The upcoming music room fight is where I remember really getting hooked to this manga, it was so absurd and out of left field that I could not put it down. Been a great adaption and the rest of this season should not really let off the gas. With the pacing and intentional secrets hidden I have a good guess where this season will end and the wait for season 3 will be so painful if they are not already working on it.

Crazy to realize Manjiro, Seiko apprentice is 36 years old. I thought he was around Momo and Okarun ages. I'm loving the story and tense atmosphere with Evil Eye it matches the scene when Turbo Granny threatened to kill Momo grandmother with a stroke. I wonder if Evil Eye is based off of the Three Great Evil Yokai in mythology.

Okarun already showed he's able to do 10+ actions in one beat when he squat punched Evil Eye repeatedly but not only were those monotonous like Turbo Granny said he was but Evil Eye is able to adapt after every fight so he won't get caught off guard. He needs to develop attack patterns for certain situations.

Loved this episode. It was also interesting when Jiji said holding back Evil Eye after the soy sauce took so much of his stamina when we saw he does not even get out of breath running up all the stairs he took to get to his house every day -just a funny thought. Love the romance brewing between Okarun and Momo. I hope they can get a handle on Evil Eye soon

You also have the girl ghost that haunts toilets (Hanako-san), the ghost of the old school building, the cursed object, weird clocks, doppelganger mirrors, stairs where a particular step can teleport you to another world, etc. Very common in supernatural Japanse media with school settings in general, for obvious reasons.
