To me it's obvious that Caspian would solve the code way before Holmstrom. It's 18 years in the future, so many developments probably happened in so many coding languages. Caspian absorbed all the new and refined developments as his foundation where Holmstrom is working with coding language that's two decades old.

That ain't you. It is just a copy. I don't think the brain copying method they used in the show would create a person who is you. There is this one idea of like a different kind of mind transfer. In this method it occurs in a step by step process, at a really small level, like sub-cellular. They replace every single part of your brain with a "robotic" version but they do it in a way that you never lose consciousness. But the technology for that isn't something I see being made in the next few centuries.

Well that and you know, he's kind of detached from the concept of love. It's why they paired that memory with Hannah at the beginning, when she died so did Holstrom's ability to connect with other people even before he uploaded. It's why Maddie was so important in being that opposing viewpoint for Caspian 🤔

Watching again, I think original Stephen never could crack integrity cause he literally became heartless after the loss of his first love. Ambitious, yes, but he could probably NEVER love again after that😬 So he never factored the concept into his equation. Mans already strugged with innate low emotional intelligence already, (and severe childhood trauma), but that single, tragic moment in his life truly made him become worst version of himself. He completely snapped, detached, and became an asshole, lmao. That's why they showed it at the beginning of this episode and never brought it up again while Caspian was tryna crack it.

Laurie and David actually did come up with this solution back in season 1 after meeting Chandra but they were worried about the ethics of bringing a new being into life but Caspian doesn't take ethics into consideration so he just went on with it

I think because Caspian sort of live a regular life and he was exposed to everything early whatever form they were using to clone him veered off somewhere and because Caspian is still his own person even though he is a clone so I think it’s super interesting

💯LITERALLY! I find it also ironic how they thought by following each step beat for beat, Caspian will eventually grow up to crack integrity as an adult. Instead, the opposite ended up happening😂 It's kind of a lose-win scenario for the bad guys lol. Cause he STILL ended up cracking it, but only EARLIER than expected.
