need the Bat to beat the shit out of this pig

Comments

Itanna

You know how long I been waiting for this

bleach

It's all fun and games until Oz sees 🔼+⏺️ above his head in Part 2

N1ckv3n

Roshi, we need Look Back

Domehead

Aye man LONG LIVE VIC

cornett0

vic and sofia were basically like the two brothers he had that he ended up betraying. This guy reminds me of Jinx tbh except jinx is a more lovable character.

RYC

vic dies... batman: ILL GIET YOU PENGUIN!!!! BUT NOT RIGHT NOW COS MY MOVIE HASNT COME OUT YET!.........BUT...ILL GET YOU! serious note; i have an in world theory for batman not being around. (btw i know reeves and others have spoke about batman NOT being in the series from early press) my in universe theory is.... he was on bedrest/a major stint of pysio therapy w/ alfred. hear me out. that shotgun blast fucked batman up at the end of the batman 1. remember he took that green serum that ppl think is bane venom from the comics just to beat that final goon. but he was completely immobilised, it took all his strength to just reach into his pocket to take that serum and shoot it into his system. i think a couple times after helping flood victims onto stretchers and helping others in the direct aftermath of the 1st film, the adrenaline boost probably wore off from that juice shot, and he probably sucuumbed to some heavy injury because of that shotgun blast to the chest. the start of penguin is a week after batman 1 to the end where its a few months later. i could see bruce on bedrest struggling to be in full form, and eventually after some months doing the pysio/ultimate ninja training to get back in shape w/ alfreds help(bc by this point, alfred wouldve healed from his own injuries also after being hospitalised). the events of penguin s1 probably happen inbetween. by the time battison is ready to go out at night again, its probably coincides w/ the end of this season w/ the epic batsignal shot in the sky by the skyline. but...fair enough if you think that sounds stupid. its just a theory.

Grelk

me when a villain is a bad guy 😦

Fendifvce

i actually wanted vic to b apart of batman 2 buh i understand penguins reasonings uu gotta understand hes a mafia dude them niccas get tweaked out ovr the smallest shits

Fizzy

I need Batman to give penguin that Arkham knight continuous combo and it into a finisher for what he did to my boi vic😤😤😤

Fendifvce

penguin actually killed all 3 of his brothers worse in the comics !

xProKnockz

Already know before I watch sheera and lupa not gonna like this😭

DatBoi Lol

This shit literally disgusted me. I haven’t felt this bad from a show death since Rita’s death in Dexter. I hope Batman breaks this nigga in half.

PJ Rivera

Fantastic show, NGL I thought this was going to be some mid but nah this is PEAK

DatBoi Lol

I’ve been waiting on this reaction all day. Now I need to find some food first lol.

Gustavo

“There’s nothing standing in your way now” *Something in the way starts playing*

Jarron Taylor

I hope they don’t make a season 2 tbh, I want this to be a one off thing

mason zeo

Told yall he genuinely cared for Victor. That was the whole problem lol, he actually did. But thats a "weakness" so he had to go.

Jamaal Ellison

I said last episode i think he wants to the fuck his mother and I'm doubling down on that statement even more after this ending.

Sheraya san

To be fair he’s a bird! Not a pig.

Sheraya san

I do love that they used the show to not redeem him but remind ppl there are villains who are just awful ppl and there’s nothing more to it. Shout out to Sophia at least she ain’t dead so they left room for her come back. RIP to the true homie Vic

Earphone Jack

Oz was not lying when he said his mom was what kept him good. And now that she’s gone, he went full on villain psychopath. That man is broken and evil. A perfect villain origin story. I need The Batman Part 2 immediately.

gamerman1902

Imma need Oswald to get hit with that Arkham City combo expeditiously

Tejiri Ubiedi

Roshi is HEATED with that description 💀

King of New York

I've been waiting for this since Sunday night. I literally joked when Vic said "I've been with you the whole time." and was like "until now." Then Oz fucking killed him. Bruh. I called this in episode 1 with the Jason Todd analog but I literally forgot about it. I loved Vic. Goddamn man. I thought at the end where Penguin was in court saying he needs to be "different" and "clean", he was going to have his name changed from Cobb to Cobblepot to remove any ties he had to the mob and start with a new identity. Not as the poor gangster Oz Cobb, but the rich mob boss Oswald Cobblepot. This show was the best show of 2024 period. One of the best comic book TV shows I've ever seen. They did a fantastic job of making him a VILLAIN. Matt Reeves is 2/2 so far. Or technically 9/9. I can't wait until The Batman Part 2. They added so much depth to the universe that I'm kind of sad this isn't connected to the new DCU. Maybe they could still change that and say it takes place in the past. Peak. I could go on and on about the writing in this show but I'm too tired lmao. What a great use of the Rex Calabrese character, who appeared for like a year in the comics and then was never used. Earlier this year the Penguin stabbed an umbrella through his sons chest in the comics and killed him, so him killing Vic tracks.

