Im wondering, since they didnt say his increased %, I wonder if he's so damn strong that even at just 24% he was giving parameters that matched the others who were at closer to 50% or something. The wording seemed to hint at that for me when the captain said 'THAT'S 24%?'. I think the kid might be focusing too much on the number of 24% like its a test score, not realizing that he's actually keeping pace, it just doesn't sound like it on paper.
