They cut a line of dialogue from the Manwha that I think goes hard af and should've been kept in. At the beginning when the healer chick is telling Jinwoo not to be nervous, she says "If the Mages get attacked, it's the Tank's fault. If the healers get attacked, it's the raid team's fault. And if the porter gets attacked, it's the whole guild's fault". It's a cool line that shows how well put together this guild is, and how everything that happens around Jin Woo is unprecedented.

For Cha-Hae In, her constitution is that the scent of mana is fairly disgusting to her. The more mana someone or something has, the nastier it smells. So, as expected, higher ranking hunters smell like moldy garbage in a sense.

I mean when you think about it….yeah I think so, jinwoo is “the player” his purpose is to level up. So “the system” rigs the gates with stronger monsters, he needs to fight them to level up… we just don’t know why he has to……….yet..😉

I respect this team wholeheartedly, the captain especially. Unlike the double dungeon group where they sacrificed the weakest. These guys acknowledged the fact that they as the stronger ones have a duty to protect the weakest that being Jinwoo. And the captain definitely deserves some props, we learned that he’s trying to make a name for himself and still decided to retreat for the safety of his team.

They didn't explain the red gate properly earlier but they didn't even grade it right in the first place. The association made a decent amount of mistakes and slip ups just out of pure ignorance and hubris. It wasn't even a C rank dungeon it was an A rank dungeon before it even turned into a red gate.

The anime didn’t do a good job explaining it but some people are sensitive to mana and it smells bad to them and since hunters emit mana they reek to Cha but Jinwoo doesn’t have that smell

So Jinwoo got his stealth skill last season, from defeating that one B rank assassin who was killing prisoners who were volunteering in the dungeon last season. It was off a rune stone he dropped upon death, yes, hunters drop loot when they die lol at least loot Sung Jin woo can use.

The mage that caught him using stealth probably thinks that the current plan is perfect because Sung Jin Woo can use stealth to slip out when the fight begins. There's no way she thinks that one dude can any difference in this upcoming fight, nor would she expect someone being payed as a porter to risk his life when he was told that he should save himself.

There are other characters like this as well. I love the S-ranks in this show cuz they all manifest their abilities much differently than eachother. The White Tiger guild leader for example is a “warrior” but as we have seen a glimpse of already, his abilities manifested in a much more “transformative” way.

Im almost positive the red dungeon was not A-rank. It was originally C-rank then high B-rank at best, which was still deadly. In this setting guilds typically need to send a full squad of members equal to the gates rank, plus at least one person of a rank higher. If it was A-rank then the white tiger guild master would never have said they even had a chance. They sent a single A-rank in with a few B-ranks and some stragglers even lower than that. Thats my thought process at least. Im not sure if they even ever give us a concrete answer for what rank that gate was though.

He’s also aware of the fact that their group is not equipped for this dungeon. They mentioned it a little but High Orcs are particularly strong A-rank monsters. It’s why they were so confused to see them there. The dungeon was originally read as a low A-rank, yet High Orcs are very strong A-rank monsters and therefore should not be present. The whole situation stunk to high heaven which he seemed to pick up on.

It’s bad luck. The system isn’t influencing gates afaik and it’s a misconception they never explain outright. If you remember back to the C-rank gates that he had to clear with his lil butt buddy, they never show anything crazy happening in any of those dungeons.

The problem is that this dungeon is literally owned by the guild he’s helping. It’s also the “strongest” one at that (in korea) because it has two S-ranks instead of the usual one (usually the guild master) in the rest. At this point, it’s fair for him to be wary of making an enemy out of the strongest korean guild. He doesn’t yet know how he scales compared to other S-ranks and therefore can’t justify possibly having to fight one or even two.

So at first I thought the pacing was going to ruin this season a little to be honest, four arcs in 13 chapters is crazy to be fair. Im glad to see that it seems like the final arc of this season is going to be at least a few episodes. Which is great because the big fight of that arc is about to be NASTY. Its by far one of my favorite fights in the series.

Yes. The demon castle arc was already shortened by a fuck ton. We got a single episode to see Jinwoo climbing 75 floors or however many it was. Two boss fights that both happened in the span of less than 20 minutes. Surely you can see why I was worried a little.

What I don't like is that they are cutting the already small personality that Jin Woo has. He shows like no emotions in the anime. In the Manwha he at least tried to look like he struggled on the bosses. They also just stopped showing the system notifications like Level Ups or when he enters a dungeon, don't know why....

I like to think that Jinwoo doesn't help initially because 1. he kinda wants to hide his power level and 2. instakilling everything doesnt really do much for the A/B rank hunters in terms of learning. Getting carried blows