Earphone Jack

Wow, I was not expecting Roshi and Sheera to cry at the scene of Oz killing Vic. Don’t have an issue with it though because Vic was the most lovable one on the show. That scene shocked me when I watched it Sunday night.

Savage Barbaren

Been waiting for this reaction so bad, cause when I see batman, ima need hum to perform some crazy mortal combat finishers

Yoxxhio

the victor thing killed 90% of the audiences affection for oz. now everyone is hype for batman to get him in the next movie

Earphone Jack

He did love Vic and that’s why he killed. Oz is a psychopath lol.

Dionte Mcginnis

I don’t think she suppressed her memory I think she just hid all of it from oz so he never knew how she really felt about him

Earphone Jack

I thought Oz was hallucinating, too but then I was like “Wait, is that Eve?” And then the BTS clip at the end confirmed it.

DatKid_Kaneki

yo the whole verse sliding on penguin for vick. i need 2 hr scene of the batman giving him the bane treatment ASAP

Yoxxhio

sheera to busy cracking jokes to pay attention. penguin did care about victor thats WHY he killed him, like are you even watching bro. there was a whole 1 minute dialogue about it.

ChrisM

I love it. HBO/MAX did not bitch up and try to make the villian a likeable character. Oz is evil, a monster, the devil and they stuck with it.

Omar

Oz the goat, man. I ain't feel sick in the stomach like this since the golf swinging scene in The Last of Us 2. I need Batman to put him in a full body cast.

DatKid_Kaneki

“did she suppress her memories” man yall watch too much anime😭😭

King of New York
>>155142807

For me I don't think that changed him at all. He was always psychopathic and evil. To him she's not even gone. He keeps her alive even though she begged him to kill her if she ever became a vegetable. He even has Eve cosplaying as his mom. Sick fuck.

GoldenBoy

At the end of the day Vic is a henchmen and a side characters to the main villian if Batman saw that boy it'd be like beating no more than fodder that works for the villian vic is like literally one of those henchmen you see in a Batman game this series basically flushed out and ggave us a look into one of there lives

derick ako
>>155143935

I don't think thats just an anime thing. People suppress their memories in real life all the time.

Jalan

Folks who think Batman’s didn’t do nothing. Remember this is Gotham so it’s probably a lot of crazy shit going on at one time that we don’t know yet or haven’t seen. Also remember his line “I can’t be everywhere”

DatKid_Kaneki
>>155143935

she always knew they was just making her relive every thought cause her mind is cooked. mr freak knows how to break minds

Djones

As sad as it was, I love the symbolism of his ID in the water mimicking his family dying in the flood. Victor was such a relatable and likeable character, for a moment I thought they let him live. I suppose he was gonna get betrayed by The Penguin eventually.

King of New York

"Bruce at home watching the news"💀 💀 💀 💀

Jaylen
>>155142704

yea hes so big that he had to be a flightless bird cuz he know damn well he not getting off the ground

Layton 🐐

We need more evil villains 😈 tired of all the anti heroes ngl

Skyye
>>155143706

A villain can be likeable. Think the word is "antihero" because he's not one

Divinerights

I think this ep also explained to roshi why he didn’t feel anything about going into the sewers as an adult. Oz simply does not care about his brothers death, it has had no bearing on his conscience.

Fendifvce

Oz finessn his way into politics like home lander is ultimate chess moves!

Siah

There was a Easter egg for the court of owls during the court scene the curtains are owl shaped

I VisiBomb I

I've always said that selfishness is truly an evil trait. Oz didn't do nothing for his ma, it was for himself all along, for his ego. he was like that from birth essentially.

Reckless Company

I knew it as soon as victor said he’s family I saw penguin face like NOOOO he’s dead 😭😭😭Batman beat his ass no mercy

Mr. Heyn

HOLY SHIT ive never ever seen roshi crying WTF thats a sss pull right here

Ginger Dwarf

Genuinely y'all the funniest reactors of all time.

Big Daddy Dre

What’s funny is everyone is praying Batman beat his ass but penguin is now untouchable since hes a politician now😂

Semaj Brown

Oz does care about Vic, which is why he killed him. If you pay attention to what he says to him. Oz says that the thing about family is they give you strength but they can also make you weak and he can’t have that right now(cause Vic said oz is like family and oz talked about Vic being there with him through the lowest times). He can’t have someone that can make him weak. The reason he killed Vic is cause he cared enough about him that he could be a weakness for him in the future.

