Not to cause drama or bandwagon...but I agree. I would also like some clarification on the leftist comments, and at minimum a mention regarding Palestine - if Ethan Klein is too much of a discussion. This is a real life topic that is causing people their lives. I personally do not want to interact with and support people who feel that the Palestinian people aren't being genocided, or they think that said genocide doesn't require vocal anti-Israel support. At the moment, not knowing their stance makes me feel very icky, and I would not want to unsubscribe from patreon and youtube over something that is most likely a misunderstanding. Edit for those misunderstanding: if monetary support is expected and wanted (which is why they opened a patreon) then an explanation is owed to continue receiving said monetary support. just FYI, when you are supporting someone monetarilly, you are owed some sort of explanation, especially if there were comments made that unnecesarily disparage you and your views. The girlies themselves are quite left leaning, even if they do not state outright; at least that is the impression I've gotten from their regular commentary. when compared to silence re:Palestine, it easy to see why some of us feel uneasy. I know Ethan is ruthless and his fan base is crazy but considering how much Jessi promoted H3 and openly liked Ethan in the past I think the very least they could do is say that they don’t support them anymore. I didn’t even know Ethan Klein existed until I started watching this podcast from the beginning last year. Because of how positively Jessi spoke about H3, I started watching their content. I didn’t stick around for long because Oct 7th happened shortly after but it sickens me to know I gave them even a penny of adsense money.

@ Mary S, I see what you mean, but I also understand not many are equipped to be making any personal statements regarding a very complicated situation. Just like you I've noticed they fall on the more compassionate side. I've also noticed they haven't brought up Ethan in a looong time, likely because of the same reason many of us have stopped watching. I don't know, I rather people not talk about this topic when they don't even know what they're talking about. I don't even fully understand it myself. I do think they’ve made their general political stance quite clear, but there are a lot of so-called left-leaning people who do not have the stance on Palestine that you might expect. I think that’s why the H3 thing has blown up in this community more than other political issue, because Jessi has been so vocal in her support for H3 in the past and it all ties in. I’ve never actually commented on anything here I feel like, I use this Patreon for the bonus episodes and clips and to support the pod. Polls like this gives us that aren’t comfortable engaging in public forums and chats a chance for our voice to be heard. To listen to the only 240 comments here, over the 2700 votes placed on the poll just feels wrong in some way. It isn’t a big deal, and covering Ash Trevino isn’t of course anything of importance….I just feel as if listening to those that have no problem commenting their wants or don’t wants, over a poll asking us what we want to see is very discouraging 😭😭

So what is your source for your information? I have viewed content from all the people involved and formed my own opinions. I can tell you haven’t done the same nor do you know about the topic. Ethan’s video is a good summary of his POV and his issues with Hassan. Yes, Ethan is pro-Israel and has also said he is pro a two-state solution. I hold the same opinion and if you disagree, then that is your opinion. But saying he is “crashing out” isn’t very mature and says a lot about your biases.

While I am fascinated by Ash and how a human being with kids can do such genuinely evil things... this is the first instance for me that I said FULL STOP no more Ash cuz I've watched DWKT/Lily and Jessi for years!!! I don't think people are trying to bully anyone. It seems like a lot of members are upset because we were offered a vote and it was thrown out. I often vote for things on tic toc because I don't have it. I'm not comfortable downloading an app that's owned or controlled by the CCP.
