Ambessa the goat, exactly whats needed to get the SCUM in line

Comments

TheMilkMan

Cait said "fuck them kids" 🤣

Dragon

whoo

Red Death

Ambessa pack gonna hit like crack in the 80s 😌

Fizzy

I love ambessa so much, she really don’t play about

Tremaine

Shoulda shot VI in the leg and pumped both powders full of lead

Kisuke01

I was expecting Roshi to say clap the child and Jinx 😭

PJ Rivera

Cait going full darth vader with ambessa being her palpatine. Also love how they show how dangerous the black rose is because that one low ranking assassin almost took out ambessa and her main guard and we know how much of a problem those two are. A non-spoiler rundown of the black rose is that they are a dangerous secret society that uses blood and demon magic. Suffice to say ambessa has every right to be scared these guys are like the Illuminati, CIA, and KGB all rolled into one. Everywhere and anywhere their agents lurk

GG

I think The reason why Vi stopped Cait was bc Isha (the little girl) was acting as a human shield to protect Jinx, that’s why she was hugging her. so any bullet that Cait would’ve shot had a high possibility of hitting Isha too, and it seemed like Cait couldn’t have cared less that she was in the way so long as she got Jinx. Vi didn’t want to risk Isha getting shot. At least that’s what I gathered from that moment. Hilarious reaction as always btw. I knew going into this Roshi was gonna go along with the way Ambessa handles things, she got that Roshi Justice😂

Tremaine

Gauntlets not for mining they for gripping and grabbing

Chelly

why am I on everyone’s side 😭 this show is too good man

Simico Swift

Highly recommend you guys watch “The Silo” you guys would love it!

Life101!
>>155141426

I feel like no one points this out but Ambessa is EXACTLY like Silco, in the fact that both of them are willing to ruin entire communities in order to get what they want.

Semaj Brown

The gray is cause from piltover and was pushed underground. The statue of the lady who supposedly brought the winds to save them was actually preventing those winds from coming out. So when it blew up. It blew all that gas and shit back up. That’s my understanding

Chelly
>>155142429

Vi also hesitated to kill Jinx when she saw just how ready she was to die. My guess is because it shows a level of humanity from her that Vi thought had died with Powder. Isha choosing to shield Jinx like that probably made her feel that even more as well

dupplo

its really weird that Vi suddenly cares about a kid getting killed when she was the one who told Jayce "there are casualties in war" when he blicked that one kid in the factory. She literally didnt care back then but suddenly grew a conscience

Colin Donnelly
>>155141426

Thank god other people r seeing it man. She legit gave the under city full access to the memorial for the council members. This is what rly pushed cait over the edge and kinda made her snap. Before that she was saying can’t get inoccents involved and then called them animals. Ambessa is enabling Caitlyn to go in this darth Vader esc. crusade.

Uni

Not Roshi doing the Noxian Salute.. lol dude would love the Noxus Region.

Kingmakaii

Cait might as well be hitler yeah we gassing whole city bro tf you acting like everyone in the under city is criminals new flash there’s not there is also innocent people why are you gassing the city

ThatOneGuy

The grey just went away naturally once exposed to outside ofc if you breath it in it’ll hurt but it wouldn’t have stagnated like in the underground. So the right way of getting rid of it was releasing it topside but Piltover wants to maintain the pristine look it has so you can’t have that.

Guav

he did indeed thin she was going to appoint him, thats why he accepted ambessas help

J-or-Dan
>>155142429

Vi wasn't hesitating to kill Jinx the mission was to apprehend if possible kill if not and she had jinx dead to rights until Isha got involved

David

oh man we are so close. also Janna mentioned

Metweet .c

Vi and Cait a true lesbian relationship. Kiss, domestic violence and break up in the same day. Hell they were already living together

Jalen

Crazy how people keeping forgetting that most of the problems are caused by top side :/ like in the grand scheme of stuff they've gotten off easy with everything that's happened.

ZO

I feel like they all are gonna team up to go against black rose and whatever sing is making

Luhbabytay

All Hail Jinx ‼️

Yeh2001

Jinx the GOAT

Luhbabytay
>>155143885

Fr then ppl wanna feel bad for them just cause they see ppl dying mostly from their side

Danger Tomato

Still team jinx, no mercy for the topside

Chelly

Jinx’s idea to gas Piltover right back is genius and honestly, good for Zaun. They’re not taking this shit anymore.

Jaique Arnett

Them bullets Caitlyn was firing would’ve given her a collateral on jinx and the kid that’s why VI stopped her

Asher Ealey

Bro am I the only one who likes Silco even more after watching these 3 episodes? We are currently seeing just how corrupt piltover is even outside of the cops. I’m interested to the direction this goes. Imma be honest I have a bad feeling both Vi and Jinx are gonna die by the end. But they may have to team up cause ambessa with Caitlyn is a PROBLEM!!

Harmonial

So Ambessa made a deal with the IV tube face lady to let them into the memorial to make Zaun look bad to make it look like all of Zaun was a problem instead of just Jinx so they can declare martial law? That's how i understood it anyways

Rimuru

Jinx doing her thing this season

Asher Ealey

I know heimerndinger was thinking “who’s we?” When Jayce said what have we done. He literally warned them about this and they booted him off the council for it😂

Gilthwixt
>>155143788

Was not on my bingo card this season but I appreciate it. I thought There wouldn't be any room for cameos of other Piltover/Zaun champs since the cast is so stacked already, but now I'm wondering if we're not gonna get allusions to Camille, Zeri, etc. in the background.

Gilthwixt
>>155144560

So uh, I'm like fairly certain Jinx was expecting to die there and the gas/paint was supposed to be confetti for a "Yay I'm finally dead and not suffering anymore :D" moment, given what she said to Vi right before they went off.

Thev2g

the place where jayce ekko and heimerdinger are at underground is the base of the hextech gates. remember that before the use of hextech for weapons it was primarily used for the gates that facilitated travel (including trade) between piltover and other nations like noxus. That's where the "over-use" is coming from.

