Comments

Malaika

Next…week

PJ Rivera

For a more slow paced season I’m glad roshi and crew listened to the recommendations

Desert Penguin

That makes no sense and makes me very mad. Love you lots

Candy

Isint the guy with small arms from American horror story

nicholazsyx

next week is lowkey torture but ok!

Marijayne

So sad about episode 4 being pushed back, but at least we got this one. *coping* This show is so good, I would honestly move it to 3 times a week lol.

Amos

Please consider The Gentleman and Reacher as Severance replacements!

Desert Penguin

So we get three next week then, right? Right??

LaTesha

My guess at 24 minutes in is that she hit Orpheus girlfriend with her car. Edit: I was wrong but it was crazy how they were serious that the reason was because she smothered her brother as a baby.

rickie woodson

ari is the princess from the story of theseus and the minotaur

Davon Thomas

So why did furies take 30 years... to come after Ari

Drake Rage

46:33 No actually, the fact that Cassandra (The girl that warned them to Run) having the curse that "You have dreams/visions of the future, but no one believes you" implies that if people DID believe her and heeded her advice, then they could change the outcome. I think the prophecies (I guess Prophecies in this show are just the ones written on the piece of paper, and I guess people only get 1 actual Prophecy of something they will do) are different from Cassandra's visions of the future. Prophecies will come true, but Cassandra's future vision can save you if you listen to her, but she is cursed with nobody believing her.

Delinda Arts

Loving this show but that furies plot line is absurd lmao. I hope they give it more nuance fr

Delinda Arts

getting clapped because of shit is CRAZY

GigaDirt

I vote for Ajin:Demi human after the winter season replaces the current shows

Yup, I feel like it'd be perfect for them, especially since they are fucking with Inuyashiki

HypeRec
>>149857966

I'd just say read the manga to be honest not because of the shitty CGI (complete insult to Sakurai's art) but the adaptation is also rather lacking

GigaDirt
>>149857966

Idk, I really liked the cgi and after I read the manga. It's still better but I felt the anime held up

IIhon

Ariadne and Deadalus's stories are classic Greek myths, if you recognise the names then you already know the real fate of her brother...

Maleny

I've read greek myth, I believe in you Theseus.

Zygo

dawg I thought Theseus was with Ariadne in the myth 😭🙏

Look I maybe the only negative review about this show reaction, but I really feel the show goes only down hill from here, especially ep 7-8. They don't address much, they don't explain much, and everything is just implied but overlooked since it looks good. The biggest fault of it to me was that they pretty much expected a 2nd season so they made the choice of it not to explain most things this season, so they can hook the viewer for answers they currently do not have. I love the premise, but god damn is this show's execution horrifically terrible.😅

Honestly I hate when shows do that, especially shows that sign contracts with Netflix, they hook viewers for the first season, answer absolutely no questions, and then Season 2 never arrives because Netflix is Notorious for always having them in limbo for a couple of years, then canceling them.

Anon7524
>>149924636

Exactly part of my issue, but also granted even if it was made not by Netflix, why do shows set up for 2nd season when nothing is confirmed anyway. What happened to each season being able to be self contained in case of a cancellation, what about what happened to actually explaining the details of setting in the first season. Basically I got a lot of issues with this show, as it perfectly exemplifies how awful the modern TV industry is for consumers/viewers

WorldWideLove2000

I don't get why they saying Orpheus is weird and obsessed for trying to get Riddy back, but they don't think the parents trying to get their son back is weird or obsessive. 😅

beanYamen

You Guys might like the show "good omens" some phenomenal actors, worth checking out

Wsgyan

Because riddy doesn’t fucking love orpheus anymore and because he took her coin back cause he was selfish as hell that’s not that hard to understand

WorldWideLove2000
>>149960808

Damn aggressive for no reason 😂 First of all, Riddy not loving Orpheus has nothing to do with it cause Orpheus didn't know that Riddy felt that way. Second, he took the coin so she couldn't cross over cause he wanted to cross over with her. Yes, in hindsight it's selfish. But it's also understandable.

Anon7524

Personally, it's rather clear to Orpheus, at least for how this show operates, Riddy fell out of love for him, and he ignored it due to his love for her. He knew she was getting more uncomfortable with him, and to me he knew regardless of the accident that he found out about mid concert, she didn't want to go with him to the concert, especially when she turned down the offer twice to go at the same time. His ignorant love for her doomed her, and that's why Orpheus is the bad guy here. He never really considered her feelings a single time during the last few episodes, despite his overwhelming love for her. For the parents part, yes it's creepy as hell but also no further comment as the rest of the season hasn't been shown yet and their existing mythology might explain to how it might be resolved. Orpheus is completely different to me and others

JotaroDrake

Furies thing feels like a stupid plot device

Corey Leach

So Troytown and the Trojans are basically this universe version of the hood and black ppl, that's interesting. I fk with them Trojans cuz them gods aint shit, mainly Zeus though. Also I like the inclusion of the casting. I've seen a person with vitiligo and the Daedalus actor is actually born that way.

Lily Rose
>>150221792

hood and black people lol what are you talking about.. this is greek mythology

Dragonfire
>>149915188

in the myth, she helped him escape the Labyrinth, but he left her on Naxos after they escaped Crete. The reasoning depends on the myth. Some say it is because she is promised to Dionysos, others say Theseus was just unfatithful.

Zygo
>>149915188

yeah, i was just surprised that weren't a thing in the show same with Orpheus and Eurydice
