Are you guys going to react to the new season of Cobra Kai?

Rubin

Oh shoot so early. I hope everyone is having a Good Friday and will have a good weekend.

ROUGEWOLF17

Love the character designs in this show changing it up but keeping it close to the original, just miss my girl Milly 😭

WorldWideLove2000

At the end of the episode when the doctor said that in that moment Vash "manifested" something, I think he was referring to when Vash heard the high pitch sound from Zazie as he controlled the worm, since it wasn't normal for humans to hear it. (And yes, I edited my original comment because I was informed that Zazie is a "he" not a "she". I got clapped 😂

WorldWideLove2000

This episode is one of my favorites. Wolfwood instantly became one of my fav anime characters. I know the spinning was extra, but bro had it handled so I'm not mad at him showing off LOL. It was epic!

Ashes2Ash

WOLFWOODDD!!!! TriStamp does a good job of actually showing off plot points earlier compared to the original (Knives didnt appear until pretty much the very end of the original outside of flashbacks, Wolfwood's whole thing was kinda.... poorly done as well despite him appearing early in the original, ect). Keeping spoilers out of my comments until you three finish the season, excited to see your opinions on future episodes! I believe 6 is the one im most excited about.

Lea Garrido

Yesss zaddy Wolfwood appears! Loved the design of the crossgun, he's always been one of my fave characters!

Will you guys try reacting to the original Trigun after you finish this one?

Skebaba

Why did she think he wouldn't have come here with or without Vash, tho? They literally SAW HIM YOINK BOTH OF THEIR PLANTS, did they not??? Especially since for days now the radio has been blasting about a huge string of Plant robberies etc (hence why Vash has the bounty to begin with, because he's the culprit from witness accounts)

Bria A.

WOLFWOOD MY BELOVED. Zazie the Beast my other, feral beloved.

But he specifically tracked Vash there. Every person that showed up to mess up that town showed up specifically looking for Vash the Stampede.

Skebaba

...Not rly? E.G the Mine literally went for the Plant (it even showed his objective w/ navigator HUD icons), and Knives came there for BOTH of the Plants, hence why the doctor & loli arrived w/ the car that can fit 2 Plants at least. He would have clapped all of them anyway if they didn't fuck off & give him the Plants when he comes collecting, with or without Vash being there, simple as

I’m ngl, I got ep 5 and 4 mixed up. So I was expecting this reaction to be another emotional one, and instead I got wolfwood😅. Granted Wolfwood is sick af in this one, but Rollo is super emotional and important

The thing that flows

Loving the reboot. Although I miss the line in the original when they found Wolfwood, "That is one heck of a well prepared dead guy".

Isaac

Zazie is ambiguous by design but is indeed a confirmed boy.

WorldWideLove2000

One more thing I gotta mention... I just love how Wolfwood drank the holy water. Like bro... you do realize that's HOLY WATER right??? 🤣 Also, I just realized that while he was spinning the gun around, the Lazer was building up, so I guess he just wanted to keep it looking epic while waiting for it to load. Mans knew what he was doing 😅

K Jack

somewhere in these dunes Aang is looking for Appa and Maud'dib riding a big ass worm

Brandon Acevedo

But Roshi, it's the spinning that gives the cross it's flare.

Dakhran

In the old anime, Zazie was a boy, but that was actually a change from the manga. Proper pronouns would probably be they/them, but the reasons for that would be a spoiler.

Well you're all about half right. Knives and the group (except EG) were coming to rob the plants regardless, but they destroyed the city and tortured them all, once they knew Vash was there, based off the resonance between Vash and Knives when near each other. EG as he said, was just crazy and wanted to go on a murder spree, which is why he tried stealing the plant, to kill them all (he steals to kill, not kills to steal). If he ended up succeeding then he would've given it to knives, but it wasn't his main purpose.

I believe Zazie doesn't have a gender but due to spoilers I can't say why

Peach
>>144124799

Where is Zazie confirmed a boy? Manga wise, Zazie shouldn't have a gender

Skebaba
>>144101850

Technically if Vash wasn't there, E.G the Mine would have detonated all of em, since without Vash to knock him out of the cage wheel thingie, none of them could have done shit vs him to get him out of there so they could tackle him down to die with them, no?

Fallen.1

does anyone know which subtitles are more correct? Crunchyroll or Hulu? and does the gang watch one version but post the other? cause shit not matching lol

YoNoSe11
>>144124799

There’s quite a few characters in the manga with ambiguous genders or their genders swapped in the anime.

Ghost_Troupe

Bro is a whole Guilty Gear character

Razrok21
>>144197332

I was JUST about to ask y were they saying different stuff in reply to the subs

Fizzy

Yessir my fav characther wolfwood

Fallen.1
>>144197332

I figured cause I watch Trigun in Hulu (even tho my main source of anime is crunchyroll) cause I noticed in Crunchyroll that the few words I know in japanese werent matching the subtitles. So I think they're posting the Crunchyroll subs but watch elsewhere, it's just confusing/frustrating lol

Cameron Glunt

I think its cool that they showed wolfwood being with the others from the jump this time, it's getting me antsy again 😁

Jaelyn Mcgee

As amazing as the laser is, I kind of miss the awesome simplicity of pistols+machine gun and rocket launcher combo from the og series and I recognize what a odd statement that is.

Marc Williams

Zazie is a whole male. Femboy status, confirmed.

The mangaka for Trigun is also known for character designs for video games (yes, he also worked on Guilty Gear 😆)

Fobbles

Why were the subtitles different than what they saw?

Jake Young
>>147025916

They watch the shows on official places like crunchyroll and netflix, but they have to use torrents and fan subs for the actual video because they cant always get the exact same file as streaming, so sometimes the subs are a bit different
