Naiz

(I know this random😂) Y’all should check out blood of Zeus, It’s fire.

Aks 321

"YOU" went out sad imo, the ending really could have been way better

PAM

52:06 “Zero accountability,” kind of like Ted Bundy. Even on his last day, he always had excuses and a disturbing fanbase.

CCComics

The ending Joe needed behind bars, yellow brick road is always a good final episode theme worked well here and the boys

Kale

Honestly I still don’t know how it lasted this long, I feel like it should’ve ended after love or even after last season. I think they just genuinly couldn’t deal with a large amount of the audience still not understanding Joe or how terrible he truly is and they just didn’t want to try for another season or more just for the same people to probably still not get the message unless they explicitly say or show it over and over. Considering how Penn Badgley talked about the ending and people still defending Joe even with everything he’s done he himself certainly didn’t want to keep going longer 😭

GoddessHex

eh IDK about the ending, I like that it ended with beck in a way since we started with her, I did not like that Kate was alive at all and for her to have a happy ending essentially is a no for meeeeee, also Maddie having a happy ending didn't bother me as much just weird that I guess she took her sisters place and everything was fine with that? lol still don't like Bronte regardless but overall I feel that they could have done a better ending but that's just me lol still enjoyed the ride and I like that Joe is now forever bored and unhappy now with his miserable thoughts :)

dead space

I’m okay for what happened to Joe I just don’t know how kate and Bronte survived

Joey boi

Free my 🐐

Prxj3ct

Kate should of died and im fine with bronte surviving but her catching up to joe while also getting past the police that were literally circling him doesnt make sense.

Delgado

I agree Roshi, Joe's power scale is questionable. one moment he's dropping bodyguards, next he is struggling with no fight experience Bronte/Kate

Smitty Werbenjägermanjensen

Ngl I just didn't like the ending as much as i hoped. So much writing was stupid imo. Kate wasn't a great person either so I feel like she shouldn't have gotten away scott free

Shiori Hyuga

When are y'all gonna drop your skincare routine?

Bria A.

I hope I can explain this in a way that makes sense, but like Roshi, I really dislike that the entire ending hinges on a girl we just met. Yes, I know that in a sense every season is "a girl we just met", but I mean...at least they became constants that followed through in different seasons. Most of everything relied on Bronte, and contributions from past characters / victims were so minor, especially in the finale. I would've preferred everything past the bookshop fire to be an epilogue, or honestly everything past the cage. It's not like they were really following the books past a certain point, so they could've killed him, or just made it more impactful overall. I do love that this is his personal nightmare and basically all of his victims were revealed, but I just wish they'd went about it differently. Him confessing on that wiretapped call after Henry hung up and his hacker friend selling him out to the cops, for example. I guess this is just me loving a good revenge tale but it just fell flat, personally. I would've preferred a messier ending if it meant his victims got to pack him up lmao.

Jamaal Ellison

Yeah, it totally went down like I thought it would. Joe could've croaked or done time. I'm fine with that, but Kate and Brontë lived? This whole season felt rushed; it's like someone upstairs just wanted it over with. Straight up activism writing, yes let's monologue to the serial killer about his misogynistic tendencies.

CurriedCocoa

ngl. kinda wish he was dead broh. He murdered a lot of people who didn't deserve death.

Whief yuh

Kate and Bronte surviving was a little too much and it would've helped the story more if they both died for the cause. I'm also a little confused on how bronte was able to call the cops with a broken screen and messing up the numbers but oh well. I would've preferred if both kate/bronte died and joe either got arrested still after a final showdown with the police, or he knows theres no escape and decides to take his life after he imagines his mom/henry in the woods telling him to stop the cycle and stop hurting people. We needed a more powerful ending and I just feel like they didn't even legitimately try and give us something that'll keep us talking. It felt like a very generic and poorly created ending. I'm not even upset with the ending of him in jail, but it just felt ultra forced. Maybe they'll dexter it in 5 years or something, but i doubt it. 7-7.5 season and it could've been a 8-8.5 if they let kate/bronte die for the cause.