Metweet .c

Cait really crashed out from her mom's death. But crazy that the kids in the undercity be losing their parents everyday but have to move on and live their life and have to accept oppression from the elite. Topside get a taste of that fear and immediately crash out. Crazy

mason zeo

Sheera was way too obsessed with everyone for some reason pausing to check the weapons. Even after the combat there was a lot that immediately happened. Also none of them have any idea how/what/why its happening. Only Ekko, Jayce, Heimerdinger so its easy to dismiss it as a little glitch. Gotta love Roshi justice though. Fuck them chembarons. Caitlyn took em out

Chelly
>>155144560

no, it was The Grey and it was specifically sent back topside. So even if she did expect to die there (wouldn’t surprise me) redirecting it was definitely intentional on her part

NicksKicks

Captain Planet sent me into a fit 🤣 Also, still Team Jinx maybe even moreso after that Ekko/Jayce convo. They legit do not care about killing those people so I do not care about those in power getting bagged up. Caits mom seemingly “cared” but was still one of them and Cait just turned into a puppet.

SDaeses
>>155144686

Yeah, Ambessa basically gave Piltover the final reason to make a move against Zaun and wipe them out and imo the only person who could have stopped her grab for power is Mel but yeah...

SavvyAlloy
>>155145251

Yeah, it is crazy. Powder and Vi's parents were killed by enforcers and yet they didnt seek revenge (Probably because of Vander teaching them about how revenge is bad or something) and moved on, but once its the opposite then it's immediately a bounty hunt.

Juan Camacho

My favorite part was when Jayce hit the raw rune and Lupa looked as if he was part of the action that just occurred. In 24:56

Tremaine
>>155141796

So be it stick to your word we down there for revenge and to kill your TERRORIST sister ain't no backing out

Chelly
>>155144686

They would have invaded regardless and there’s no way all of Zaun would be chill with that. But yes, Ambessa did set things up so she could profit off of a war between the two sides, leaving absolutely no room for negotiation.

Sylisen E.

Can't wait for next Part Saturday!!!

Zeklo

Nahh Cait hitting Jinx's finger WAS a miss, and now the gun is tweaking too?? You gonna chance that?

Siravia

jinx vented the Gray into Piltover - you can see the kid in Cait's coronation scene that was affected by it but it didn't have as big of an effect as it did on Zaun because there's an open sky compared to being trapped underground. still affected people, but to a lesser extent

Reckless Company

Cait gonna get her couple of years of revenge and then get back on redemption arc we all know MEL mom the real enemy 😭

angel

the undercity does not have to be thankful to topside for getting rid of the gas when I'm pretty sure they put it there in the first place don't do cruel ass shit to people and then be shocked when it comes back to bite you in the ass idk

Nachelie

I think Caitlyn would have missed because she was too emotional, you see how she shot Jinx's fingers off that wasn't accurate. The kid was too close to Jinx so they still would have been hurt.

GNEISS

The grey jinx blasted to the topside messed some people up but its open air so it kinda just went away, its literally the same thing they were using on Zaun.

Black_Star

All these mfs need is therapy and sdveka is only on jinx side cause she doesn't know jinx killed silco. It's about to be a full out war between like 4 sides

Reckless Company
>>155140303

She shot jinx finger off she got aim I don’t think she would’ve hit the kid but maybe I got fucked up thinking 😂

Sylisen E.

So Jinx vented part of the grey to topside, but as the grey is created by mining the fissure, it'll always come back But you could say that she vented all the grey stocked in the undercity pipelines at the moment

Life101!

Cait was going to shot the kid. That kid was literally using herself as a human shield

Trey Milliner-Williams

"The Gray" gotta be black and mild juice mixed with Reggie to have this type of effect. shit probably smells like a motel 6

Sylisen E.
>>155146707

and the Kiramman created the ventilation system so they had the control of it

Asher Ealey

Firstly Caitlyn missed twice in that scene so Vi’s concern was valid. But secondly, y’all were talking about the weapons. Every shot was a gamble with how much the weapons were bugging out. Unlike S1, Vi was not gonna risk a random kid’s life for vengeance.

Luciana Xavier

caitlyn was clearly very emotional and she was obviously going to miss the shot because she had already missed the first one when she hit jinx's finger and a second one when she hit vi's gauntlet. in addition, there was the fact that the child was basically a human shield and was moving a lot. vi was right to stop caitlyn.

Derick

Yea cait wasn’t gonna miss but if you look right before jinx’s head and the child’s are side by side in that moment cait did not care who was gonna die right now she hates jinx more than she loves vi. And also vi see’s that the kid cares for jinx another reason why she tells cait don’t shoot.

Philbo
>>155142429

That's how i took it as well. the ONLY reason VI stopped Cait was because of Isha acting as a human shield. i also believe after seeing VI joining the enforcers, wearing the badge and using "The Grey" as a weapon, Jinx was full on ready to kill VI as too why she shot a Rocket point blank. She Screamed "No" cause she didn't want VI to hit Isha.

xest

I completely understand Caitlyn’s crashout. Kidnapped, tortured, watched her mom get blown up looney tunes style, and watched her mom’s memorial service get shotup for like no reason. This happened in the span of like a week 😂 I admire Cait for standing with Mel rejecting the other members idea of a full on invasion but there’s a limit to kindness and we saw how she was pushed over the edge after the memorial.

Chelly
>>155147214

“Cait wasn’t gonna miss” less than a minute earlier she missed lmao

Red Death

Ngl Zaun is justified in everything they do. Piltover can kick rocks

Panda

Damn roshi, already switching up on ma boy ekko like that. lmao

Thev2g

So about the ventilation pushing out the colored smoke/the grey. This is pure speculation based on what they have shared with us in previous episodes: In episode 2 of season 2, Jinx tells Sevika that her next step of action is end her family. Normally, you'd think, oh that means she wants to get rid of Vi but I think she means herself. At the beginning of Vi and Jinx encounter, she says something along the lines of she just cant seem to die. Referencing when she was ready to die with the grenade when she fought Ekko in the first season. Fast forward to Episode 3, when she gets pinned down by Vi, she mentions, "it had to be you" meaning it had to be Vi who kills her. She was already accepting of her fate of death at the hands of her sister. The act of pushing out the colored smoke was her last act to signify her death, that's why I think she was saying "this isnt how it's supposed to happen!" when Sevika pulled the trigger to release the smoke up. Of course this is just speculation.

