pretty sure I got clapped by the opening smh

Comments

ShaquanVirse

ROSHI WE WARNED YALL ABOUT THE SPOILERS!!!!

Krype

Man why they get married so quick feels rushed

Thev2g

Bro me too that opening clapped me with spoilers

luckywizard

yeah but tbf people are spoiling in the comment sections too so they would've gotten clapped regardless

DatKid_Kaneki

cause honestly the marriage arc isnt that important tbh the anime gets crazy. later on you’ll understand

Seibahhh

MT episodes feel like 5 mins every week truly the goat isekai

Omar Bautista

Lupa: Damn Rudy has grown up alot since the begging *Learns about the BloodStain* 0_0

Helpy

But how is it even rushed? Most of S2 has been about their relationship developing anyway.

Fernando Perez

LMAO Roshi outta pocket 💀 “Yeah Sylphie so what if I like smashed your grandma?” Bro is about to be his wife’s uncle’s dad

Kelven_140

Why did you guys watched the OP... didn't people warned you about it?

Jamaal Ellison

Uhhhh, did anyone else see Rudy write niggas @1:41?! 🤣

HIM
>>135281724

They stay away from comment sections for shows they truly DON'T want to be spoiled on. Roshi will probably never check the comments for this show, accept on rare occasions (like with Invincible and the whole Cecil is a hologram thing)

Daniel Borrego

you know you're trash as a knight when you lose against a wizard fighting with swords :D

Daniel Borrego

theres a lot to cover every episode. they gotta really compress and skip stuff. thats why season 1 was a bit better for that. they used the opening as a way to tell some of the story too. now they just have a normal opening so they lose a minute and a half of story telling time every episode. thats one full episode of time by the end of the cour

Zero _

i knew i wasnt the only one seeing that

HawaiinHercules

it took 14 episodes to get here what are you talking about

Cory

We really did, didn't we, that's on him for not skipping lmao

Cory

The Greyrat is wearing a Grey Rat pelt robe. Nice

Panda

OP slipping with the reader easter eggs being too on the nose.

NovaVortex

MT has been like... Season 2 part 1: I can't get no... Season 2 part 2: Satisfaction

Sylisen E.

I hope Roshi didn't catch what I think he did...

Madema

We did it guys, we tricked Lupa into watching a romance anime! Speaking of, his brain imploded at 7:40 Anyway, funny you mentioned Julie's pajamas. Originally Rudeus & Sylphie wanted people to come in their school uniforms, as the people attending were of different status, like royalty and more towards "commoner". They had to buy Julie an uniform as she didn't have one. Julie had taste tested when they practiced making chips and went to grab some from Nanahoshi, to her confusion. Sylphie also specifically asked Nanahoshi "But you come from another world. What do you mean (that you're from the same place)?" in the source. Rudeus decided to leave how to respond to Nanahoshi, but thought it'd be difficult to explain and was a bit worried how she'd take it, plus he doesn't exactly like how he was, charitably speaking. Nanahoshi said the same as here, and Rudeus went "welp ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ I guess that's that for now?" LMAOOO at "who put it on her?" at the end

Ginger Dwarf

Roshi said "Yo can Rudy have sex with his wives grandmother?" He wild for that

Sylisen E.

We can see that Roshi rewatch Dune part 1 recently "DO YOU WIELD ?!!" from Paul VS Jamis XD

Cory

Yo, what you think he caught? Is it Paul stuff or something else?

wavyesper

Roshi, YEAHH!???????????????😃😃😃😃

SirFappington

well rudy is probably an advanced swordsmen and has future sight.

Ger3g

Lupa would not be happy if he found out how much they left out from the light novel in this season lol

Wash2015

Yo went i first watched this episode i said the same thing

Sauceless

Uff im glad I read the novel so I didn’t get spoiled this time

JJ_loves_日本

I feel like y’all should just skip the openings and just react to the song itself without the anime spoilers in the background if you want.

Tiz00all

As a LN reader I can tell you they are skipping lots of details, but I understand since they have a schedule to follow. Anyway this serie is amazing and can’t wait when they’ll adapt the later arcs. (TURNING POINT 4!!)

Alexander S

That was fr so outta pocket lmao

Alexander S

I completely agree, but the opening isn't giving like crazy spoilers. A lot of stuff you could assume would happen, and some stuff that was mentioned in the previous seasons that we would get some events with at some point.

Sylisen E.

yeah I think it's Paul stuff, the timing is perfectly aligned

Modiveram

Rudy has had more sword fighting teachers than magic teachers.

