People... if you can afford it, please buy the blu-rays!!!! IPs like Konosuba generally take longer to set up a new anime season for because it's origin is a light novel. Mangas already do a lot of the work for the anime where as light novels require storyboarding from the studio to a much greater extent. Despite the fact that Konosuba is actually really popular and has an active fanbase for like ~10 years, it took us almost a decade for season 3. The best way to motivate a studio, is to literally buy the blu-rays. Buying the light novel obviously helps, but to motivate another season, the blu-rays are significantly more impactful. There are a lot more facctors involved here but for now i'll leave it at this.

All this because Megumin blew up that guys castle everyday, and Kazuma was willing to carry her. Which caused Darkness to get cursed, then immediately cured. But then Megumin continued blowing it up with Aqua carrying her. And then Aqua flooded the city, because Kazuma stole Mitsurugi’s sword so he couldn’t be there to one shot the general. The crazy thing is, this debt was literally all their fault, except for Darkness’s!

The main issue wasn’t from the destroyer, it was from flooding the town to kill the guy that Megumin pissed off. That’s what cost the majority of the Dustiness’s money. Also, the town wasn’t harmed by the destroyer, it was the other areas that the destroyer walked through to get to the town, and the town would have been walked through too if they hadn’t stopped it.

So fun fact, despite almost everyone in Konosuba agreeing that Aqua is extremely beautiful, nobody is able to get excited by her. Perhaps it's just her divine nature or perhaps people just intuitively sense a problem with her personality, regardless, people don't find her arousing. Also, Aqua has shown repeatedly now her nack for magic tricks. They are not skills the way Steal or Explosion are. Nobody, not even Aqua herself, understands how they work. And for referrence (because you're never gonna see one unless they animate a chapter they skipped back in season 1) a Rookie Slayer is a large black saber tooth-like beast that has a history of killing rookies who think they are ready to move up from goblins and giant frogs.