TChang23

Hoping for a your lie in April trio reaction someday 🙏🏻

zacharie garondo

Nooo watching Vic standing up for himself and gazing up the penguin all episode to end up like that ! I hope Bruce give him the Im vengeance combo and then the bane back break combo

Chief Doodle

“Batman kill him” from Lupa made me laugh

Ethan Carson

bro the batman situation in this show is like how there's an avengers tower in insomniac spider man but they just never show up when an alien is plotting to conquer the world it's like WHERE TF ARE YOU?!

My

Bruh talk about a deal with the devil in the court room

Semaj Brown

The hardest part about watching their reaction to oz killing Vic is Sheera. The realization what’s about to happen. Hearing her start to break. The raspy breathing, her face starting to look sadder, then her actually crying. That made me so sad. Roshi also look like he got a little emotional. Made the scene hit even harder

TridonsTrident
>>155146074

Honestly I don't even think that's the main reason. He probably did care about him, but he also watched Vic do great without him, organize his escape, and convince the lieutenants to help him. Just like he said, everyone wants to be someone and they can't do that in someone else's shadow; he thought some day, Vic was gonna do that to him, so he felt he needed to take out the competition.

steezo jckson

ive never hated any iteration of joker as much as i hate oz right now

RZ

nah him stealing the money in the wallet after he killed Vic was the final straw for me lmao

Eric (Rec B.)

Best part of this show is how it keeps hitting you over the head that Penguin only cares about himself and he's going to do the worst shit for himself, but you still let your guard down enough as a viewer to let him fuck you up again and again. Amazing show, get his ass Batman

Semaj Brown
>>155146074

I’m just going off what Oz said directly to Vic as he killed him. You could be right

SirCapAlot

this man is sick and diabolical batman need fi come tump OZ in him rasss lol

Jim Beckworth

Sheera … you are too a villian 😂 you have picked yourself over helping out a compilation of times 😂😂😂😂😂😂

Adrian Neal

NAH sending Sofia back to Arkham is actually worse than death for her, Oz is insane

Sixaxis112

I don't know why, but I felt no emotion when Vic was dying. Maybe because it was so obvious that Oz was going to kill him from episode 1.

Dexter Blessed
>>155147245

I think that he might have stolen the money from the wallet because he wanted to make the murder look like a mugging. Of course, it also possible that he did that just to steal some more money.

$am

He killed Vic because he’s the closest person to him besides his mom and he sees that closeness as a weakness. Still a trash human though

Gavin fox

What did guys expect it’s the fking penguin 🐧 at the end of the day he always weasel his way out of any situations

Adrian Neal

Not the Lupagan kicking in 😭

My
>>155143300

Then the penthouse dance scene as the follow up. Barf

Adrian Neal

Oz lucky Bruce is young when he doing this shit cause the entire Bat Family needs to be doing this nigga greasy

Frederick

Again why are we surprised? It’s The Penguin. I appreciate that DCU is keeping it consistent that this is a villain show and everyone is pieces of shit. This is a 10/10 for me.

xProKnockz

Clayface at the end?

marii

seen somebody said victor gonna become cyborg 😭

BalenSeeks

Im not having fun anymore. GET ME OUT!!!!

Ricky Pereira

This last episode really made me think about how the whole season they hint at the fact that his mom ain’t like him. Like when his mom tells him to get off of her and shit. Sophia wasted her time with that whole play

GrandNubian
>>155147075

Exactly! Colin’s Penguin is more diabolical, sociopathic and evil than even Heath’s Joker.

Kingmakaii

You know it’s sad when you see one of the rare times this nigga roshi cry Amazing show 10 out of 10😭

Jazko

I still dont think Oz was manipulating Vic. Oz simply changed his mind when he realized Vic was too close to him. BUT WHY TF DID HE LOOK LIKE HE ENJOYED KILLING HIM

GrandNubian
>>155146074

Based on how we saw Oz still attempt to gaslight his mother when it was beyond obvious that she knew the truth, I think Oz has shown that he will say whatever he has to say in the moment so that he doesn’t have to admit to himself that he’s the villain.

GrandNubian
>>155144900

Oz simply has no conscience. He was more than ready to see his mom lose a finger just to avoid admitting something she already knew — then kept trying to gaslight her. Pure evil.

Jazko
>>155147075

I disagree Heath's Joker would probably unironically beat Vic to death with a crowbar

GrandNubian

As evil as Oz is, he still doesn’t represent a Gotham-wide threat during this series.

steezo jckson
>>155147075

yea but with joker it never feels personal it’s chaos for chaos sake penguin will pull you in close make you feel like he’s ready to change then off you

Chase
>>155143653

They all be joking though it’s fine. They’ll probably notice when they’re editing!

