Now this what I came for 🤝🏾

Calling this now, magic is just Ki manipulation specialized. Dragonball is based off Wuxia (Virtuous Warrior)/Xianxia (Virtuous Immortal)/Xuanhuan(Mysterious Fantasy), and in all of those it's standard to have an indirect form of Qi control similar to how magic is used. Would be cool to see that explained though, since it could mean Goku could learn it too

عبدو

pls look back reaction when ?

Jazmyne Mattucci

if i remember right, guns dont work on Goku if you remember the shit in Dragonball. he just dont like em cuz they be stinging his ass like bees

Rubin

To be fair Panzy is still considered a child so she wouldn’t have a husband or kids yet. So hearing that Goku who also looks like a child has a wife and kids surprised them.

Devin B

I like the concept of this show but I wish they incorporated more of the Z fighters into the main story, so far it looks like they're saving Vegeta, Piccolo, Krillin, and everyone else until the end.

He did get knocked out once by a gunshot back in the Red Ribbon Army saga

Jigga Man

I swear bro, once Goku realize you're light work he just flexes for no reason 😂

Luhbabytay

It wasn’t just her stuff that cause the plane to crash

Corey Leach

Welp time for more deadly adventures thru the third demon world. Looks like this will be Goku's lil training arc before he reaches Gomah. Hopefully next episode we'll get to see what the Earth team is doing rn.

SoyDeans

82 in her race is basically tot age, if they live on average 1000 years shes only like 8

Imari

Well to her she is also a child that’s why the dad said she can marry Goku when she’s older cause they thought Goku was a kid due to his outer body. With her life span being in the 1000s she sees kids her age that her 100 or 89 as children still so Goku being married in that body is still strange to her since kids her age look like him.

Delinda Arts

Glorio would be insane to watch Goku's highlight film and still betray him lmao.

Bulma shot up Goku in episode 1 and he was just knocked back from it. They still do blunt damage to him though.

DevilMayCarter

No matter the year, no matter the show, no matter the age, Goku can't keep his mouth shut unless food is involved. (Even then, he STILL feels the need to say something) Also, is this one of the rare times he actually refers to himself as Kakarot?

DevilMayCarter

8:30 I see they borrowed from the Shield Hero playbook with that...and she uses magic too.

Richard

They should’ve brought Vegeta he would’ve been beating random people up and talking mad baby shit 😂😂

That's what I mean, they don't kill em but they just annoying to him prob at best. Prob would hurt more tho since he small again.

Davon Thomas

it's nice to have the adventure aspect back in DB but introducing a whole realm of weaklings feels kind of pointless to where we are now in the story. Like these people feared Buu and goku has defeated him they should know he's stronger than whatever they have in their realm. Also I just hate how toriyama doesn't just progress pass the end of Z lol like 0 tension in 2 series because we know it all works out.

did we see something similar when ssj god goku did that one move to broly to stop him in the movie?

Davon Thomas
>>155033748

Easier to just say it's Ki but the demon realm calls it magic because that's their word for it since knowledge would be different from place to place. Like Panzy used telekinesis "magic" but that's something ki is already capable of

Anon7524
>>155033748

@Davon Thomas That's kinda how it's explained in the 3 genres I mentioned, but it still referred to as magic in a few minor cases even when using the same Qi system especially in Xuanhuan over the others

Anon7524
>>155033748

@Teeny Mite I don't remember the specifics of the fight scenes much from that movie other than them being cinematic 😅

Ghost_Troupe

All this talk about magic makes it seem like they're setting up for the Moro arc from the Dragonball Super manga

Yeah, I agree with this bit. I thought they were gonna place this sometime after/during Super, but no, we still doing this after Z’s Buu Saga? This was why I was hesitant about them making another new Dragon Ball series… I am curious to see where they’ll go with this when this ends because they’ll eventually have to tie it back into Super chronologically speaking….

Sam

Personally, I like that the ship crashed. This show feels so much like Dragon Ball and one of my favourite things about that was the adventure/journey. I'm loving this, it's so chill atm.

Rishad GB

12:35 it does make sense cause 82 is child years there ...her dad literally said when you grow up you can marry goku so they thought goku is also around 80 and is a child

Rishad GB
>>155045662

so canonically after that praise from vegeta I guess he accepted kakarot as his name which is why the broly movie version also makes sense

Lxndxn

would be pretty cool if they connected this to xenoverse. glorio looks so similar to mira

Senjioh

I am calling it right now Glorio is going to be an op, I foresee him getting a power spike somehow and becoming the main threat

Michael Saylor

Goku has claimed the name kakarot a couple different. One of the times was when he told broly to call him kakarot since it's a full blooded saiyan thing

Wolf
>>155035678

It kinda makes sense. It’s celebrating the anniversary of OG Dragonball so it seems like they’re trying to incorporate more of the early Dragonball-esque feel with the smaller party and world exploration. Since this isn’t a long running show and the fact that Vegeta , Piccolo and Bulma are in the intro, I’m sure they’ll show up no later than the first fight with the Tamagami.

Wolf

Imagine if Glorio was sent by Towa to get Gomah dethroned out of respect for her brother Dabura. Glorio steals the wish for the Demon Dragonballs to grant him power, is defeated, then rebuilt by Towa to become Mira. That would be crazy.

I wonder what Lupa thinks of round rice. It's my favorite type of rice. It becomes heavily creamy and sticky when cooked long enough, and that's how it's best to eat. It fills your hunger real fast. It is so fucking good with some sauce over it, it absorbs it all. But it tastes better while hot or lukewarm. And because of its creamy nature, you better eat it after cooking because it doesn't preserve very good from my experience.