Nuri Numighost

I’m pretty sure the gray is the toxic gas from them doing work in piltover and so it was seeping into the underground. The kirameens sealed it away so it wouldn’t do as much harm but miners from the underground accidentally mined a vein or a tube or something and it started leaking Into Zaun again, which is why it was a Female ancestor of the kirameen was probably a sealing the Gateway again (the pretty wall statue lady)

Jakohbe White

In the game universe lore the Janna story is true but it might seem like they twisted it a bit for this adaptation.

slavicandsapphic
>>155146631

Sevika said to Jinx like “Are you here to finish me off?” And also was probably there as she confessed to killing Silco to Smeech Plus Jinx is not hiding the fact she killed him(“Done it to myself enough”) so i find it very hard to believe Sevika doesn’t know

Shiroja

The champion I main in the game is about to enter the fray. I'm excited.

TheMilkMan
>>155140303

True, either way, good shot or not she wouldn't have cared about that kid, she got murder on her mind

slavicandsapphic

Is it just me or does it seem like Lupa’s enjoying Jinx more this season LOL

Schmidli
>>155144686

Only thing that trips me is that Ambessa is gunning for control of hextech, but seemed to allow chainsaw woman to kill Jayce (he got lucky af to survive). Jayce being the inventor of hextech and the only one willing/able(?) to create hextech weapons, seems that putting him in a high chance of death scenario would be a bad idea.

Panda

The gray would have been(im not 100% cuz this is from game since it's not explained in the show 100%, no spoilers ofc) natural gases produced as a by-product from the factories in the lower city. In the show it looks like the kiramens built a ventilation system to help circulate that for the people who lived there(the system ekko was talking about and cait saw in the diagram). It was briefly mentioned in season 1 and silco used it on the Chem Barons when they had to put on the masks. There is a lingering amount in the lower city at all times, but the ventilation helps. Caitlyn seems to be turning off the systems or directing the exhaust to the areas where she want's to use the grey. So when jinx released it to top side, it would only be for a short amount of time(at least until they can repair the system if they can), there would still be gray in the lower city and top side at most might get some exposure while also never being exposed to it before, but also they are not stuck underground.

Gilthwixt
>>155144560

Watch it again, no one is actually hurt by the grey when she vents it topside because it just gets dispersed into the atmosphere. She's not stupid, if she wanted to actually poison everyone up there she'd have done more than mix some pretty colors into it. She also wouldn't have cared about Sevika setting it off early while shouting "No, it wasn't supposed to be this way". It was literally just her wanting to be extra and flashy at the moment of her death. Lupa even points it out.

Shiroja
>>155148687

I won't say the name so it won't spoil anything but the creature you see hanging at the end is the champion I main in the game.

RF

This is why you don't date cops, especially when the start gassing people by releasing the toxins they only have to suffer because of how shitty you built your entire fucked up city.

Isaac
>>155148687

Girl, look. It's Leblanc. It's a name. They'll either know who it is or not. There's barely much of a spoiler in a name.

Frazão

Cool detail, when Cait is going to shoot her shot at the reflection of jinx, you can see a petal on top of her head, just like we see when in cait's imagination from ep 1 of this season, kinda showing us Cait's mind

Gilthwixt
>>155143264

Besides character development, there is a difference between doing it on accident vs doing it on purpose, and also between who's doing it. Vi could not give a fuck about Jayce being a monster, but she literally begged Cait to never change this episode.

Shiroja
>>155148687

I didn't want to name drop a character that is definitely showing up in the show. Also I said the creature hanging at the end. You know the jg champ not the middle lane mage.

Ace

After these 3 episodes… TEAM EKKO!! The whole vi and jinx thing is a headache 😂

Fuji

good boi WW comin lets go

Black_Star
>>155146631

Her & jinx never liked each other & before silco died the last thing jinx did to her was attack/hang her after she told jinx vi was alive. After she got injected with shimmer jinx kidnapped silco and everyone after he met with jayce. Sevika didn't know any of that happened. And when jinx told smeech she whispered it and sevika wasn't around to hear it

Euphoria Cutie

The gas did affect some people. As you can see the kid at the end with the mask and red eyes. The gas dissipates into the air but if you were near the vents where it came out of then you’ll be affected.

Chelly
>>155144560

There was a kid that had a reaction to it, they show him again during the scene where Ambessa does her whole war speech (the kid with the mask and messed up eye). There might have been more that I’m forgetting too, but that one is certain. The pipes used are the same. The Grey just doesn’t get trapped because it’s not in the fissures like how the Undercity is. This attack is meant to be symbolic more than anything, that’s why there’s color added as well. Idk what else you think she could have done with that kind of bioweapon, but I highly doubt Sevika would have gone along with it all if it was just a suicidal mission anyway.

Gwyn

Anyone else think the girl Jinx is essentially adopting may end up being Zeri?

slavicandsapphic
>>155146631

She didn’t exactly whisper it lmao but ok. Also yes they’ve never liked each other but *again* she casually says how shes orphaned herself enough. Obviously she didn’t kill her bio parents, Sevika definitely knows Jinx’s trauma with Vander. Therefore Sevika most certainly knows that shes killed Silco. It would be very unlikely that the girl—who was casual before about blowing people up or pranking them with fake bombs—would not tell Sevika that she killed Silco. Also the whole thing where she tells Sevika sarcastically “Haven’t I done you enough favors?” literally right after Sevika was having a breakdown over Silco being dead. I could be wrong but I don’t see the Arcane writers making that mistake with their characters. Also personal opinion it would be a very dumb misunderstanding

Gwyn

I love Biblically Accurate Heimerdinger. The boys tripping on raw magic is pure comedy.

Joseph C Gdaniec
>>155145267

also the whole reason they decided they needed to use the hextech for the raids was because Jinx and the undercity tech was too dangerous for them to handle without it so abandoning those weapons mid fight would have probably also meant death for Cait and Vi

Abigail Clark

Fun little details from a person who's started to become obsessed with League world lore. Janna is a wind spirit that's worshiped as a god in Zaun because, as jinx said, she brought clean air to help miners escape from the toxic gasses. This leads to a fun little detail in the fact that Zaun iS REALLY FUCKING OLD. IT IS OLDER THAN PILTOVER. YOU CAN SEE THAT FROM THE RUINS. It used to belong to an old empire called the Shurima empire in lore (basically ancient egypt in terms of aesthetics and theremin) . And the choir in the "ashes and blood" song by woodkid is singing in Shuriman chants, praying to Janna. Imo it all kind of hints that yeah, Zaun as a culture is a lot older than Piltover and that it NEEDS to be its own nation, not just a slum of a city.

