Jamaal Ellison

I'm still mad Victoria Newman is dead that was "L" Decision.

Wolfie_307

Every time I see the intro now im gonna think about sheera saying she'll juggle roshi nipples like that😂😂😂

Caleb

IT'S ABOUT DAMN TIME

halsa

I’m seated

TChang23

Hoping to see dark in this slot soon 🙏🏻

D Nice

I just finished watching the episode lol

Sharpeyz

the 1st sec of the new intro is very veryyyy interesting 😌

Dante

that intro so fire i gotta watch it every time

Jazko Exclusive

I still love this show but the drop off between season 1 and season 2 is so apparent. I guess they had to quickly change alot of major plot points because of Chance's tragic passing, which explains the hollowness of this season.

Ershy

nah u bugging s2 been pretty good

naa

I don’t know, I feel like there have been a few pacing issues this season

Jamaal Ellison

I think residual The Boys fatigue could be apart of you not loving the season.

Jazko Exclusive

say less. I still love the show ir hasn’t crossed my line of “bad writing” just yet

Leopold

I hope Marie isn't the one to defeat Homelander. That should go to Butcher/The Boys

Jamaal Ellison

It's gonna blow their fucking minds. 😤 that first season is a banger. This is a super shot in the dark but I love them to react to for all mankind.

Heather

It makes a lot of sense, I just didn't like the way she was killed, she should have died trying to kill Homelander

soulkiller

mariecate team up about to save this season

Jamaal Ellison

Giancarlo Esposito once thought about killing himself for the insurance money to provide for his family. If it's one thing this man gonna do is get that paycheck. He is human Hot sauce they put him in everything.

Fendifvce

they talked abt sam like he the second coming of homelander nigga got nerfed once shii got real

That guy joe

Ahhhh yes time for my weekly dose of unwanted obligatory Flashing/Mooning (haven’t watched episode yet btw)

Heather

I like this better than the second season, honestly, but I can see what you're saying. This season has been chill; it feels like it's preparing for the boys.

Gary

"Im the danger, huh? Ill show you the danger" I'd literally pop her head off

Jamaal Ellison

I'd rather her fly to close to the sun and get burned than turn on Homelander. She could've been another Cipher type. She's been well established enough to be a power player.

Fendifvce

idc her sister annoyin bru, im tired of evry1 blaming marie for shit is mad annoyin

Rozay31

Marie better than me I would have slapped the shit out my sibling for saying that dumb shi

Jazko Exclusive

Giancarlo has played damn near the same role in every film or tv show I watch him in Lmao

von

Yo when they train him up and he’s fully developed Sam gonna be a problem. Basically a male Maeve.

D Nice

I think Marie will get clapped this season because she sacrifices herself for her sister.

GrayStark

Nah I agree. They’ve been focusing WAY too much on character development. The writers obviously have their priorities skewed. We need story progression, not more emotional beats and story reflection. It feels cheap frankly. Even the production seems faulty. This is a flagship show for a billion dollar streaming service. Why are we getting theatre quality fight scenes and “The Flash” (show) level editing and visual effects. And I’m definitely whining lad, season 4 of the boys and now this? What the hell are we doing Kripke

ItsyaboyJABBER

Annabeth’s feelings are valid though as annoying as it may be. Like if I got randomly kidnapped from my normal life and then had my throat slit to be used as a test, I think I’d be pissed and over it too but that’s just me I guess lol

Ernie

Tragic for both Marie and her sister but honestly.. The sister is getting coddled too much, What u mean i'm the danger? How about both u and the aunt TALK TO ME!!! Not even homelander would get this threatment from people near him... This is just clear cut bad writing, we know that they will get along, we know they will be on good terms and perhaps one of them will die for shock-value, revealing/unlocking Marie to be the Blood-bending phoenix. This prolonged arguing and anger is just for filling the gaps for the reveal later on.... Marie is getting the short straw not the sister. NOW if the sister was >13 sure!! But they are similar age.

Walter Peavy III

First Amber now Annabeth. Amazon is wild right now.

Adrian Locke

One thing about Stan Edgar he will always be Plot Man

illmindedsoul

Next season of the boys is gonna be crazy with Marie in the mix, for now we’ll have to see what other potential her powers have before the end of the season.

