I think the ressources issue with AI is generally valid, but kind of in the vein of what Lily said, it's interesting that no one ever cared about resources with everything else we do online. I'm not saying I full on support AI, but realistically, the ball is rolling, I don't think we're gonna stop it anymore.

My husband and I have discussed the AI situation at length, and our assessment is that within our lifetimes there will be HUGE numbers of AI TV, movies, books, etc. that will be AMAZING. And human actors/artists will begin to have to sell their products/abilities specifically as “human produced.” “Human produced” content will then be at a premium, and only those who are wealthy enough will be able to participate, much like how sustainable fashion/high quality fashion is cost-prohibitive, so people turn to Shein. We are already in a dystopia but it could get so much worse

Thanks for the post I definitely needed this today ! Personally I use AI sometimes to ask it to write me stories for fun or entertainment purposes, but I'd never to have claimed to have written them or be an author and try to make money off of them like what lmao I think AI can be dangerous if In the wrong hands or used excessively