Ahridva

HAIL COMMANDER CAITLYN KIRAMMAN!!

Isaac
>>155151304

No. Riot announced Arcane is now canon in the game of League of Legends, so Zeri being some little 5 year old makes no sense.

BlueSmurf
>>155146631

Idk the way sevika worded it, It made it seem she didnt know how he died but I could be wrong

Isaac

In terms of Cait having the shot on Jinx. No she wouldn't have missed but that kid ontop of Jinx was being erratic and the second Cait pulls the trigger, the kid would/could have moved and could/would have gotten shot too. That's the point of stopping Cait. Her being emotional and combat high and not thinking about the power of her hextech drilling both their skulls with how strong it is. She didn't care and that was a problem. So people need to stop saying she would have missed. Especially with that flimbsy finger shot. She took a sure shot to Jinx's hand and not Jinx herself because she was considering Vi's safety at the time. So no she wouldn't have missed, period. It was the child clinging to her with her head right next to Jinx that was the issue.

Luciana Xavier
>>155147041

i was thinking the same thing at first too but before she shoots it shows that she was aiming for jinx's head

Gwyn
>>155152340

The magical wind in the temple of Janna was not helping either, no way Cait didn't hit Vi or Isha.

Ayanda Mpofu

That knee in the face was for Sevika also F TOPSIDE

Sci-fi Knight

Cait is ready to fight one battle, Ambessa is ready to fight another THINKING she's ready for both. After seeing what a little bit what a little of what the black rose can do The Piltover guards can't catch a break.

Black_Star
>>155146631

Jinx saying "haven't I done to enough favors" was literally recalling their last interaction when she attacked sevika then they bonded after mourning silcos death. Why would sevika mourn the man she respected with his killer if she knew? They only knew jinx is wanted because she blew up the council. Which is why she said not to give her to topside cacause she thinks they're responsible

Weltall Gaia

When Mel says someone topside got the chembaron into the funeral, the camera shifts to ambessa standing behind her.

Mikaylin

The parallels from when Vi saw her parents being killed by enforcers and when the lil girl was protecting Jinx is what I think made her pause and stop Cait from killing jinx Also the Zaun people have every right to crash out honestly so I’m team sevika as of rn.

Stevo

Caitlyn’s new look is so cold

Cameron Hall
>>155152340

Yeah she'd have headshot jinx but it would definitely have gone through and potentially hit the kid. Hextech packs a punch

Isaac
>>155148687

It's Warwick ... wink, wink. They'll know or they won't know. Wink, wink. I'm wink, winking because again. The name Warwick is either something they'll know or not along with ......what Warwick even is. WINK WINK.

Yeh2001

I don’t think Jinx was going to get a change of heart I think the plan was for Vi to kill her and at the same time get rid of the grey for the people of Zaun

Isaac
>>155146598

She wouldn't have missed. It was mainly the child that was the problem. Cait had a clear shot but the child had a high chance of being collateral with how they were moving ontop of Jinx with their head right next to Jinx's. That bullet would have drilled through BOTH their heads. So no, she wasn't gonna miss, she was gonna kill them both and she wasn't thinking about the power of hextech she was holding.

Shiroja
>>155148687

Not sure why you feel the need to spoil anything. Even something little is still a spoiler. You should really get rid of your comments but based on how you're acting i doubt you will.

Comfehhh
>>155145251

Frr, as much as I love cait she only got a taste of what the topside was doing to zaun since time immemorial.

Yeh2001
>>155153155

Also it seems that Caitlin’s mom was actually going to do this out of good will but Caitlin turned it into a Chemical weapon

Isaac

I love the cameo of Janna. Janna holds a special place in my heart because she was the first Support Champ I mained during my early League days and she was the first champ I bought a skin for, it being Forecast Janna when it first came out a hella long time ago. Glad to see her being sprinkled in the Undercity lore as she should since she's such an integral background character who we'll only see pictures and worship of and nothing more.

Lux Divinum

To be fair, I don't think Vi was protecting Jinx from Caitlyn, I think she was protecting the innocent child that was protecting Jinx. Caitlyn was willing to shoot even if the child was in the way, and Vi wasn't gonna let her put the kid's life in danger like Jinx would have. That's why she said Caitlyn was acting like Jinx.

Justin Neason

I'm ngl, I'm team Cait for what went down underground. Like this person killed her mom, you told her take the shot then STOPPED her talm bout when if you missed, AFTER she just shot the gun out the child's hand to save your ass?? And even though Roshi's right that it wouldn't stop what Sevika did, it don't matter because they couldn't have know about that specific thing and the point was to not have a crashout terrorist still on the loose and now she still is. Vi's feelings are COMPLETELY understandable, and obviously Cait is going down a worse path but if Vi can't stand on business she shouldn't be down there. Like how could you go all the way to Cait and grab her gun but you couldn't pull the kid off of Jinx so she could take the shot? Lowkey, 2 of the task force can't be objective due to personal feelings, maybe neither of them should be down there LMAO

Divine Wrath

Both jinx’s head and ishas were lined up I don’t think cait could’ve made that shot with the emotional state she was in so I think it’s 100% fair for vi to stop her

Isaac
>>155144592

That and the bullet is drill shaped. Even if it was a regular gun, drill bullets are designed to cleanly pierce straight through.

Kuno-chan

The thing is that Cait didn’t have the shot. It wasn’t a clear shot at all because the little kid was in the way and there was a decent chance Cait would miss because she’s so emotional right now. Betting a kids life on Cait’s skills was an insane bet to Vi. Cait didn’t actually miss when she hit Vi’s glove.

Isaac

Now I'm seeing what's gonna happen here. Jinx's failed drama suicide attempt with her color smoke send off spectacle for her death is gonna look like "revolution message" to the topside and bottom side. That's why they got her looking like a leader with a banner in the opening cinematic.