MidastheStallion

I think the main reason Oz killed Vic was that he wasn't useful anymore. Oz's priority is himself and everything else is a third concern at best. Based on what I know about him from the comics, that's right in line with what he does. He's a criminal psychopath, right and wrong are just words to him. It's also why he's lowkey Batman's biggest threat. He knows how to play the game.

Quel Hilfiger

Damn Roshi crying too 😭 aye that’s how you know the show did its job in making us despise this nigga

Nicolle B

I need Vic to be avenged.

kage Rodgers

Us the viewers “ yeah hello Batman….HEEELLLLLPPPP!!!”

Tejanoman k

nah bruh im done this sh depressing

Robertgill

Vic coulda been at peace with some cheeks

Fred_D3

Sal gettin a heart attack illustrated that oz can’t get a clean win, coz before that Sal was givin him the beats as a man probably twice his age

Josh

Day 65 of my campaign for a Mr Robot reaction.

Fred_D3

Penguin was acc gothams mayor in batman earth one. Just imagine being his opponent running for mayor & finding out about his Oedipus complex lmao that’s like Willy wonkas golden ticket

Fred_D3

I might pop a bottle of champagne in the theatre when Batman lands the first punch on oz in Batman part 2

SnailSpray

yall peep the owl shaped curtains in the court room

JotaroDrake

Yeah let’s send this nigga to Arkham

Gwyn

I need Batman to break every bone in the penguins body before sending him to Arkham for Sofia's turn. I can't believe how good this show was.

I VisiBomb I

i think its the first time i see an actual tear on roshi face thats actually crazy

Djones
>>155150014

i see it more akin to Homelander killing the shapeshifter to "rid the weakness within." Oz saw himself in Vic, he knows Vic would be loyal and ambitious, but that emotional connection would hinder his progress ig

Lezu

Penguin gets the forever hands from Batman.

DatBoi Lol

Just finished the reaction. Lupagan and Sheeragan teamed up at the perfect moment before Vic LOL

Rob Gene

This finale left me feeling sick and disgusted. We need the Batman ASAP! I know he doesn't kill, but I think we can make an exception this time. I'd go so far and say, the animated Penguin probably isn't even THIS evil. It just feels so damn personal.

SirRendorr

Bruce gotta shove an explosive batarang in penguins bum next movie

Imari

Praying he’s gets his ass whooped

Jigga Man

Justice for Vick. I can't wait to see Bat Breaker give this man the beats.

Benji

omgosh sheera's reaction literally broke my heart 😢 And you know its really sad when you get roshi tearing up lol Also lupagan at it again lool I didn't even think he would kill vic until he pointed it out. S-tier show and reactions!

GrandNubian

Praying on Penguin’s downfall in “The Batman 2”

Green Camero

He pulled Tony Snell numbers with those empty promises, he really is like his father.

Nico

I haven’t cried so much in one episode of television in a LONG while. 10/10 season Keep this universe going PLEASE

Medusa

I can’t think of any other show right now that has made a character as endearing to an audience as Vic. Like the amount of people that turned on Oz as a character for doing what he did is crazy to see. Bravo to the writers and bravo to the cast. This show needs to sweep the awards.

mal

rip victor i fuckin hate that he died

mal

best show i’ve seen this year tho

Davon Thomas

People really thought this show wouldn't end with Oz killing Vic?

Percy

I need batman to shatter his collarbone for starters. Jason Todd style.

Steve Harvey Dent

batman gonna put him in prison. you need redhood.

Tyriece

Here’s an interesting detail. Throughout the season, Eve has dressed up for Oz and others to be what they want her to be. We got the scene when Sophia was at her house with the wigs and the wardrobe. We also got her at the end with Oz. I didn’t peep till someone pointed out that Eve full name is Eve Karlo, which is interesting because one of Clayfaces names has been Basil Karlo. I think Eve is Matt Reeves adaptation of Clayface in this universe.

Caleb Okoro

How you produce 10/10 tv show of the year and also make a disaster like joker ??? HOW

JavonR92
>>155156416

Word I saw it coming after the very first episode. I even got comments on their older posts predicting it

jiggyj
>>155157239

bc they're made by completely different directors and studios? it's not like one guy makes all the Batman stuff that's not how it works lol

Pan Cakes

Ayy this is what villains do. be evil. i didnt fall for the story trying to make you feel bad for the guy one bit. from all the comics and media, the penguin has always been a sleezy evil villian.

PetersThimble

I do think he cared about Vic but Vic was too close and had too much information of everything Oz had done BEFORE he was 'clean' 🤷🏾‍♀️ he had to get rid of anyone who wasnt of immediate value to him and Vic just wasnt anymore after everything got sorted. Oz is a great villian because you know why he does what he does but its still awful to watch.