Dj_Cve

Nah bruh, turning point 4 gonna be crazy when it gets adapted, I just wonder if we're gonna get an OVA or a movie for a certain berserk swordswoman or it's gonna be regular episodes

Hi How are ya

Man U niggas just can’t help but talk about spoilers and eluding to shit

HaruhiDream

This is still season 2, though. It was just split into two cours like with season 1.

Merfhew

@HIM - I believe the OP spoiler warnings were posted under yesterday's schedule post. Roshi tends to read comments posted there.

Zay C.

1:40 is wild ngl

Daniel Borrego

Rudy had no battle aura. Imagine a martial artist beating goku but with zero ki

Daniel Borrego

Its one of those things where if you dont know you might not notice

Huemon_Nottabear

As a manga reader, I actually dropped this series during the months long, "Who is Fitz?" arc. Glad someone talked me into picking it back up at about this point.

Lock in

They left barely anything out who cares lol

Francisco

I've watched the OP and I still don't know what's the spoiler but I don't try to get it either so I guess that's why.

Syuri

it means nothing without context the only things that are openly spoiled is "oh look this character" and "oh cool fight" like bro people over react of course theres other spoilers but you arent gonna notice as an anime only

ZandyBoi

went back just to see, yeah you right, would've been so funny if they saw that shit xD

William kimura

he has futuresight... and he's been equalling trained in Magic and Swordsmanship, probably from equally if not more advanced teachers compared to Luka.

Jeff

Given I'm someone in the know, I can't well gauge how someone who isn't would perceive the OP. But like... A lot aren't even subtle. Pretty sure I know which one Roshi picked up on and like... that really didn't need to be there. Is it a huge deal? No not really, it'll be a good season regardless. But it's still lightly disrespectful. And stands out more because the show used to be SO GOOD in regards to OP's. I don't think its unfair to lament a little over that comparative loss.

NiTESkYKu_28

Lupa different “No’s” lmao

Igby

During the skipped renovation Rudy had them make a high quality modern style bath, usually something only royalty would have in this world. Nanahoshi wants to use it because its something closer to home.

Arima Kana

Got hard whenever I heard Judy say grand master

DocGreen

It was stated in the novel that Rudy didn't have to use his demon eye and Luke was just that trash plus he had magical tools

Tabbs

In the manga and light novel there was more detail to this. Rudy was actually terrified to fight him but ended up easily outclassing him because of the much stronger opponents he’s fought before

Mubarez Ahmad

Getting upset at OP spoilers in 2024 is crazy. We all should have learned by now that the Japanese don't give a fuck about spoiling in their intros or with promo material. They consider it a hype generator, remember before the DBS Broly Movie came out and they spoiled that Gogeta Blue would make an appearance and even show parts of the fight. That shit was hype. Don't try to read too much into "spoiler" stuff that you wouldn't understand regardless and enjoy the ride

SakaBozo

Mf got a 15 bd house 😭

Dezmond Broadway

I'm glad they don't read this comments. You can't be sad he saw spoilers in the Op then literally hint at spoilers he might have seen. I finished the novels but sheesh hinting is spoiling 🤦🏿‍♂️

MGC

thought i'd add some context from the light novel. rudeus turned that room into a bath, and baths like that are practically nonexistent in that world. even sylphie was baffled by it the first time it was introduced in the novel

Emmanuel

Roshi's proposition had me cacking tf up 😭

E

Remeber, he wears rat pelt as a Greyrat

Sum1s0mewhere

Ngl I thought when nanahoshi showed up, orsted would also be there lmao but the Intro did anime only people dirty

Vayne

ROSHI UR SO SMART. i caught the exact moment roshi put together the spoiler cause i said the same thing when i watched it and man that just got my hyped lol

bark

Why they put the founding titan in the OP

Arc

Some details about the Luke duel. Rudeus was afraid in the beginning and even used Foresight but the moment Luke engaged he immediately imagined Eris, Ruijerd and Orsted and thought the following: "He shows potential but compared to what I've been fighting, he's far too slow..."

AuxOx

this is some straight up nonsense. There are PLENTY of shows that do not spoil the events of the season. And what do you mean people wont understand? They literally straight up showed Zenith trapped in crystal with everyone fighting to release her, do you lack eyeballs? because that would be the only way to not be spoiled by whats going to come. Also people who knows what's going to happen don't need a freaking anime opening to convince them to be excited to watch the show, they are going to watch it regardless.