LC

Scum in all caps is wild af

Guns

Damn, that thing at the end looks as big as Vander in Shimmer form

Whitney Williams

This is such a wild season so far. I really want to know the lore behind Ambessa and why witches are after her and the real reason her son died. There's a music video out that goes into her background of when she was younger which is amazing, but I need to know how she expects hextech to solve her problems. We're getting 9 episodes and I can't fathom what could possibly happen next.

NitrousOxide19
>>155142429

yeah we saw the kids head was on level with jinx's multiple times so there was a real chance it wouldve went through both their domes.

LJ

Smh that scum witha hard R is uncalled for

myonnacanplay Broadnax

Im pretty sure jinx said that isn't how it's supposed to go was because she planned on dying there and she was planning on killing vi too with that explosion. When she said finish what's left of my family she wasn't just talking about vi she was also talking about herself .

Luhbabytay

Jinx and vi need to clap cait or jinx need to clap both of them 😌✊🏼 all hail jinx

MayvaAva

Cristher Gamayo

Jinx releasing it to topside was to show them a glimpse of what the people of the underground have to breathe on the daily when they work the fissures. She didn’t get rid of it but it was to show them that topside isn’t as untouchable as they like to think they are

Akil Spalding

Essentially what jinx did is release an ancient seal on a spell that a spirit named Janna cast to cleanse Zaun of the grey. So in short, yes she did just vent out all the grey. Janna is a champion in the game but in lore before Zaun and Piltover were seperated they were one big place but an incident took place that caused Zaun to fall. Ancient ruins were already down there and so was Janna and being the helpful ancient wind spirit she is, she helped the people of zaun. That last fight took place in those ancient ruins I just mentioned and that woman on the wall is Janna herself.

Requiem_Phantom

You like Ambessa, check out the Arcane Music video, "Blood Sweat & Tears". Its about Ambessa and its really fire with Arcane style animation. Yall should do a react video on it.

Anto

Has Jinx actually killed any innocent person? I think I'm rooting for her since at least she's killing people that are part of this thing. Piltover wants to do a massacre.

LJ

Jinx cutting the pipe, leaking the grey down was storing the grey infront of the door. On the other side of the door was the "windy woman" which is just a violent draft or something natural. The miners called it the windy woman because it saved them as they were suffering from hypoxia, an oxygen deprivation condition that causes hallucinations and delirium. The grey is still there (or itll naturally come back later with time) and it did temporarily affect topside for a short time till it just dissipated into the atmosphere

valid lol i just hope hes actually enjoying her and not wanting to keep quiet just to keep peace is what i mean

Denn B

I understand that caits a great shot but Vi’s issue is that cait would even take a chance. Like everything leads down a path and if your willing to do this than your eventually going to willing to do something worse if push comes to shove. Cait’s also been dropping crazy bigot shit the entire act. If I was Vi I would’ve been took my homeless ass right back to Zaun

Mylo & Clagger even though it was non intentional but with intention the Council members count I think but even then they were shown to not give a shit about the Undercity so idk Edit: Wait she fucked up those Enforcers & was killing hella firelights under Silco but Silco raised her so fuck it 🤣🤷🏾‍♂️

Caitlyn really hit Vi with the "I thought you were one of the good ones" look 💀🙏

I feel for Caitlyn, because she thought Vi and her were on the same page and that she had somebody who understood just how angry and hurt she is, and then Vi stopped her from delivering on that. But they just learned that Caitlyn is willing to cross lines that Vi isn't.

>>155159827

She intentionally murdered the Firelights, Enforcers, Street thugs and the Counsil. We already seen who she killed by accident, Milo and Clagger. She might have accidentally killed innocent dudes in hit missions during the first timeskip with Silco. We know she's prone to fucking up enough for Sevika to not like her at the beginning so I'd say she has killed her fair share of innocent bystanders by accident.

Brennan Ireton

The Grey isn’t gone. Jinx just used that wind blast to launch a bunch of it up into the upper city. Wanted to give them a taste of what it was like down in the fissures. Also, the upper city wasn’t intentionally choking miners for the take Jinx was talking about. The Kirramens built the filtration tunnels to protect the under city.

Xylophage

the fact that jinx was about to shoot vi with a rocket launcher point blank is crazy she wanted her DEAD dead

Dark Danny

not all of Jinxs weapon's run on hex tech, and the the super speed is from the shimmer, she did it it season 1

And with that, the powder keg Wick has been lit, time for War!

Dark Danny

you guys are misunderstanding what's going on, Caitlyn 100% wants to kill Jinx, she tried to kill her in season 1 and that was before jinx killed her mom. Vi is trying to kill Jinx, Jinx is trying to kill Vi, there's obviously some hesitation but they are trying to kill each other

Gene Ryan

Pretty sure what Jayce realised was that instead of his experiments having no side effects like he thought, instead the side effects of fucking with the arcane was shunting the side effects to the underground. Essentially he realised that he had been contributing for years to the worsening of conditions of Zaun.

Dylan

I don't think Cait meant to shoot Jinx's finger off, I think she meant to shoot her in the head and missed. Maybe this is overthinking it, but it seems like whenever Cait shoots to protect someone her aim is true, but when she aims to kill someone then her aim is off.

Dark Danny
>>155159827

Sheera and Roshi watched it after their rewatch of Arcane's first season. Unfortunately, twitch muted that video before he could download it to post on Patreon so there's no copy of it anywhere.