PetersThimble
>>155150014

Right, like Vic was only ever going to be a liability after this point. Not to say that Vic wasnt smart but its clear Oz was never looking for a partner in crime and the more he saw himself in Vic: the more he probs knew he needed to go asap

PetersThimble
>>155148017

Same, i was not expecting him to make it to the movies so it didnt surprise me when Oz killed him. Vic is a weakness to Oz as family, outside of his mom, his death was written the moment he didnt go with his gf to san fran

mal

“but she’s over here defending him at the same time” lupa her feelings as a mother are VERY CONFLICTED. She had 3 kids that she loves and one of her kids killed the other 2 kids. do you know how complicated your feelings have to be to deal with loving someone while also hating them for doing something THAT HORRIBLE? i’m not mad but im just saying it’s not hard to understand why she’s contradicting herself.

mal

that sigh and “fuck … fuck vic” was the realization like damn i actually have to kill this kid.

Sam

Amazing show, 10/10 from me. We NEED to see Oz get stomped though. Glad I wasn't the only one with tears when Vic was going out. That sucked.

Acronix

Was an incredible series. Had a feeling that Oz was gonna end up killing Vic at the end. Really had high hopes that we were gonna see Vic again in The Batman 2. But I look forward to seeing The Batman 2 and to see what’ll happen to Sofia if we’ll see her in the movie as well

Franklin Saint

Batman should do penguin dirty like in the Arkham city game 💀😭

Eduardo
>>155150014

i think in the inside the episode they mentioned that the real reason oz killed vic was because vic saw him at his lowest (breaking down bc of his mom) and oz's ego couldn't handle that

Franklin Saint

I believe Colin Farrell or Matt reeves said the penguin is gonna be in the Batman 2 an the Batman 3 and that he’s only gonna be in 5 or 6 scenes in the Batman 2 which tells me his downfall is most likely gonna happen in the Batman 3

GrandNubian

The Penguin: the Gaslight King

GrandNubian

The way they got us to be Team Penguin for the first 3 episodes and gradually showed us that Oz ain’t sh*t at all and absolutely needs to get packed up — that’s a freaking acting, writing, and directing MASTERCLASS. Bravo to ALL involved!

Isaac Cobbinah

Sheera's "why would he do that" broke my heart 🥲🥲

H A Y D E N

LESGO COBB THE GOAT RUTHLESS FR

Carlos

Batman gotta put Penguin in the ground. Bury him under the jail.

BlueMop91

I have no empathy for Oz Oreo big back a$$. 😡

Delinda Arts

yeah i need all of the bat family, alfred, Mr. Freeze, Joker, Clayface, Harvey Dent, Catwoman, and Commissioner Gordon to curb stomp Oz.

mal

59:26 sheera LMAOO😂😂

General Grevious

His whole “I’m just a kid from the city” act was only really paper thin and as the show went on we really got to see how terrible of a guy Oz really is. I already said this but I love that he’s a legitimate villian😂

mal

shawty a freak too for agreeing to dress up as that nigga mom

MidastheStallion
>>155150014

Kinda, but Oz doesn't like people in the conventional sense. Oz likes Victor the way most people like technology. It's great to have and you might have that piece of tech for years. BUT once you don't need it, for whatever the reason, you scrap it. Oz liked Vic sure but Vic was a goon, a loyal goon, but a goon nonetheless. He can always get another one of those especially where he's going.

IzzyB33

Bro on top of everything with Sofia and Vic, the stuff with his mother is also so wrong. Especially the Oedipus Rex of it all with that final scene with Eve. Disgusting

Kenny Lasser

Killing Vic was straight up my love for you is a weakness Sith behavior

Clinton the Bingethinker

Everyone who has the Arkham games: beat the fuck out of the Penguin for me. He took Vic’s money and tossed his ID into the water…such ultimate disrespect (though I get it, Oz has to cover his tracks, make it look like a mugging but the logic doesn’t make it any less diabolical). Sofia better be the reason why he gets taken down. Hope he gets confined to Arkham.

Felicia Williams

And he didn’t even kill Vic with a quick shot to the head. He took his time strangling him listening to Vic beg for his life knowing Vic thought of him as family. Yoshi had me dying with it’s all of us calling Batman. And now I am team Link.

Con D. Oriono

you'd be surprised how many people do not have a lock on their phones to be fair

Requiem_Phantom

A fucking 5/10! A fucking 5/10! For fucks sake, IGN! A joke! A fucking joke is what they are! They wouldn't know something good even if it slapped them in the face!