Jaelyn Mcgee

I feel it. I like it a lot (in some parts more than the boys), but this season definitely feels like somethings missing and it's not simply Chase's passing. I think a lot of the plot lines while good, feel rushed. I know they only have so many episodes, and if they had a bigger episode list or more seasons to work with I feel they could expand more. Cause the whole La Resistance thing with Emma is great but it feels like it's not gonna really go anywhere before they have to wrap things up. Especially with Harper's powers. 60 seconds is a tight window but there's a lot you can do in that time.

von

I mean he has no real combat training and only a handful of brawls with other supes under his belt. And he was still giving Vikor some work, before going down. And he got back up quickly, it’s not like he got knocked out.

Daniel Jacks

So her sister is Raven Symone

Cinmnapple

Okay a little lesson in empathy: Imagine you’re about 17/18 you’re just living your life out of nowhere you get KIDNAPPED and taken to SUPER PRISON. In prison you’re surprisingly reunited with your long lost older sister who then gets TASERED and dragged away. Then as a test for your sister you get MURDERED. Turns out your sister who you have very complicated feelings about bc she orphaned you and who your only family member for the last ten years taught you to think of her as a pariah, is actually supe Jesus (???) and RESURRECTS you. Now you’re on the run with your sister and her friends who all very clearly don’t know wtf they’re doing. All of this within the same 24 hours btw. Now try to convince me you wouldn’t have an attitude… is Annabeth right or fair this episode? No not really but her feelings can still be valid

That guy joe

I stand corrected, the writers actually took this episode seriously.

Zailla

I like gen v but 40% of every episode is super boring and just pointless yap to drag out runtime

Isaiah

not the love is blind egg crack

angel

I had a theory that the reason why Marie's mother was able to conceive a child right after Marie could have been due to Marie's power, and the reason why Annabeth is a supe. Then I remembered that Marie's power didn't manifested until she had her period, lmao theory clapped

Shiroja

Here are some of my theories at the moment. The thing with Polarity I think he potentially caused a reaction between himself and Cypher by manipulating the polarity of the iron in their bodies. But my current theory with Marie is I don't think her powers are specifically blood related. I think she might have the ability to control and altar cells on a molecular level. Cypher is constantly talking about how she has to feel like every cell is connected to her. Also we think Victoria and Marie have the same powers but there was only two survivors of Odessa which neither of them were Victoria. That implies that her and Marie's powers are fundamentally different. Also Goldolkin wanted to control supes and what better way than to be able to take away their powers on a whim. I think Marie believes her powers are blood related because they first presented when she had her period. The whole season understanding exactly how you're powers works has been the theme. So I think Marie's powers should be complete control over cells essentially.

Kayya Rainey

I agree but I also think the Resistance plot was more so for Emma’s development and I’m still sus of the dude Emma likes too so I think it’s going to come back in these next two episode and hopefully adds something to the plot.

Heather

They are a lot less excited see edgar than i expected

Alexis Sullivan

I think Annabeth got her powers either as residual effects from the in vitro injections they gave her mom to conceive Marie or Marie herself did it when they were kids without realizing it

Alexis Sullivan

Also, I gotta say The Boys is really good but Gen V is taking the cake for me. I feel like we're getting more character work in Gen V which makes it much better imo.

Heather

I think youre 100 % correct because there is no logical way her power is just blood, it makes sense if she can movde the blood, but how the hell is she able yo repair the skin. I literally instantly said this bitch Atom Eve when I saw this ( bro new season of invincible gonna be wild with her powers unstable) but she should be able to manipulate cells, living and non living grow crops cure diseases etc and importnatly revert homelander back to a baby and throw him out the window, he power can be really op depending how Gen V take its.

Heather

What if Cipher is not Godolken and its a misdirect I feel its too easy. I literally predict that on episode 1. What if Cipher really has him as a trophy and using him as an information tool, he could literally be manipulating cipher and working together with sage to use Mrie to restore him back to health.

