I am experiencing the same issue as lily when it comes to the dating. I think I’ve kind da given up on the dating sites altogether at this point

Do a less frills version for YouTube and the extended version for Patreon. I feel like the YouTube audience isn’t going to appreciate the visuals and montages the same way because most people are listeners first with some watching in between. Do all the bonus editing for the people paying to see it.

Regarding the award show: maybe y’all can have a cut off date earlier than you did last time! I remember last year, there was a last minute decision to include that douche photographer (?) guy, and that seemed to mess up a lot. I mean, the Oscars have a deadline 3 months before their show. It would only make sense for y’all to do something similar 🤷🏻‍♀️ maybe mid-end October? That way you have time to get all the votes in.

Re: the award show, what if it was your favorite things and not ours? It would be fun to look back on your favorites. I think some people don’t understand the questions and the answers aren’t always the best anyways.

Ok legitimately I had a dream last night that someone was asking which dating platform to use and asked for a strong argument for it. I said eharmony and I'm married. Lol but seriously it was a more pleasant experience for me because 1) you have to pay so randoms don't just join all the time and 2) I believe the compatibility quiz really helped. You can filter out by things like wanting kids or not and religion so you won't have to sift through so many that don't work for you. Hope this helps! 💕

My opinion on the award show : -yes I wanna see one I loved it 🥲🤣 -keep here only for Patreon girlies, I think that’ll relieve some stress -post the polls as early as you want, do Nov 1st if u want 🤣 -don’t give us a upload date ! Just post it randomly whenever it’s done! -maybe dont include so many categories, i dont want you stressing so bad over it ! -lastly, us patreon girlies are very understanding. I think this is a great idea. I would also suggest yall limit the nominees to 5 per category and base the nominees on which videos had the most engagement. That way the analytics do most of the work for you and you don’t have to sift through suggestions. Alternatively, you could create a list of all the videos/segments that would fit in a category and ask people to pick their top 5 and ask people to time stamp their favorite moments from the segment. That would probably make it easier for editing and you know exactly what the majority of the audience wants to see. Obviously you can’t please everyone, but it would cut down on the complaints since you’re working from audience feedback. I think following an Oscar’s schedule would be a perfect time line. A list of contestants in each category released mid January. Voting opened for a week or 2, nominations released early to mid February, and the awards show in march.

Maybe for the award show you could post polls every 3 months to gather data or have a cut off a month or two before so that you have plenty of time

If Lily still wants to do the award show. Just do the polling and don’t give info as to how/when the awards will announced. I think most of us well functioning adults don’t care when it’s late but I get that there’s is a lot of people acting like you’re delaying the cure to cancer or something. Also, I don’t follow the Ash drama so I would not hate an update. I’m not about to go search it myself and then have her keep popping up on my FYP 😅

This may have already been suggested, or it may not even be possible to execute… but what if you set out the polls before you went on your two-week vacation? Then you can create it whenever you choose, and you won’t have to hear the complain-bots (as much) because you’ll be enjoying your vacation. Either way, I’ve been here since Episode 1, when the YouTube algorithm fed me properly and served Episode 1 to me when it was uploaded. I’ll be honest, I hadn’t known of you two prior to that. Now I’m over here about to buy a damn hat. 😂 Lol. Love y’all, girlies! Thanks for keeping me in the loop over the years! ❤️

What if the award show was actually just in the beginning/middle of the year? Like how the academy awards are? It would still only be the previous year’s content, but then that gives you 3+ months to edit and you don’t have to worry about it being at such a busy time of the year. Allegedly in my opinion.

My thoughts on the award show - why does it have to be right after the new year? To me it almost makes more sense for it to be in February. Wait until the entire year is done. Doing it in previous years format, it’s too hard to include December‘s topics. This way we get to vote on every topic of the year. That gives Lily the time off and ready for the project. Don’t give us a date that you’re premiering it. It just be a bonus episode of whatever week it is finished.

i hate to give ash any kind of benefit of the doubt, but as someone who's lost ~70lbs from being on a glp1 for the last 4 years -- i don't think she's faking that. i'm perpetually cold in my house & am constantly sitting under a heated blanket + using my rechargable hand warmers, lmao. happy to have been here from the relative beginning & support ya'll with whatever you choose to share. thank you lily for considering bringing back the awards show, i've always appreciated the work you put into editing :')

I feel like Youtubers usually post year end favorite videos for all of January.. if you were just like “hey it’ll be here sometime in January” I feel like that would be fine. I don’t think just posting on Patreon is a good answer because the Patreon comments were wild too last time 🥴🥴

Yall I love the award show, and genuinely cannot believe how crazy people went last year so I think most of us completely understand not wanting to do one! Howeverrrr if you chose to do one (literally whenever it came out) I would be thrilled! I swear some people just ruin everything, and I always really enjoyed the award shows. AND Lily really kills it with the editing and everything like I totally understand why it would take so long to edit!

Not going to lie but I’m so jealous how much Jessie travels for vacation! Every video she talks about vacation. I’m a single mom and my 13 year old daughter has sports every night and games on the weekends because she on the elite teams. So travel now when your children are young!

I see a lot of good ideas how changing the award show. (Only on Patreon. Just your thoughts and not actually polled. Doing it at a different time of the year.) I actually love that episode. I do get how awful people were to you about it. I honestly think 99% of us were fine with whenever you put it up. There’s a very small group of your audience who are entitled and miserable. My guess is that they are younger and can’t relate to people having very busy lives. I see them on Reddit and am baffled how much energy they put into being negative. I know it’s hard to ignore them but they aren’t worth your time. It’s your show and you can do whatever you want that works for you. Bitter people like them always find something to bitch about no matter what. The majority of us like you just the way you are. 🩷🩷
