Really excited that you guys are watching this. I think one of the reasons the show is so good is that it's extremely realistic in certain aspects, largely due to how experienced and knowledgeable the author is in the tech field. He studied Computer Science and literature and then worked at Microsoft as a Software Engineer for a number of years before also becoming a lawyer lmao. Bro was collecting😭. Another one of his short stories got adapted into an episode of Love, Death and Robots. He was also the one who did the book translation for The 3 Body Problem. I definitely want more adult animation like this.

Just an FYI about this show, it was made during the pandemic so the first few episodes will have some lower quality audio due to that (also some poor mixing in general apparently), but it clears up by the third or fourth ep iirc.

I think you are a bit to upset about it. LoM looked great and all but I’m of the same opinion. I love complex shit. They have watched dialogue heavy shows before. But watching a show that condensed so much content is ridiculous. Read? That’s not even the problem. Every piece of dialogue was read. It was just moving to fast for it to actually stick. For it to matter. For the stakes to be set. I’m not watching something like that no matter how good it looks

Other reaction channels pause the content but this one doesn't. It isn't realistic to expect them to constantly pause when they've never done it before. Actually the reason why Maddie could decipher that it knew her mom or something related to her mom is because the program used the little girl emoji at first (referring to her), and then the adult woman emoji after. Pretty sure it was roughly like, "Is your mom okay?" Also I don't think the entire stronghold is her dad (was David his name?). There's probably multiple UIs.
