Theory: What if Nanno purposely did all this to teach Yuri a lesson? Because Yuri mentioned more than once that she wanted her spot, Nanno fakes her death, leading Yuri to a false sense of security and take over since she believes the job is so easy. Eventually, she realizes it's not as simple as she thought. Because she created a monster in Junko who now appears everytime Yuri is dispensing justice/karma on someone and kills them.

Ngl the storyline was decent, writing fell short, and some scenes were awkward but Kitty Chicha (Nanno) carried and I watched for her so 7/10

did you forget yuri was once human? she is not a divine being like nanno. she is the true villain of the show. she chooses who her targets are and if they help her interfere with nanno? all the better. yuri has no reason to side with nanno when they are rivals in her eyes

i liked the series. my one complaint is: yuri was not needed and is mad annoying. dont like the character or the actress. i think all the lessons and morals hit just fine. its not like nanno was driving the car that hit that dude's kid in season 1. she just sets up the chess board and then they play themselves........