Aniki Pft

Genuine spoilers in anime openings in 2024 is fucking insane lmao. It's one thing for subtle hinting which is clearly enough, but this does the opposite of a "hype generator". JJKs' season 2 opening is my biggest example for how clever hinting is must more satisfying than just blatantly throwing shit in my face behind music. Leave that spoilers in openings shit in the past with the other lame ass tropes that don't chime nowadays, it's boring as hell for those who know and don't of what happens next. And comparing anime openings to trailers is different, some people want to hear and see unique openings. You could literally ignore the DBS Broly movie trailers. If the movie had a opening showing majority of the fight and them fusing I promise it would've been a problem.

Lsg_Lani

nah rudy is tuff. to be such a high skilled silent mage and be nasty with the sword is wild. hopefully we get to see him use sword fighting more in the future.

Mubarez Ahmad

First of all, calm down. Second of all, I did not catch Zenith being stuck in a crystal because I don't really watch openings like that. And even if you catch that spoiler, you have absolutely no context as an anime only. Yeah she got caught but how and why is much more interesting in my opinion.I treat OPs like a teaser for the Anime. I agree that it can be done more subtle like JJK. If you've seen the entire second season of jjk you realize how many spoilers it actually has but it's hidden in plain site and with no context. And my main point was that still complaining about spoilery OPs is silly because it's gonna keep happening, and seeing people make that surprised Pikachu face every time gets old. Just expect it and deal with it accordingly. Might suck for a lot of people but that's just how it is

Mr. Stuffer

Roshi is over here setting up the Greyrat family circle.

Raider

Sheera extra 😂 12:25

Arkan Matlub

Lupa with that face for the entire 8:05 till 8:19 is so hilarious bro

BornUnMotivated

No way dude just said “well several men have put it on her but that’s neither here nor there” I’m fucking dead xD

GigaDirt

It's been in the op lol

Koifull

welp I guess I just got spoiled lol

AbstractDread

Nah, they did a poor job of conveying his inner thoughts this season. In the LN he states that he's pretty basic and Luke is below average , which is true cause when we see the actual sword users and fighters later on we'll see that both of them can't compare. Remember Rujerd was a spear user but managed to teach Eris beyond a sword saint, close to a sword king. Plus if you recall Paul is a sword saint and not king because he stopped training but Luke can't hold a candle to him, even Rudy has to use his magic and strong ones at that to beat him.

Bossman15blaze

Yo the Sherragan can see multiple years into the future. And Roshi, yall need to skip that op because it’s mad spoilers

OceanPhantom

Rudy making the soiled spot a shrine is mad crazy I don’t even know what to say 😭

Ghost_Dog97

it even shows past where the manga is right now lmao

kuroihana

"So many plot threads... Alabama" It might seem crazy what I'm boutta say...

Kavry

i was thinking the same thing, they really had no morals in that time period lmaooo

Krype

I took fitz and sylphie as different people they acted different. Like he thought she was a man up until the end? Idk just don’t feel the connection jumping to marriage is like why?

Clinton the Bingethinker

I’m with Lupa on his reaction to Roshi saying that Rudy cut out the bloody part of the sheet and put it in the shrine box with Roxy’s panties 🫥 Like, what if Sylphie opens it up lol

Clinton the Bingethinker

Speaking of the lack of closure with Eris…what if they run into each other and she has a kid with her, and it’s Rudy’s 👀 And there’s also Roxy and the labyrinth foreshadow…I feel like when Rudy sees Roxy again, after all this time of not seeing her, some shit might go down.

ERRORCODE616

Watching this after the father's day episode...it's fucking wild how packed with spoilers the intro is.

Arkan Matlub

I wonder what spoiler he caught

thatNEET_

This has to be the worst opening I've ever seen. Granted, I'd already read the LN when I first saw it, but wtf made them think that was acceptable?

thatNEET_

Keeping "that" from the bed sheets isn't really serial killer tendencies, but it's certainly weird. Serial killers are more likely to destroy things than to cherish them. As a matter of fact, it is strange, but I can't even think of a legitimate reason why "that" is unhealthy mentally. Sure, it's similar to stalker tendencies, but Sylphie is his wife.

thatNEET_

22:55 That is the most vile thing I've heard Roshi say 24:33 "Well, several men have put it on her, but that's neither here nor there." LMAO! They haven't said how Elainelise got cursed.

_monjiro

After reading the LN (I got like 3 volumes left), 4:31 is a CRAZY call outta nowhere
