So yeah there are rooms that are as small as this in seoul especially that seoul is expensive. The same way how New York is, having small apartments because it’s too expensive. Remember the room of the mask man in Squid Game season 1 when his younger brother “the detective” was looking for him. He went into his brother’s (the mask man) apartment where he found the squid game calling card and the room was small as shit too.

Just something for thought, idk how South Korea's policies, laws, and procedures go for people with mental health conditions. But they have a way of doing things and the U.S. has a way of doing things. So i think the reason why the landlord lady was not "protecting" him when the officer came about the cats is because she knows he has a mental health condition that would protect him from getting punished. They may slap him on the wrist for killing the cats because there's something"wrong with him". Thats my thoughts. If anyone knows anything about SK's mental healthcare system, please educate me.

Maybe because you don't understand the tone the MC's friend is using so you think he's a nice guy but it's pretty condescending. His character pisses me off whenever he opens his mouth. From his introduction you can tell he's a guy who's full of himself and wants to show off to his friend who isn't at his level (money wise) when he's a guy running a company on one floor not a multimillion-dollar company that he pretends it is. Same for the gfs boss, equally condescending. Also the guy who killed the detective in the car and our killer aren't a thing, the killer just has a thing for calling his protentional creations "babe/honey" lol, though the actor did say his character was in love with the MC to an unhealthy degree.

Mental Illness is bad in SK. The whole "shame to the family name" thing. It is something to be treated rather than understood. They are not seen as people. The policewoman probably has little to no training on how to handle someone like that. Or is just choosing to ignore his mental illness to do her job.

Yeah, one kdrama they watched, "Its okay to not be okay" is a more modern show. The setting or like basis for the writing for this show might be more 2000-10s Korea archaic (like how young justice is based on the original teen titans comic, where wally west is super weak). Kinda like how all those old american horror had sanitoriums and asylums before mental hospitals.