A name

its not even about if cait would miss or not. If you pause right when cait was about to take the first shot (27:16) you see that the kid's head is to the left of Jinx's which means the bullet would've went thru jinx's head and killed the kid, especially since its a strong ass sniper rifle. Caits so angry she didnt even think about whats behind her target which is basic gun safety

Makeni

I love how Heimerdinger said to give everyone +10 years to safeguard the magic and literally NO ONE listened. All of yall can get clapped

Zen Reacts

Being on board with Ambessa is fuckin crazy when she would sell you out in a heart beat. She does nothing but leave bodies behind while scrambling to only protect her family

U__U

The thing is, Cait had already missed in that fight. She shot jinx's finger off which I doubt she wanted to do and then shot Vi's gauntlet while trying to shoot jinx. Also, she did not have a clear shot at the end as the kid was protecting Jinx with her own body, meaning that if Cait shot both would have died and she wouldn't have cared only because one of the victims was going to be jinx. She had already crossed the line, she was blinded by rage and grief to the point that her morals and beliefs went down the drain

Rishad GB

27:00 50 life ending things just happened here in like seconds wtf

Isaac
>>155165248

>>155170301

yeah but he only SAID it and was like “trust me bro” even with his age and reputation it’s still not enough for people to just agree with when there are things ACTIVELY happening to them. he said in this episode there is a reaction to every action but without the hextech in season 1 where would any of them be now? viktor dead. jayce at home. caitlyn no influence. all the “progress” they made so far is still worth it imo since there are uncontrollable factors: the undercity. not that im on any particular side i’m just sayin

Isaac
>>155171365

Ok but you need to know what a sure kill shot is and a strategic shot is. She shot jinx's hand immediately as she cocked the gun because Vi was directly infront of jinx and she didn't wanna risk shooting vi at the time. That was not a miss. That was a disable shot.

Isaac
>>155168817

Vi was in the way when she made that shot. If she attempted a heads hot she risks shooting vi due to the erratic nature of the fight. She took a sure shot at jinx hand immediately to disable her.

If roshi likes ambessa he would LOVE Darius I wish he had place in this story

G A H I

I got very Spider-verse vibes when everything was glitching/going haywire. Like maybe the Hextech/blue stuff wasn’t meant to be there in the first place and was from another dimension (I can’t remember, but didn’t Jayce get that stuff from that wizard when he was a kid)? And like what they said before, because they overused the material to an extreme extent by making weapons/whatever, in addition to the other additional chaos, that triggered a non-cannon event so everything is about to start collapsing? Side note: not Jinx pulling a whole Cersei this episode. 😭😅😅

Warui Yang

I'm not trying to spoil anything regarding the lore. Still, to answer your question, Roshi, according to the League's lore the Zaun Grey is the smoke that accumulates from the undercity from the factories due to all the mining, etc. Jinx ventilated the Zaun Grey up out of Zaun and into Piltover, but with colors (not quite sure what she wanted to prove here but my guess is it was more or less just her trying to go out with a boom that is why she said "no, no this isn't how it's supposed to..." when Sevika triggered the explosion because she isn't going to die anymore) explaining how jinx was able to ventilate the air would cause spoilers that I'm not sure if they are gonna cover in Arcane or not, but yes breaking the wall caused a massive wind rush and vented the Zaun Grey up and out of Zaun it's gone or as gone as pollution can be on earth I guess, but funny how someone who doesn't believe in the stories that people told her, was able to clear out the Zaun Grey from the undercity in such a way. All I'll say is that "All stories are made of both truths and lies." Anyway, the Zaun Grey is a bit different here than in the original lore in the lore the Zaun Grey are just white fumes covering and separating the lower and upper city, but I don't know how to explain it in Arcane the Zaun Grey looks somewhat alive maybe have something to do with the Hextech problem I'm not sure. Maybe Riot is planning on changing the lore of League, after all, Arcane is now the definitive lore-accurate cannon version of League lore.

Some context regarding the Black Rose for y'all: So it is an illuminati type of organization, the head of it is the witch Le Blanc (who should be over a thousand yo). The soul purpose of this organization is to prevent a calamity under Noxus's capital. Le Blanc is known to have many clones, shaped as many influential people around LoL's world. Now Amara is most likely not a clone, but a pawn under Le Blanc, Mel's assistant most likely is a clone. Something about Ambessa's ambition to conquer/rule Piltover and ultimately Noxus (her lore mentioned this) is against Le Blanc's plan (or its her plan all along). The only thing we know is that Le Blanc is incredibly cunning, and I personally believe she is manipulating Ambessa into believing she is reaching her ambitions. It's nice that riot included Black Rose stuff for lore nerds but it can be confusing to new watchers.

It wld be ultimately irresponsible for Caitlin to take that shot 1. The weapons were bugging out 2. Caitlin already took a shot that cld have been vital but only shot the finger of jinx 3. piltover is the ENTIRE REASON the air was toxic down there. they exploited the people down there for cheap labour in the mines and literally use the undercity as a dump. cait’s mother was fixing their mistakes, and cait weaponized it to gas innocent people. and i don’t think vi considers a child being on top of jinx, in the line of fire, “having the shot”, and cait 100% would have regretted taking it when she killed isha. because she was going to kill her too if she took it.

Frenzy X

LMAO CALLING AMBESSA THE GOAT YALL FELLAS DO NOT KNOW ABOUT NOXUS AND WHATS COMING!

Oliver

28:40 Lupa that shit is funny as fuck lmao. So here is why i am on Jinx side. She is not innocent, but you can't expect a "Perfect Victim" before someone deserves empathy The reason "Jinx" was created was because of the APARTHEID system that exist between Pilltover and Zaun. Sure they can kill Jinx, but 5 years later you will have 10 new "Jinx" terrorists. If Powder had been given the same conditions as Jayce she could have been an inventer and not make bombs from the age of 10 and below. Jinx should be held accountable but the Zaunites should be given freedom and equality. Clean air, clean food, clean water. Be able to see the Sun. The Council almost gave them freedom after s1, but that was decades too late and only because Jinx had taken the fight to THEM. Imagine almost giving black people freedom and than stop because a black woman killed 3 white government officials This is my take give me yours if you have something to add :)

Oliver

I think Ambessa wants Cait to fail, by the time she fails Ambessa will step in and be a savior and she will have learned the enemy fighting style by the time she takes charge. Cait is bait if you will

Gevere
>>155240958

Fully agreed, that's also what separates Cait's pain over loss from Vi's or Jinx's. Cait lost her mother in retributional attack that killed 3 people, the sisters lost their parents and many others in a oppressive massacre. Jinx only had the means to execute a rage that was already boiling in Zaun from decades of poverty, oppression and humiliation. Also let's not forget the Council barely agreed to giving Zaun autonomy, the writers had to do a montage to make any sens of how they could possibly agree in the end.

