Just to clarify golem don't have thoughts, nerves or even brains. They're soulless puppets. The last 1% Marcille was talking about isn't the fertilizer, it's ashes from human bodies. That's what those white dolls that animate golems were made of.

The thinking behind the monster physiology and ecosystems takes a lot of planning and knowledge. The mangaka must have researched a lot into actual animal anatomy as well as mythical creatures

they just casually massacring them because they can just be revived (in the last episode, laois mention his first death therefore you can just die in the dungeon and someone else can revive you if you're lucky enough tho)

To add to this, the reason why they are eating so much food from the dungeon is because they are broke after their last failed expedition, and do not want to waste time gathering food/funds from the surface before going after the Red Dragon. The majority of adventurers do not eat monsters; they bring food with them from the surface into the dungeon as rations.

Loved this episode, Senshi had me hollering when he was just shaking the fence screaming "BREAD, BREAD, BREAD!"- I also really love how caring he is. When he said he wouldn't leave them because he didn't want them to die of malnutrition- all I will say is ❤️. Love Senshi! Just a big ol sweet bear!

Nah, the first episode and first chapter of the manga clearly state it is not normal to be eating monsters. Marcille even said only criminals who can't go above ground resort to eating monsters, and that they get food poisoning all the time.

The inter-racial dynamics of this world are what makes the show interesting as well. Laios' party happens to have 4 different races: Tall man (Laios-basically humans of this world), Half-foot (Chilchuck-who we'll get to learn more about), Elf (Marcille-hence her animosity towards the orcs), and Dwarf (Senshi-so he's prejudiced against magic and elves lol)

I think it can be common in some rural areas around the world. Like in England in London, that shit isn't gonna slide, but when I was in the countryside near Suffolk, people were selling eggs and pumpkins off their farms in this sort of way. It's cool