Vyzarde

He wanted death, the best punishment for him is the isolation that he craved to escape.

CurriedCocoa

You know what? Truuuu. He will suffer for a long time. I'm just pretty set in the belief that Joe Goldberg had everything he ever wanted with Love Quinn, and after he justified killing her, there was no saving a rabid animal like him. I see your point fs, tho!

CurriedCocoa

I think everyone underestimated how DisLiked Reagan was, and that shit is forever hilarious to me. She was over there like, "Maddie NOBODY cares you've been gone." And we're all like "... that's crazyyyy 👀"

Vyzarde

Yeah in a way Love was kind of who Joe thought that he was, someone who truly only killed for love or out of just being angry and having those issues and not for the thrill. Joe on the other hand was devolving into a full psychopath this season which is why I really love how they concluded it.

Darian Hawkins

I feel if they want to continue they can do something with the son Kinda have him come in terms being a son of serial killers (love and joe). But Joe is a cooked life with no parole He can make a cameo in prison If they do something.

Darian Hawkins

I love how Joe asked himself (How did I become this person) It Reminded me how he was in season 1 on how he said he doesn't kill people. And it seems like he's actually wondering how he became so delusional.

GuntherBv

i hate how the show never brought back his mom and brother again

Darian Hawkins

when Joe says (Aren't we a product of our environment) I understand why he says that MIND YOU I'M NOT EXCUSING WHAT HE DOES!!! you gotta remember Joe killed his father at a very young age, rejected by his mother, put in foster care, Showed violent tendencies and no one helped him, and got put into a cage by the book owner. BUT sheera is right he could have gotten help on his own.

kingBD

I get that the bad guy shouldn’t have good endings but damn like this?😂

Nigel Douglas

ngl they nerfed the hell out of joe. season 1 joe, if she pulled that gun on him point blank, he woulda weaved and wrestled it from her hands. not back up into her effective rangebro was literally undefeated in all of his battles.

Ayanda Mpofu

The last season had it's flaws but still enjoyed the perfect ending for Joe. Glad i was apart of this reaction journey. Goodbye my goat Joe Goldberg.

Nigel Douglas

he didnt murder love quinn. that was self defense. they gotta get their convictions right now

Frederick

Yeah we definitely could’ve done without Bronte. I’m the show is done

Reign

kate got off wayyyy to easy for all the shit she’s involved in. just some burns is crazy

Lily Rose

I agree, it wouldve been nice to see the women we already knew instead of new characters taking him down.. like there's people from joes past even who they couldve used instead of a brand new girl that wants to avenge beck? they weren't even that close, she was just her professor

Lily Rose

Joe was completely unhinged and the villain this entire season because last season his mind cracked and he fully embraced the fact that he's a blood thirsty demon

Tbdovan

"You: New Blood"

Lily Rose

dickless joe alone in a cage, im satisfied

Valor Morghulis

The way they look bored is fucking sending me😭😭😭

Travis James

20:10 not sheera smiling at joe's gestures lol. I feel like she would fall for Joe too even after she knows what he is

Ilya Hendzel

When Joe at the ends looks at the camera and says “ maybe the issue is you” he speaks to us watchers. We as a society are intrigued by true crimes and with Joe we always forgave him for things he has done because we all hoped he would become better and gave him chance after chance for redemption. So at the end he says that we, watchers are the issue for his behavior!

rickie woodson

Bronte is crazy. When you accept that, you arent confused by her crazy behavior.

Franklin Saint

I like mostly everything especially Joe getting lock up in prison but I’m not a big fan of Kate and Brontë surviving I can’t tell which one was more bull shit Kate or Brontë surviving, I feel like after Joe kills Brontë in the water he runs on foot while in his boxers lol shortly after the cops find Joe and surrounding him and captured him I would rather have that in my opinion

B23

joe got shot in the dick and lonely and in prison forever.. im satisfied

Shawnii

the only things that i hated in the end was kates and brontes fake deaths and that fact that joes mom didnt come back in some way. also woulda preferred joe dying instead

