Got 1 big complaint about the show so far: The autistic detective. At this point it always felt more of a trope in shows like this, than anything of substance or representation and she kinda exemplifies my exact thoughts unfortunately. Great show otherwise even despite the ass pulls needed to get to this point🙂

I love the show so far but the only thing I can’t get out of my head and hopefully somebody can debunk this thought. Couldn’t Dexter literally threaten/blackmail Batista with the fact he let him get away with murder at the end of the original show and point out destruction of evidence in court if he got rid of the video of Dexter killing Saxon??? Basically saying “if I go down you’re gonna go down with me and you’re gonna get deleted in prison because you are a cop who probably put some of them in there.” And also do the same to Quinn if need be since he was there and saw the footage too??🤷‍♂️🤷‍♂️🤷‍♂️

@Allison Besides me being and my family having about 3 other high functioning autists (or having Asperger's officially when it was recognized still; pretty obvious with how much i write😂), so I know the signs by now😂😂, producers have started making this a trope in most good crime shows/films by now over the past 10 years so its kinda easy to spot nowadays🙂