Lucky_Icarus

And people need to understand just how insanely busted being able to control cells are. Like immediately, immortality. Bam. Just stop your cells from aging/reverse it. She can have Wolverines healing factor if she wanted. Cancer is fucked. She can easily fix whatever Polarity got going on. And that's just the tip of the iceberg. SHE IS GODLIKE. She's Atom Eve but for organic matter.

Lamaree Jackson

I ask for Stan Edgar and I get Stan Edgar. Thank you

Xemnas27

They’re building up Marie like crazy I can’t wait. Gen V really carrying the franchise

naa

THANK YOU! I feel like I’m going insane seeing people just refuse to look at it from annabeth’s pov. Like I get that we’ve been with Marie for longer as viewers so obviously it’s gonna be frustrating to watch annabeth immediately be distrustful of her, but her reaction 100% makes sense

Heather

Funny how youre talking about empathy but refusing to use your brain and understand their emotions. People can understand her frustration at the situation and hate her at the same time for how she is treating her sister who's been ostracized and in foster homes and had a worse life than her, while she was chilling cozy up with her aunt. Marie did nothing wrong except been used as an experiment as a baby and had to suffer her whole life for it, as a tool and an orphan and with guilt. So yeah its gonna hard for a lot of people to care about her whining as if Marie had not been suffering for a long time and she's adding nothing but annoyance to the episode.

Heather

Yeah, be pissed for revenge, not pissed at the only people trying to help you. Marie is better than me. I would have left her ass outside and left, too much at stake to be dealing with her bs.

Heather

She would be on the street lol, my sister knows better than that lol

C. J. Ramirez

I hope Zoey kills butcher in s5 of the boys

naa

I think you’re right

Heather

She already turned did turn on Homelander lol

Alex Omega

Whether anybody agrees with me or not, I don't care; but this is how I feel about Annabeth. AT FIRST, I was angry at her in the scene between her and Marie, but after I thought about it some more, I understood Annabeth's POV and why she was upset toward Marie. I remember that Annabeth was raised by Pam to be scared of Marie for accidentally killing their parents. She was very young when it happened, just like Marie, so it was traumatizing for her (and obviously for Marie too), and unfortunately, Pam raised her to be fearful of her own sister because of the incident. Yes, Pam should have done a better job of explaining it to Annabeth, but we are past that now, and so there is no point in bringing it up since we know Pam was a shitty Aunt to Marie. The point is that Annabeth has been blaming Marie for over ten years for the trauma that was caused by the incident. She hasn't heard Marie's side of the story of that traumatizing moment for both of them. Once she finally does, she will chill out on Marie. Right now, her whole life just got turned upside down in a single moment, as she was kidnapped away from her normal life, she FUCKING DIES, then was used as a test for her estranged sister to level up her Godlike abilities. If I were in her shoes, I wouldn't be able to rationalize things or to fully process anything around me as quickly as other people like to claim in the comment section. That's just me, tho, and I said my piece. So feel free to discuss amongst yourselves.

Tristan Jones

I think polarity is controlling the iron in his blood potentially

Jamaal Ellison

I'll put it like this. I wanted her to be Emperor Palpatine.

Cool The Wrathful

We know that Polarity’s powers deal with magnetism. Magnetism, in turn, is generated by the motion of electric charges in atoms. I believe what we saw here is the “level up” of his abilities to consolidate these charges into a burst wave of energy able to move/affect non-metallic objects

Jamaal Ellison

Having Graboid mouth snakes is a pretty lame power especially when your mother's power was head popping like Scanners.

ShayWolf

Marie is probably gonna take the V out of Annabeth’s system

kidBuku

Jordan Keeps lookin at Marie likes she's weird. JORDAN LOCK TF IN.

PJ Rivera

Rip the boys thor he was giving them the business for a while

Shockzz1234

My guess since the start of the season was that whatever stories in this season that were gonna be Andre's instead got passed to Polarity, hie father (or most of what was gonna be Andre's stories), because of the actor's passing. Obviously with some tweaks here and there of course. So Polarity evolving his powers was a thing that was gonna happen to Andre initially, which makes more sense - a youngster discovering a new level to his powers. Having said that, Polarity going through the evolution was pretty neat too. Turns out an old dog can indeed still learn new tricks!