Salo definitely thought Ambessa was going to recommend him. Thats why he was excited when she told him it was time to enact their plans. That was cute ngl 😂 But Yeah Vi was not locked in from the get go, it was stupid for her and caitlyn to be enforcers lol

The reason Vi stopped Cait is 1) the kid was wrapped all around Jinx, shooting Jinx would also hurt or even kill the kid. 2) even if Cait managed to find a spot to kill Jinx (pretty sure she was only trying to shoot her head but the kid's head was literally right next/behind her head too) then the kid would have became an orphan just like Jinx and Vi. Vi realized how much Jinx means to this kid. Also Jinx was ready to die it wasn't a set up or anything. She literally prepared all this to go out with a bang. After she died, all the gas was going to be released up with color as basically one final attack of hers as she would die. That is also why she kept telling the kid to get off her, she wanted to be killed but didnt want the kid to be shot with her. Btw lol the ventilation system does push all the air outside lol how else do you think Cait and her squad got in? In the video it also showed various different entrances/exits of the ventilation system. All Cait did was shut off the ventilation system which then caused all the gas to turn right back around into the undercity.

Shawnii

i think ambessa is setting cait up and shes gonna takeover and be the final boss. and i think vi and jinx will reconnect and will be forced to work with either sevika or cait to stop ambessa.

Team Jinx forever

naumi

Caitlyn is an excellent shot but only when she's in the right frame of mind and calm, which she had been up to this point. I think Vi could see the combination of her emotions and desperation to kill Jinx made her too twitchy, it was too much of a risk with an innocent child there, she even tried to shoot through Vi to get her out of the way. Hell she's been gassing the innocents in the underground just to try and smoke Jinx out, she's very deep in her grief and rage.

Cerenity B

The people of Piltover crashing out after feeling %1 of what the under city has felt for years…

Charles Jennings

I feel like somehow you missed the fact that Asha is hugging Jinx and her head keeps moving from behind and in front of Jinx's head. If Cait missed, Asha might have got hit. If Cait his Jinx, Asha would have got hit (the hex tech rifle is powerful af, confirm would have gone through Jinx)

Offw0rlder
>>155212551

Exactly!!! She already let her take the shot, she’s just not about to let her potentially shoot a kid. Because she’ll have to live with it too & feel partially responsible, and she already has a big plate of that

Will Jones
>>155297958

Glad someone said it. It had nothing to do with killing Jinx. It was all about not accidentally killing Asha in the process.

SigmaMaleDigBick

The basement scientist is named Singed. You know, cuz he was singed by the fire.

Panda
>>155212551

Fun fact, caitlyn has never, not a single time, missed a shot in arcane. They have only ever been blocked(like when vi put her gauntlet in front). Not that i disagree, but narratively there is a bit more validity in cait's statement when ya remember that lol.

sotonye ogan

the hypothesis of jinx beefing with Sevika is crazy when she just save her ass and the kid. Jinx's plan didn't work specifically because the kid intervened

Curtis Freeman

Act 2 finna be on some gang wars shit

Andrew Kildahl

Noooo!!! You're not supposed to root for Caitlin!!!

Heystax

CaitlinK. hope she gets swished cheesed in the underground

Dude559

So hyped for frankenbeast

James Noël

Y'all wild. Ambesa and Cait are effin up so bad right now. No spoilers but shit gonna get real.

speedy

the hexcore finna delete the planet wit all that glitchin bruh

avril
>>155212551

Fun Fact! Those aren't normal bullets, they're literally filled with those blue things, so ofc they'll have greater impact and Isha would've definitely be in the crossfire. And their heads are literally so close

Arc

The Grey is still there, but way less of it, it's always been a part of Zaun. If you remember in S1 when Enforcers went down there they always wore masks and Zaunites are kind of used to it. Also Janna, the wind spirit is legit she was a diety worshipped since before Piltover and Zaun were separated.

Rishad GB

The theme song IS FREAKIN NUTS and the way they transition to a 2D shot or a poster shot mid fight is amazing cause you can literally see the artstyle changes 3 4 times mid fight

Rishad GB
>>155240958

those last lines of urs make so much sense man...and yea cait is literally going the "10 of them bad so all of them bad" route

Freeofgreed

Top side getting their shit rocked this season lol.

charliematick

I DIDNT EVEN PEEP IT WAS THE BLACK ROSE... i love briar even tho the chances of her being here are like 0

Skill Issue. The wagies in the lanes knew what they were getting into when they applied for the mining jobs back in the Piltover settlement days when the mines started for resource grindset etc

Skebaba
>>155256402

Why did he think they'd recommend a cripplie like him for the military position tho??? Like bruh...

Skebaba
>>155199695

They DIDN'T poison the undercity tho??? That's literally what happens WHEN YOU MINE INSIDE MINES... Grey is literally fissure gas, as has been explained, and fissure gas is released when mining (this is actually one of the reasons IRL why mines collapse, because you get BTFO'd by mining in the wrong spot etc, causing a gas detonation or other such fault-line fucky wucky). Piltover isn't doing anything, that's the consequence of them living underground inside the fucking mines...

Skebaba
>>155190011

Yeah. Honestly weird that a warmonger like her doesn't know the saying of "fuck around, find out"...

Eli Kisamo
>>155256402

I think Ambessa told him he was going to get the position. Also, it was just supposed to be a figurehead position. Ambessa would be controlling things behind the scenes which I think Salo was alright with.

Skebaba
>>155174062

No. The crystal Jayce got was just a fried catalyst basically (used to power the global TP or w/e). The blue volatile 20D looking shits from S1 are things you can buy in the black market & other restricted places because magic is a natural thing in the world etc, and clearly pools up at times in some areas where it happens to pool up, which can be mined or w/e technical mumbo jumbo is used to extract the catalysts etc. Sure on metaphysical level the energies that make up "magic" is probably extra-dimensional in nature, but nothing seems to imply it's anything more than a Force of Nature not unlike Gravity etc is, just from somewhere else existing in parallel

Skebaba
>>155171026

Bruh you just made every faction (including Noxus) sound Based af, ngl. Racism, Xenophobia & warmongering is Based af, as long as you are equalist about racism, xenophobia & warmongering, instead of discriminating only on individual targets. Racism, bigotry & warmongering is the best in the FFA format

Caitlyn was in the wrong for 4 main reasons: She shouldn't have been shooting in the vicinity of a child in the first place. Idc how good of a shot she is, she never should've taken the risk of hurting Isha just to get to Jinx in the first place. 2. The gun was glitching. It doesn't matter how good of a shot you are if there's a possibility of your tech glitching. What would've happened if the gun glitched right as she took the shot? 3. Caitlyn was highly emotional because she was so close to getting her revenge on Jinx. An emotional shot is a bad shot, no matter how skilled they are. 4. She was gonna shoot moving targets. It's not like she was at the range; she was gonna aim for Jinx, who was moving, and had Isha in her arms. Vi was also kinda blocking the way. If Vi, Jinx, or Isha moved even a single centimeter the wrong way, shit would've gone left quickly. Caitlyn was very much in the wrong.

