Makeine is way better than Alya. Alya is good but it’s the adaptation by Doga Kobo that pushes it to being great. Summer was definitely romance season and I enjoyed it but most of them were just good, alright or just mid. Makeine was the only S tier one.

Its all good but its true that Horimiya got delayed two times (+sync problems) makeine got delayed now and I believe (if i remember correctly) there was one other too in the last three weeks // its all good and i appreciate the content but if u can't keep up with stuff and have to delay others then, as u said, u doin' too much // I'd rather get the stuff at the time i was promised then more and delayed

The budget on this anime must be big since the background characters actually move around a lot. It feels very vivid. Only other anime I've seen with type of quality is Oregairu and a bit of Angel beats

I don't think so, I've seen some anime where background characters don't have a face, some where they don't even have a body and are just shadows or colored shadows. I've seen some where just stand still and still talk. I believe budget has to do a lot with that. Just like they said in invicible. People without much budget cut corners and just don't put too much animation on background characters or just switch to stock footage when talking.
