance.