Gilthwixt

Trash sister, sure everything is totally Marie's fault and not, you know, the evil fucking megacorp that's causing all of this.

kidBuku

I lowkey feel weird about precognition being a power.

Jamaal Ellison

I don't think an argument needs to be had about who had a ruffer life it's Marie all the way. But Annabeth's lifestyle was pretty chill with auntie Pam up until now. But it's probably forever changed in a big bad way because of Marie whether she wanted to be or not whether it's fair or unfair, who cares. Annabeth's life is crazy different now she didn't ask for it to be. It's understandable She's be a little mad about that. In Annabel's mind, Marie is the source of all the pain and trauma she's ever experienced her fair or unfair. It doesn't matter.

Tabbs

It doesn’t take a genius to realize that Marie doesn’t have a choice in this but yeah by your logic blame her regardless

Jamaal Ellison

Yep without the i just shit myself looks Raven always had.

Tabbs

Annabeth still blaming Marie about her parent’s death even though she also got powers that she didn’t choose to have is insane

Jamaal Ellison

You can feel that way with perspective you have more knowledge than she does. Marie is the face of every bad thing that's ever happened to her.

Jamaal Ellison

Annabeth's powers didn't kill anyone asks far as we know Marie did kill kill their parents even if it was an accident.

derick ako

What part of this episode was dragged out???????

Ekko08

I feel like that safe house is going to get attacked even if Marie thinks leaving would keep them safe. Also if everyone's powers can develop further I wonder what those additions would be. Maybe for Emma she can make specific parts of her body larger or smaller or just have an easier time switching

Jamaal Ellison

She Was 12 years old, and it was an accident. But that doesn't it change people's reaction to her Killing somebody. Her Powers were dangerous and couldn't control them.

kidBuku

@23:10 Theres no way they didnt clip that barricade when making that turn. lmaoo

adam8t

ngl the fight with viking dude was awful

sol jam

I think in the end Marie chose to listen to Edgar because he told her to go after him and she doesn't need her friends to do it but he also said that they need to get into his head and I think that's what Cate is doing she wants to get her powers back to get into Ciphers head

Bria A.

"We're not going to a foreign country. We're going to Canada. :D" Emma I love you... absolutely not the fucking time, girl, but I do love you lmao And to Sheera's point and Roshi's comment, Annabeth definitely isn't an adult. If Marie is 18 then she's like 16 at most (despite the actress's age). 19 and 17 to stretch it, since it's a new school year.

Himindabank

Hate me if you wish but, Marie is so fuckin’ stupid. Why the fuck would you go and see whom you BELIEVE to be Thomas Godolkin, who’s guarded by the man whom you BELIEVE wants you to be his weapon??? The same man who’d rather see you crushed or attached like a puppet. She’s been making the dumbest decisions all season and has the audacity to be surprised by their outcome. She acts on impulse with no regard for whom or what they may affect.

Dallas

Victoria resurrection will be soon TRUST 🙏🏽

Cinmnapple

Offering Annabeth’s perspective doesn’t mean I dont care about Marie’s or understand why people are annoyed I just think she could use some grace. She’s having a very human reaction that I don’t think is worth hating her for especially when we see she’s being reminded of Marie’s real character and they’re most likely gonna have some closure. Obviously we the audience know what Marie’s life would be like but we don’t know that Annabeth does especially with how Vought lies. It wouldn’t be very good or believable writing if they just had no issues at all especially under all this stress

Arsean Wilbon

Stan Edgar was literally telling her too. "Accept that you are stronger than all your friends put together" he talks in riddles but he is saying you don't need us to help you, just go get answers.

Arsean Wilbon

you're looking at it from a place of knowledge, Annabeth doesn't know that nor understand the circumstances, all she knows is her sister killed their parents, her life got turned upside down and then she was kidnapped , killed and is now on the run. and the common denominator is her sister...

Hanno

Idk why they don't put Marie to work at hospitals saving lives

Bria A.

I'm pretty sure Lupa has the right idea but the wrong person. It might be possible that Polarity's power advancement was controlling the iron in Cipher's blood to manipulate his body (yes I know that iron as a base element isn't a full metal and doesn't really have electromagnetism in the way that superpowers like to depict it, idk, just rock with it lmao)

Bria A.