Franklin Saint

I love how they made oz such a irredeemable villain he’s in my top10 favorite villains of Batman but I think oz killed Vic because he would most likely be oz weakness and make oz vulnerable like he was with his mom but he still acknowledge vic and did thank Vic for everything and told him he couldn’t do it without him

Drake Rage

I definitely did not see that coming, lmao. For Penguin to be like "you my weakness Vic" *breaks neck*... I will say that it does show that Penguin didn't manipulate Vic, he did genuinely get close to him, which is why he killed him (Yes Penguin is a psycho Villain, lol). But that just makes me dislike Batman that much more. I never could get into Batman stuff even as a kid, because in Batman cartoons all these unhinged psycho villains kill a bunch of people, then Batman puts them in Arkham, they break out and kill a bunch of people again, then Batman puts them BACK in Arkham... never ending cycle.. Like I can't respect Batman for not just ending (killing) these villains 1 by 1 and actually make progress in making Gotham better, lol. Absolutely fantastic show though, from beginning to end.

Fuji

i feel like a whole jackass feeling bad for this nigga at any point of the show holy shit

Big Daddy Dre
>>155164737

The same could be said about any superhero i don’t know why it’s always used to discredited Batman lex Luther was finna sacrifice billions of lives just because he don’t like Superman and supes let this nigga become the president 🤦🏾‍♂️

Big Daddy Dre
>>155162315

Wasn’t Vic called him “family” n he said “fuck” i knew what time it was🤦🏾‍♂️

Kareem Davis

Oz might be one of the most fuvked characters to ever be written💀💀💀

Damn Oz won the electoral college and the popular vote.

Sorry killing Vic just detoured me from watching anything penguin in the future , fuck this

MelloStolello
>>155166264

Well good thing it's the end of the series then lmao. Just look forward to seeing Bats beating the everloving shit out of him in the next movie.

Why this character Sofia got me licking my screen at 15:22

funny thing, clayface is now a member of the batfamily for some years now. he geniuly turn his coat

BabyD

I don’t know what to say. I became a big fan during Jujutsu Kaisen and started binge watching all their reactions to my favorite shows. this definitely is one of the best reactions I seen!💯 I loved watching this vid, straight 10/10. What really got me was seeing Roshi cry for the first time at the Vic death scene. Coming in I was ready for lupa to cry but not roshi and seeing how emotional sheera got too. Honestly made me sad for Vic all over again 🥲 But them cracking jokes at the end made me happy asf 😭😭 Can’t wait for the next show I enjoy with these 3 💯👏🏽👏🏽🌹

Des Bethea

Wow. Oz is a piece of shit, man.

Cam Kaneki

Lupa and sheeras combining right before the saddest scene of the episode was not on my bingo card.

T

Series was fire. But, damn. Vic’s ID sinking in the water hurts with his backstory. If we get a season 2 with Oz’s rise in politics, I’m here for it. “GO GET HIM” 💀

Mitch

Brother, are you really telling me we gotta wait until the end of 2026 to watch the Penguin get his shit rocked? smh

Rawfish36

Saying she deserves that for not murdering her son is crazy.

He threw Vic's id into the water bruh. Vic's a john doe now. He didn't even honor his mom's wishes. What a monster bro 😭 Hope Batman beats that ass no diddy

There’s dental records. But with everything going on in Gotham, they definitely won’t go through the trouble. There’d also be Oz’s DNA under Vic’s fingernails, but Gotham PD’s murder clearance rate is probably abysmal.

Lamaree Jackson

I thought Sofia would kill him but Vic dying was like the one thing I knew would happen. It goes with the genre. Good guy in the life trying to be bigger and seen always gets fucked over. Christopher Maltesanti, Ray Liotta in Goodfellas, Franklin Saint, Cain in Menace II Society. It just had to happen

Wiz

10/10 ep, 10/10 reaction

Lamaree Jackson

I’m just glad Cristin Milioti actually got to do some phenomenal acting and wasn’t just unceremoniously killed off as soon as she joined the story (looking at you How I Met Your Mother)

56:20 the quietest you’ll ever hear lupa speak i stg

i genuinly couldnt care less about any dc/marvel superhero / villain movies or tv shows but this show was just phenomenal.

Remember in the movie Batman technically lost against the Riddler, so the city was flooded. He's probably either training, healing, or is involved in the court of owls for the next movie.

RYC

Sofia: the real anti-hero of this series imo

RYC

People don't understand the point of sal catching a heart attack when fighting penguin. Mother Nature literally gave him an open goal, and Oz was still shit talking. He's so in need of validation and feeling like a big man, it's the perfect way to remind Oz to humble himself. But he couldn't take the hint because, again, he's so needy like his mother said in the flashback.