Destiny Hernandez

😭😭 brooo I was so scared Bronte really died and Joe was fr going to get away like this man should’ve not have this much armor plot to begin with. Also maybe bronte got Kate out first before going for Joe since Joe was still foggy in that fire scene. 😅 but yea how she survived was so random

DailyDoseof Mugen

It’s HEAVILY implied in S1 & S2 that Joe killed his mother. So that’s probably why

Co

Roshi, you misunderstand Bronte's character: Bronte's character wasn't written poorly. She went with Joe to the cabin to get answers about her friend, Beck and return her voice through Beck's book. She couldn't have done that if she called the cops or killed Joe any earlier. It wouldn't have made sense for her to ask Joe about Beck and how he killed her without holding him at gunpoint in a secluded area. This is who she was since the moment we met her. Someone on a mission to find justice for her friend, Beck. That's why she broke into Mooney's in the first place. So, it makes sense. Now, is that what any sane person would have done? Probably not. Normal people probably would've let Joe die in the fire and then went home. But she isn't normal and that's fine.

Co

I actually think this is one of my favorite episodes for the clever direction they took. For the whole season, Joe has been the narrator. He has been the main character. We only see the story through his eyes. That's why when he kills people, it's more of an action/drama. The murder scenes are well-written and all, but it's more of an action murder. But in this last episode, Bronte is the main character. She is the narrator. We see the story through her eyes. So, when we see Joe try to kill her, it's no longer an action killing. It's something out of It or the Shining. It's horrific and makes us fear Joe. For the first time in the series, we aren't on Joe's side. We are Joe's victims. The perspective change was really well done from a writing perspective. I loved the show and you have to give it credit for some of the cool stuff they've done. 9/10

T

Yeah I agree with roshi about adding bronte. She wasnt needed at all in the story and I feel like they couldve just used the other exes and women he met to wrap things

EnragedFliqpy

Idk who we is lmao, I wanted that man dead

Sean Taylor

Ahh yes my goats can stop using this slot on this washed show, finna tune into that tangerine shi yall dropped.

Joey boi

Was waiting for Ellie to come back somehow

Andres Holguin

Sheera: "how am i supposed to kick you when you're down" Roshi: "Easy just kick him" 😭😭 I love these two

naomi

show fell off after love died

ShaquanVirse

show should've ended last season tbh

Kencool

With her throat slit?

Kencool

Obviously they weren't talking about you specifically.

stilespulsar

roshi 2025 ":easy you kick him:

Just Gene

When I saw this episode the first time I thought it was fucking stupid. But going on thinking about it, while I still think Louise/Bronte was irresponsible, a lot of what happened works perfectly. She ends up getting just about the perfect justice for everyone involved. Beck gets her book republished without Joe's taint, the world learns of all Joe's deeds with Love, and the women that survived Joe get to keep going on living, knowing that Joe is suffering the worst punishment for him. He'll no longer get to experience that rush that he chases from love/obsession, and he's facing his childhood trauma for the rest of his life.

Bret Mileski

i didnt like the ending, maybe its just me but I hope people enjoyed it

Jigga Man

Bro can't jerk it, so that's a positive. He's still alive. He still has a son. He still has fans. With all the shit Joe has put people through in these 5 seasons.. he got off incredibly light. He doesn't even seem phased by the isolation much, he still has his books and really this is more like a rehabilitation for Joe because he can't kill and just gets to read books for the rest of his life.. it's almost his dream actually.

joe

i’m ngl i was first very disappointed and skeptical with the leaked images of joe getting arrested and put to jail (yall know which ones im talking about since everyone likes to spoil). however the last scene made me actually like it in the end. i still think bronte and kate should’ve died REALISTICALLY cuz wtf ain’t no way bruh. i feel like this season was very back and forth, so many weird and super dumb decisions, but there were moments where i was all over it. i give this season like a solid 6.8/10. idk why but it feels like the creator has very much changed the narrative of the story in a way. there were a lot of inconsistency this season with joe’s story and the side characters. obviously we all wanted joe dead or locked up, but characters like kate not facing any repercussions is insane to me. she was scared cuz of the whole children scandal thing she did, but now that means nothing. im still gonna say this till the end KATE STARTED THIS! she literally relapsed joe and somehow was shocked he started having itchings to kill again. her character to me had a huge downfall. as for bronte her character was trash imo this season, her character was only about beck which was dumb.

joe

this episode was dumb cuz of the whole bronte thing and the weird survivals, but MAN that scene of joe going after bronte was PEAK! the way they shot looked incredible so hats off to them. also i wish we would’ve gotten a couple more minutes of joe in jail but whatever.

