Honestly this show takes some really mature steps with not forcing drama for the sake of it being drama. johnny's acceptance of moving on from Eagle Fang in name could've been drawn out more, but was handled well and Kenny's brother could've been used as another surprise antagonist, but he was handled extremely well. He had his understandable issues with Robbie but he didn't let that detract him from being a good big brother and realizing that Kenny needed to find some mentors in Miyagi-Do

Same! I was a kid when it first came out and I really did love it. I was even surprised that people hated it so much. The scene was awkward. They established that they weren't actually going to fight. Kenny said he wasn't going to hit them and they weren't there to throw punches anyway. That whole part could have just been them luring him away or something rather than a 2v1 Tug of War match.