Skebaba
>>155170301

Also bro's literally doing all this for altruistic reasons, since as a yordle he doesn't need to give a fuck since he literally can't die anyway...

Skebaba
>>155159827

The council members are hardly innocent people tho. Bro fr forgot all the rampant corruption we literally saw in S1 w/ all the council members (except Heimerdinger ofc) REEEEEing when Jayce was gonna assblast em for illegal shit w/ the hexgates (i.e contraband etc)

Ayoken007
>>155152340

The problem is she WOULDN'T have missed. Isha would have been a casualty. Vi saw that. They've shown Cait to be essentially a deity at marksmanship. The fact that she was going to take shot with a child's head so close to the target is the thing no one can abide by. She was already a lost cause when she took her family's legacy and used it as a chemical weapon. Absolutely FILTHY work.

Isaac
>>155152340

Also just a fun ingame thing. When Cait ults, the only way to avoid it is that someone else blocks it. So going by arcane doing ingame fun stuff, yeah Isha would have straight up been killed if Vi didn't block the first attempted headshot.

Clearice122

I like how the Ambessa followed her daughters explanation of how to choose a ruler from the first season and Caitlyn fit all the criteria she has a kind face she is clever to charm her subjects and she is pliable so Ambessa is going to use that to her advantage especially since Caitlyn from a renown family.

Dark Danny
>>155212551

my point exactly, obviously Vi doesn't want to kill her sister but like she said it has to end, idk how people are watching this and not understanding this. Vi is just concerned with Jinx hurting other people and Cait changing

Jota N.

holy shit is that f'in warwick?????!!!!

James Woodson III

Am I the only one that doesn’t care if Isha would’ve got killed? Cait should’ve smoked her and that kid

TheDroppedFry
>>155512288

Agreed lol it's literally the equivalent of Bin Laden using his wife and child as meat shields when the Spec Ops pulled up. Caitlyn was gonna follow their protocol on that lmao.

PetersThimble

So Roshi, Cait is power tripping and still grieving. THATS why Vi stopped her. She was unstable and would have definitely missed the shot. She had meant to shoot Jinx originally and only got her finger. Her and Mel’s mom are about to ruin everything lmao

PetersThimble
>>155160738

I’m surprised they never mentioned how Cait has been dropping that bigot shit. One of the good ones, I thought you were different, acting like them: Like girl is definitely hitting that down with the undercity pack, even though we know that they’re disadvantaged and poor due to the topside 😑

Izaiah Sanchez
>>155512288

okay, not the equivalent because Isha covers Jinx on her own, Jinx screams "no!". Everyone there understands the situation, that's why no one moves for a few seconds lmao. Cait also only wants Jinx and people loyal to Silco, she's not trying to kill anyone else. Caitlyn would have lost her mind if she killed a kid, she ain't like that lol

CobraCartoon

So in the LOL lore, the Grey is a result of trying to set up a canal that instead created a catastrophe that separated Piltover and Zaun. It’s always floating around so you can’t get rid of it, it just changes it’s severity everyday like smog in big cities. Jinx just sent some of it topside as a “fuck you.” And Janna is a playable character in the game and the stories of being worshipped for helping Zaunites breathe is legit. She’s been around longer than that but a lot of them started believing after the catastrophe.

Denzelwya

If y’all notice Sevika was geeking to because she has some hextech energy from the blast that took her arm that’s my theory

sotonye ogan
>>155225042

the only reason why i still hate him is was when he was trying to relate to Viktor about life when he was dying and buddy over there was centuries old 😂

Jamaal Ellison

Fuck it we're war criminals today. I'd probably take the shot at Jinx as well.

Gmac paddiewac

NGL.....I don't feel bad at all for VI. Should of killed Jynx.

Bria A.

Genuinely kind of obsessed with the “Zaun is terrible” narrative from Piltover considering that the entirety of Zaun’s major crimes have been committed by like…five people lmao. But something something history belongs to the victors, etc.

Julius

I definitely think Cait had the shot, but the kid’s head was on the other side of Jynx’s so Vi was worried about her getting shot too. But Cait wasn’t worried about all that, she just wanted to end Jynx.

GoldenBoy

I like how everyone on Cait side when Jinx could've smoked there whole team multiple times if Vi wasn't on that team the deed would've been done Cait would not be in her right mind and Jinx adopted to her craziness

Sheraya san
>>155512288

So Cait should be no better than Jinx is what u saying? Lol you Jinx haters out here rooting for tyranny, child murder, corruption and oppression and don’t even realize it.

Sheraya san

Y’all sitting rooting for tyranny oppression and nazism. I never wanna hear yall talk abt jinx fans again 😭

ok
>>155554715

Why though? It doesn't make sense really. (on the kill the child narrative that is). im still not really convinced on Piltover as the bastion of hope that we should be rooting for vs the undercity.

Tremaine
>>155554715

One good deed of accidently saving Isha doesn't negate the fact the powder is an actual terrorist piltover was grimes in somethings they did but let's not forget they were willing to make a truce with silco and undercity till you guessed it powder killed silco then blew up the council Isha siding with and protecting powder does deserve death as a consequence for that action

Daniel S
>>155512288

seriously you couldnt give a worse example than that, if his wife and child would shielded osama, guess what, they could just grab them like the fuck, they litterly surounded osama with no escape, why the fuck should they kill the child and wife as well? Dude you seriously have some problems saying this shit

Karabo

@29:`7 not captain planet crying somewhere lol
