We first covered her after her content about getting married to her first boyfriend went viral and now that they're married, they have just welcomed their first child. Let's just say, the birth process and their choices throughout have been controversial to say the least.

I was raised in the LDS church (no longer attend). The church itself takes no stance on modern medicine vs. natural but there is definitely a large subculture of crunchy/holistic approaches to medicine. Unfortunately the only two friends (one now downgraded to acquaintances and the other I consider a full on ex friend) I made as an adult in that church ended up down the crunchy path. Fortunately, I was raised in a congregation in south east Minnesota full of doctors, nurses and engineers who understood how science works so I wasn’t as likely to end up down that rabbit hole.

Woof this was a painful one to listen to because I'm just in shock that someone would take so many risks with their health. I'm really glad she is healthy and so is the baby. Hopefully she sees a doctor and gets on the right track. Pregnancy is so insanely dangerous I can't imagine taking those risks phewww my medical anxiety could never