Lying to his mom who he wants to be alive and keep alive and trying to gas light her is one thing. If he’s gonna kill Vic anyways, makes more sense to be honest with him in his final moments.

PhaedrusRumple

He killed Vic because that would be the only thing left that someone could use to get to him. Vic did say that Oz was family to him.

nerro91

YO WE GOT SHEERA AND ROSHI CRYING BUT NOT LUPA THATS A RARE SIGHT

Robertgill

Its usually lupa crying not roshi and sheera

Richard Grayson

Watching this make me realize Roshi Justice might just work in Gotham.

Leon

That's sucks with Vic but that was the last thing someone could do to hurt him also Vic could have turned against him too like the other ppl in 2nd command did to their bosses

Derek

roshi: batman!!!! hes on 56th street took me tf out lmaooo

Destiny Hernandez

🤣🤣 Lupa yelling for Batman to get penguin has me dying

Aggtown_817

Idk if I took this the wrong way but Eve isn't there by choice I felt like you can see in her eyes she's scared and she's basically hostage like Vik was in the beginning. top teir show up there with Shogun crazy IGN gave them a 5. Someone gotta pull the plug on these bs reviewers

Fizzy
>>155164481

Comparing Franklin saint to the penguin makes no sense lol 🤣🤣🤣🤣

Cam

There were tons of Oz defenders who were rooting for him over Sofia. They’re dead quiet now. Yall should have listened to Sofia. She was the real anti-hero

John Cedar
>>155213070

Lol no she blew up a ton of innocent people (a lot were probably already homeless) just because of her 1v1 feud that zero civilians in Crown Point care about. And she's the richest person in Gotham after Bruce, burning down a house worth millions that she could have sold to fix the damage she just caused to innocent people. And she left that little girl in a group home after orphaning and threatening her. She's not an antihero at all, she's just another villain 😂

Tyrese Marshall
>>155191035

She's just less villainous than Oz but she definitely isn't an anti hero, all her goals were self serving

Offw0rlder

Bruh upset ain’t the word I turned the shit off for a bit 😒 Gonna run back The Batman just to see Battinson press him again Oooooh you gon get yours you fat crippled bitch 😤😤😤

Offw0rlder

The return of pain day it seems

It can be good writing, he can be a great villain, & we can still be disgusted by his actions lmao I got morals breh the last 2 eps were beyond what I was prepped for. I'm not finna watch a Penguin S2 but this next Batman movie's gonna hit differently

von

I think he killed Vic because he loved him. It was his way of shedding his last weakness. Because his mother’s essentially dead. I think he only has her like that for the sake of his ego. And to say he fulfilled his promise to have her live over the Gotham skyline

Abdul-Rahman Lawal

23:50 Roshi is enjoying this😂😂😂So am I 😂😂😂😂😂

Mr. K
>>155198314

I know he reads the comics more, Probably used to the comics more so he can expect it, that's my guess

Danger Tomato

First season of true detective 👌

Mack

As soon as Oz was going to let Sofia cut off his moms finger instead of admitting what he did, I knew we were watching a generational evil character. As soon as he sat down with Vic, Im like “hes going to kill him aint he? Please no” Real great job by the writers to write home that Penguin is an evil vile creature. Excellent season of TV.

Mack
>>155244908

I think thats true but I also think that he never intended to share the throne with Vic. I think once he stopped having use for him, he convinced himself it was best to kill him.

von
>>155244908

He was never gonna share the throne. Vic was his protege and number 2. That’s been their relationship after a certain point.

Mack

Oh and shout out to Christin Miloni as Sofia. She really was in her bag the entire show. Fantastic villain. Hope she makes an appearance in the Batman sequel.

Wes App

"Batman please!" lmao

WockWizard

I need a 3 hour full length film of Batman with healing powers just straight hammering oz over and over and then healing him then beating him over and over again

WockWizard
>>155213070

There needs to be a media literacy exam requirement these shows need to implement before letting you watch it because that was the dumbest shit I done read all week

WockWizard

Damn bro haven’t seen Roshi shed tears since a silent voice, this was different 😭💔

Cam
>>155213070

That’s what an anti-hero is…. So point still stands. She likely did kill some criminals and a few homeless, and she would have put a lot more people in danger if she sold bliss as an operation. Thats why her main goal was to leave at the end. She literally went through a hero’s journey from wrong actions to realizing the truth at the end, while Oz seeped further into a dark villain role.

