Yeah its 3 cours so probably another 24 episodes. There is also an epilogue volume with 4 double length chapters so they might do a special episode like Ryusui and that would finish it off.

The end of cour 1 with 2 more left to go (It's 3 cours Roshi). I'm just glad to know Dr. Stone will be fully animated as a story. I remember how surprising it was for Senku to leave the Perseus crew behind but it makes a lot of sense. The Americans aren't just looking to kill them they want to rebuild humanity too (Xeno assumed it'd just be easier to control them with Senku gone). So Brody would be more than accommodating for the manpower.

I haven't read the manga and want to stay blind, so IDK if this would even work, but anime movies are a growing trend lately, so I wonder if they'll try to adapt the final chapters / epilogue as a movie. In my opinion, a special would be preferable, as movies take forever to reach streaming.

@_monjiro If you want a timeline of age here's Senku's as a benchmark. Senku and Taiju were 15 at the start. Petrification starts... After Awakening Senku and Taiju survive in the wild and make revival fluid for a year 16...(1 year) Senku integrates with Ishigami Village and canonically celebrates his birthday so another year passed 17 (2 years) Senku and Kingdom of Science take a year into Autumn to create the Perseus so 18...(3 years). And currently the voyages from Treasure Island and going to America has been only been 2 months overall. So 3 years at least have passed.
