As much as I like John Cena I coulda done without his character. Also why all these random mega celebrities in small roles? Part of what made the first season so great was he largely unknown cast. I still think the show is great, but I feel like the show is kinda becoming too much of a fan of itself.

I think some of the best characters and performances come from some big names too, namely Jamie Lee Curtis, Bob Odenkirk, and Olivia Colman. Even the asshole chef we keep getting flashbacks to is Jeff from Community lol, it all depends on the role and how well it's written into the story. The problem is that John Cena just can't really stop trying to be the center of attention whenever he's on screen.

Her restaurant did extremely well. I think that one guy that worked there said they have a waiting list of 5000 on average. They are closing just because she doesn't want to do it anymore. I'd say she should just sell it or give it to someone she trusts but I can understand why she doesn't.

Oliver Platt was one of the MVP's of this season with his expanded role. Funny that I remember this dude wrestling Diamond Dallas Page in Ready to Rumble, and now he's acting opposite to John "Fak-ing" Cena.... I mean, my main complaint is everyone's unwillingness to confront Carmy. To fully confront him on his mental shit. They all see it, they all know it, and yet they're just walking on eggshells around him. I'm sure they're setting him up for a breaking point, again, but him this season really affected the cohesion of the team. But that's my perspective on it.