Cam
>>155213070

You talk about media literacy. How about grammar and literacy? “Dumbest shit I done read” 😭

Sham3ful

Ong you'd have to fuckin kill my ass before I get put back into Arkham of all places, the way I went from crying to celebrating seeing the damn Bat symbol, like I need him to hit Oz with the same combos he was using on grunts in the Arkham trilogy

Ryan NYC

I'm not worried, Batman gonna get his ass! Eve not letting him slide

Ejay 火

This get back that Bruce is finna have for the viewers is gonna be vicious asf that better be the first scene in the Batman part 2 him cracking down on penguins shit and showing him who tf really runs shit in Gotham 😭 cuz ain’t no way Vic just died and Sophia out here IN ARKHAM AGAIN like nah Bruce BEAT HIS ASS!

sotonye ogan
>>155171883

kinda did, neglecting the fact that he killed your sons is crazy at least turn him to the police but gotham prison aint shit anyways lol.

sotonye ogan

The best character development to epic villainy i have seen from a comic book show, random stray but yall already know how Marvel finna handle this if it were them makes you appreciate it more on it standing on business. no more "misundertood" or sympathy bs leggo.

sotonye ogan
>>155163241

he had pour his heart out to Vic so choking slowly was the convenient option to dish it all at once. fuckery

sotonye ogan

2026? Imma need that Batman movie to be 4 hours dawg😭

Cam
>>155213070

You conveniently get caught up in the term ‘hero’. It’s obvious to onlookers that you are upset because I’m right. You didn’t see Victor being killed and you saw it as a betrayal. Likely because you’re a 15 year old boy who likes edgy “sigma” edits of antiheroes and you’re mad this one didn’t pan out. Sofia was tortured for 10 years and the only person who was there for her was her brother. Who Oswald killed. Oswald was the one who orchestrated her even being placed in Arkham. He was the real villain the whole time. And who was trying to kill him? Sofia. She even wanted to leave at the end as she realized she was playing Oz and her father’s evil game. She killed people who hurt her and she regretted it. Oz killed people he loved and felt nothing. But get caught up in definitions and you miss the point of the show. As the show makes a powerful statement of male comic book fans and their relationships with supposed male anti heroes. It’s perfect

Xyro

Imma need Bruce to run Penguin’s fade. He can’t keep getting away with this 🙄

John Cedar
>>155213070

Sofia is a bad fucking person, she's a villain in the comics and in this show. She did not care about ANY civilians whose lives she fucked up this whole season. If you want a female anti-hero in DC look to Poison Ivy or Catwoman. An antihero would not threaten a child's life to keep them quiet 😂 She literally repeated the cycle of violence that her father did: she put someone innocent in an institution to cover up her crimes.

Phroug

I was with Oz 100% until the brothers reveal, then I was with him 75%, and then the last 10 fucking minutes of this shit made me despise him with all my fucking might

Narutofreak94

This is how you write a villain but I’m so mad 😭😭😭😭😭

Taijen

I paused the scene where he looked at Victor's ID. It looks like Vic is even younger than I thought. He was only 17 at BEST. I know some people will say that Vic chose his fate but ultimately what would you expect a 17 yr old who lost their family and lives in Gotham as a poor minority to do. The average kid would do what he did likely.

Zaza
>>155213070

@Cam You wrote all that shit but you're just wrong bruh 🤣

Samke Dladla

This Batman universe is cooking.

CAM

1: Sofia was looking GOOOOD 2: FUCK OZ 3: FUCK OZ 4: Vic should've left with his gf 5: Oz’s mom raised a demon 6: Eve is also sick 7: Need Batman to *ask* some questions 👊🏾 8: Amazing show but damn

Leo

This show was immaculate probably show of the year even though I haven't seen arcane or squid games yet. Colin deserves an Emmy and James Gunn should put Matt reeves in charge of his batman in fact might as well keep Pattison. The penguin was a true sociopath from beginning to end and Victor deserved better but I have to say if I was Oz I would've done the same thing they literally showed us it's dog eat dog. Oz outplayed everyone forget batman beating him up this villain needs a bullet I can see him already trying to worm his way in with Bella. Sidenote Sofia was looking amazing this whole episode besides Arkham she too fine I hope she gets her comeuppance.

Daniel Fernandez

I love sheera but the “uhhhhh” after after everything she says frustrates the hell outta me 😂😂 “what are you doinguhhhhhhhh” “so stupiduhhhhhh” 😂😂

DimTurtle

Penguin does become mayor in a couple comic book storylines and he also runs for mayor in Batman returns

Elijah wyatt

Slide for Victor, slide for Rebecca from cyberpunk

Bobby Robinson

Naaaaaah this nigga OZ need to goooooo someone call Batman fucking please 😭😭😭😭😭 Big RIP on VIC

Oliver

1:06:35 Them actually screaming for Batman to Help is too funny i can't LMAO Ozz sent Sofia to Arkham twice even though he is the one belonging there
