I really like this comic. It's such a different vibe and a neat interlude from Golden Shrike. I enjoy the detail of the speech bubble line blocking the Man face, very nice touch

I think he is, yes, but I suspect it's in the way that someone might be harsh when they're trying to get the point across to someone they do indeed care about. And maybe he thinks he truly wouldn't mourn her, but in all reality, he would, even if it's with a tinge of pity or "god damnit you were stupid"