Franklin Saint

Would have better imo if the show ended last season for personal

Franklin Saint

Honestly looking back at it Joe doesn’t seem phased at all even though he claims it’s his worst punishment it’s probably because he reads his books (one of his favorite things to do )and has a crazy cult fanbase that’s giving him love (which he desires the most) through fan letters I wouldn’t be surprised he started getting getting visitors and phone calls too from them imo they should have just took him out

joe

kate and bronte were the worst characters for me ngl.

SakuraBlossom

lol @Sheera, my comment about Kate going back and forth about murder wasn’t in defense of Joe. You must not have read the whole thing. I know that he would have killed regardless but that was besides the point. Kate would change her mind about murder based on how convenient it was to her. She’d be fine with it when it would help her and condemn it when it didn’t. I was pointing out her hypocrisy specifically. Not saying that Joe would be fine without Kate. I just wasn’t fucking with her hypocrisy.

Bria A.

Ellie is Jenna Ortega's character who is very much alive lmao

Bachira

This is literally not true though. Killing Reagan would have helped Kate immensely. She's far from innocent, but she absolutely did not only stop killing because it was "inconvenient". If anything, not killing Reagan was far more inconvenient for her. She was literally about to step down as CEO before Joe did what he did.

CAM

You're thinking of Delihla the older sister love killed

CAM

You mean the same guy who got away with killing multiple rich and influential people lol

CAM

Put it in the Western shown community or anime both work tbh

CAM

No one played dead btw the writers just made them invincible for some reasonon

Mitch

the ending was a little fumbled but overall I loved this show. really need another show like this

del

joe: spends years murdering dozens of people over multiple continents and even when getting away with all of it, a hot rich wife, and his kid back, cannot stop murdering and blames the people in his life for being mad at him for it Joe: the Real monster is… Society

del

Like that they stepped the production up for the finale by shooting it like a movie. Annoying that after an entire season of Bronte being foolish they made her the semi-competent Final Girl

Tre

In 5 years we'll get a continuation of one of his many pen pal love interest working in the prison and breaking him out #freejoe

SakuraBlossom

Yeah I’ll give you that one. Towards the end of their relationship, she decided enough was enough and that she had a limit to how many people she was willing to kill for her own ends. It’s the 180 in sending him out to kill for her to then judging him for killing when she asked him to do it then trying to save her own skin that irritated me. Of course Joe is still an utter piece of shit and is the ultimate evil here, my point was that the narrative treated Kate with an immense amount of grace that she didn’t really deserve considering her complicity in several crimes both during and before her relationship with Joe.

Jamaal Ellison

Why did Brontë wait all the way until Joe started eating pussy to grab a gun and force a confession? Yo whatever the writers were smoking to write this season needs to be buried in their backyards and only taken out during New Year's Eve and when their favorite sports team wins a championship.

Jamaal Ellison

I think what annoyed me the most about her is she wants to be the main character so badly. That's the only way any of her dumbass decisions make sense past episode 9. It's like she setting up career after she successfully puts him away book tours the late night talk show circuit movie deals she's like Harley Quinn in mad love.

Yaboiroshi

Would be funny if they referenced joe in the next season of dexter. Just him in the news

Yaboiroshi

Loved this episode. Fantastic season. Love characters like Joe. Bates motel. Dexter. Can't wait to see him somehow break out in the new season of dexter and become Dexter's new victim lol. Jk.

XENO XENO

yooo can you recommend me another show like "YOu" and "Dexter"

strrands

How does bronte or kate not die?

Buzzy Bee

He didn’t put the key in his arm out of nowhere though, it’s because he let Brontë lock him in there. Made him realize it could be potentially be him
