I believe AFO realizes the threat of her quirk which is why he chose to target her first. The heroes thought maybe she could do some real damage to his mask n looks like he just confirmed it. He trynna take her out quick so he keep the mask n last longer in the fight

Jirou is my favorite female student in Class 1-A. I was hyped when she and Tokoyami pulled up on AFO in the manga. That being said, when her jack got blown off, I was so upset. Seeing it here in the anime this episode upset me all over again, but the fact that the very last scene of the episode focused on her left jack (the one that got blown off) was so disrespectful. 😭

i get what ur saying but i dont think resistance would be much of a factor because the attack was basically to cool dabi and the surrounding area down as much as possible. And shoto is resistant to ice but he can still freeze and so i assume shoto was trying to do what happens to him to touya. So not an attack to actually physically hurt him but i think just getting punched in the gut by an ice/fire punch knocked his ass out. But i definitely see where youre coming from and u still might be cooking ngl.

Unfortunately, that's not true. Dabi didn't inherit his mother's ice abilities, that was the whole reason Endeavor wanted to pair with his wife. He was hoping that her ice powers would cancel out the heat fatigue issue. That didn't happen until Todoroki, all of the other children either didn't show enough promise or didn't have the necessary power.

When you're a self centered person everything tends to revolve around you (not you, but people in general). So, when you think of it that way, AFO and MUZAN would naturally want to continue "forever" because anything else is confronting a fear, their own mortality and their ego. Death is their greatest fear, so they do literally anything to avoid it. I suspect that's why AFO hates All Might so much, cause All Might nearly packed him up - even when he was in his prime.
