I've been complaining about this for years. There are so many stories he has that he needs to be an adult to happen. Also always having him be a kid and everybody else be an adult changes the dynamic of any arc they adapt. I hate it.

Yeah a lot of his iconic stories are from his college years onwards. Another thing is that because of the constant forcing him to be a teenager now the average non comic book reader thinks he’s always a kid. It’s why the new ultimate spider-man series by Hickman is so refreshing Finally Spider-Man who’s actually a grown man

I think it’s similar to the explanation for why he lost to Captain America in Civil War. He’s way stronger and faster than Daredevil but he’s still a less experienced fighter and doesn’t quite know how much or how little he needs to hold back his strength.

Yeah but in that fight cap had to drop a 4 ton plan connector on him to win it's not like a normal dude throwing normal punches. Cap is a super soldier. I feel like putting him on Daredevil level is just insulting to his strength and that fight.

As a former comic reader, I think it's dumb to expect people to know a character immediately, especially in a very different universe like this one. In fact I think it makes it better if you don't know who Lonnie is so that you don't immediately write him off as a villain and can have the genuine shock like Lupa did last episode.
