Omg you look amazing!!! Have you done a deep dive into what products you use, what facials and stuff you get done, etc??

Nicole

This is INCREDIBLE!!! Did you ever figure out what caused the hyperpigmentation/melasma?

m

Shiny

you look wonderful, lilly! so happy for you 🩵

TheyCallMeTiffany

did she do any procedures? I have been trying to figure how she got such amazing results!! I have really bad 30 year old acne scars and now wrinkles of a 48 year old. I just want to feel good about myself even if it is at the last part of my life. Ive been to estheticians but I always feel like they're just looking to make money and nothing has helped so far. Lilly looks so lovely! id love to know what products she has used and what else she has done!! she's always been beautiful but the change is just incredible

Andrew Giglio

I believe she's mentioned it's some form of laser treatment. The little protective goggles seem to indicate that as well.

Literally 🧡 Just 🤍 Jay 🩷

If she doesn't respond, she did mention and share one of these photos on a recent video on Jocelyn's channel. She may have mentioned the procedure there - I can't recall ATM.

Kiki

Lily! This is amazing! I have melasma and it really does KILL your confidence. That and you have to wear make up to feel normal.

Kiki

Can we get the deets on the treatment?

Vincent

That's stunning progress! Gorgeous. So happy for you ❤️ Episode 294 & 295 is where Lily discussed her first laser treatment I think.

Alicia

I love that treatment too!

P BM

That's amazing! Beautiful results Lily!

TheyCallMeTiffany

Thank you :) I’m hoping that someday I can afford to do the laser treatments. I’ve wanted it all my life. I’ve always hated to look at myself

user_1

i have such strong upper lip melasma but as a brown woman i think lazers would make it worse (or so i hear) man id kill to get these results

user_1

would love a video deep dive of products and treatments!

Rae6666

Babe…48 is NOT the last part of your life.

Elizabeth Melanson

My assumption would be Pico and Halo lasers. But could also be BroadBand Light laser and chemical peels. Or a combination.

Chenoa

Wow, stunning! So glad this treatment worked for you. Can imagine how much of a confidence boost this is for you.

M@

So happy for you girl

Erin

So happy for you Lily!

Andrew Giglio

I'm 46 and boy do I understand that sentiment.

natalia morales

This is so awesome!!! Good for you lily!!!! I’ve also been dealing with my hyperpigmentation this past year and it’s changed me completely

Jennifer Morrow

Both Lily's are beautiful, but I do believe you achieved your desired results. 🩷🩷 You should do an episode on what you have tried, what didn't work, what kind of worked, and what combination of things ultimately got you here.

Amy

I have the same hyperpigmentation and would love to know how you got these results!

Cinnabuns75

Holy shit! That’s a dramatic difference! Your skin is glowing now

Amanda Baril

So happy that this is working for you Lily!!! You look wonderful!!

Do We Know Them?

1. last part of your life is crazy lmao so the main things i get done are: 2. PiQo laser sessions (same laser that is also used to remove tattoos because it targets darker pigments; but a lot of people get it to treat hyperpigmentation, sunspots, age spots, freckles, etc.). it doesn't hurt (just some zaps but it's so quick and doesn't hurt after so just it's super easy. and even better is that there's basically no downtime aside from maaaaybe a little redness right after but that doesn't even really happen to me and you can put on makeup immediately after without any issues. unfortunately the results aren't necessarily guaranteed / the amount of sessions totally varies per person. some people respond better than others - unfortunately melasma is a bit of a wildcard and can get better and then get worse again due to a bunch of factors so it's not exactly like you get it done and everything is gone forever unfortunately. for acne scars i'm not sure this would be the one they'd suggest but i'm sure there's multiple options - i would just do research ahead of time because different offices have different lasers available and prices are also all over the place depending on where you go. (also be careful who you go to because just because they technically are allowed to operate a laser - doesn't necessarily mean they're well versed in how they work which is crucial so they can come up with the best treatment plan is and what settings to use for what skin. mine is a board certified dermatologist whos also a cosmetic surgeon who specializes with lasers. 3. consistent skincare routine and topical treatments are also crucial and play a big role too. - I obviously start with a cleanser - Then sometimes i exfoliate w/ the Dr. Melaxin Peel Shot Exfoliating White Rice Ampoule - She's also been having me use 2 different Hydroquinone products (one at night one in the morning) which are topical prescription skin lighteners that stop your skin from producing melanin. - Tretinoin is another one i typically use at night mixed with the hydroquinone - Moisturizer of course - OR Sometimes if my skin is super dry i actually use beef tallow which i know was a whole tiktok trend but it really does work wonders. - i am now religiously wearing sunscreen and reapplying throughout the day (which i never used to do) bc with melasma especially, it has a tendency to come back with sun exposure and event just heat. (she told me i'm not allowed to go in any saunas). 4. and lastly, i've gotten 2 chemical peels. which are a nightmare and torture for me specifically because i'm a huge picker and want to just peel it all off but they usually are done peeling in 4-5 days so its not the end of the world. 5. i also just got sculptra a couple weeks ago - which is an injection that then helps your skin rebuild collagen - but you're supposed to get it done a couple times spaced atleast a month apart and it takes around 6 months to really see results since it's literally getting your body to literally rebuild natural collagen. ngl that one was pretty painful and leaves your cheeks sore and swollen for a few days. annnnnd thank you for coming to my ted talk lmfao hopefully that gives you a good picture of everything

Do We Know Them?

the only explanation that really makes sense was that it was due to my chronic pain/back issues - it specifically popped up after i had started to experience these really bad flare ups when my neck or an a rib would slip out of place and it would give me like full body sweats and make my body freak out and even make my skin sensitive/hurt until i could get it back in place or if i just laid down. i guess the adrenaline and cortisol spikes along with just the general heightened cortisol from stress and dealing with chronic pain for such an extended period of time can fuck with your hormones which can in turn fuck with your skin, weight, etc.

Do We Know Them?

im not sure honestly but this maybe isn't a good one just because it does target the pigment but i definitely think there are other options out there! just search best laser treatments for melasma on darker skin adn i'm sure there'll be some lists of good options! and always look at the before and afters!

Lisy🩷

Wow amazing!🤩

Cynister Feelings

Omg!! That is a night and day difference!! You are beautiful in both! Your skin is so much healthier in the after shot!! I hope you continue to get the results you want!!!

Andrew Giglio

I'm glad I'm not alone in finding "before" Lily beautiful.

Lesley

I have a rib that pops out if Iean over sideways in my chair at work. Sadly, I forget a few times a year because Im jn the middle if teaching and need to plug in an hdmi cord, or pick up something I dropped. But, holy hell it hurts like a son of bitch each and every. And then it throws my lower back into spasms. I had a sacral fracture about 10 years ago due ti chemo , and it wasn't diagnosed for almost a month. Never healed right. That first year I swear I aged about 5+ years at a minimum. It's crazy how chronic pain can mess up everything else in your body too. I'd like to have some treatment on my own dark spots and uneven skin tone, but I need to be less broke first. even more that that though- I need to stop popping my rib out because it makes my life miserable for a good month each time!