With all due respect it's kind of insane to be counting "too much" character and relationship development as a bad thing considering that it would get dragged if there was none, either. Their actions and decision making would seem hollow without it. I think the blame, as always, actually needs to go towards modern-day season lengths if you believe there are pacing issues.

Jazko Exclusive

Nah I actually love The Boys and I dont mind the shenanigans in either shows. My problem was the writing and plot of Gen V.

Fizzy 🐉

This doesn’t even make sense lol

Jazko Exclusive

I feel like they skipped over the fact that Cate and Sam are Vought puppets and they got forgiven way too easily for what happened at the end of Gen V s1 and The Boys Finale. Despite the story revolving around Marie she has seen the least amount of actual development but the most developed powers. I like Emma and Jordan as characters though

local

Theory: since we know Marie's parents were infertile, maybe Marie subconsciously helped her parents concieve Annabeth, which is nothing sort of a miracle (also the worddrop "miracle" has been done by the show many times this season) , hence the "miracle child". and in doing so maybe Marie also altered the blood of the child, making her a supe.

Cinmnapple

I don’t think Marie’s powers are just blood at all. She healed Annabeth without even leaving a scar I think she can straight up just control cells

Unknown

Imagine Marie being able to just fucking put a stop to all cellular regeneration a body does on a daily basis to keep on living. Which is exactly the opposite of healing people. And she just did that last episode. Wait, that’s technically enforcing an EXTREMELY FAST aging on the body. Like those green aliens on Invincible season one. THAT would also mean Marie can make herself or everyone immortal…. Im about to spiral on the amount of possibilities

Sam

Uhh, how much decomposition can Maria reverse though. Victoria's been dead for a while.

CuteAdorableDog

Thomas Keller the chef that stan name drops while cooking is the same chef we see in the flashback at the beginning of the bear 3x10 the guy that was giving out incredible advice

Kahdeem Suliaman

Marie is starting to p*ss me off loweky. This entire season she still isn’t coming to terms with her being 1 of the most powerful supes it’s getting old asf tbh.

Indifferent Denji

Its still stupid annabeth is old enough to understand what a period is atp and know it wasnt maries fault. AND now that we know shes a supe too she should know that marie litteraally had 0 choice in having powers and know how much that sucks. In fact the parents annabeth is so mad marie killed are litterally the ones to blame for this is she wants to blame someone. I hope they have her grow out of this

BindingofNack

Sam's shirt being cut off on both sides to just say "OW" is surprisingly fitting for him

Indifferent Denji

But she and everyone in the world knows how supes are made she should be able to understand marie is a victim as well. And shes a supe too she is literally in the same boat beside killing her family but I feel most ppl would be able to acknowledge it wasn't her fault atp at the very least.

justchattinn

i be tired of jordans passive aggressive comments they can be a sassy little bitch sometimes

Rawfish36

I’m guessing that’s how she survived homelanders lasers last season, I wonder if she can regrow limbs.

Shockzz1234

The fights this season of Gen V have been pretty meh across the board tbh. No idea who is directing them, but don't invite them back again lol. Season 1's fights and The Boy's fights are miles better.

Himindabank

All for cipher to possess her too.

Keevondrick Womack

Wild theory; But what if Aunt Pam actually agreed to give Annabeth V under the guise of something else. Maybe as a means to "protect" her from Marie, should she have found them earlier. Kinda like what Nueman did for her daughter. Not that Marie would've done anything, but Pam and Annabeth clearly still saw Marie as some kind of monster that *intentionally* killed her parents. Or, another wild theory; Maybe one or both of their parents where infertile and took V to basically rectify/heal/correct their ability to produce a child naturally. Using it not for the potential powers, but to heighten a human bodies basic functions. Thus making Annabeth their, "real", miracle child.

Rozay31

like fr it is getting annoying

Isaac

My thought on Polaris and what happened. Having metal bending powers requires electro magnetism. I'm pretty sure what happened was a electromagnetic burst so strong that it can force push non metals. Pretty sure Magneto can pull stuff off like this because in video games he has electro magnetic blast beam attacks. But before that even happened it looked like Cipher couldnt move hos hand so did he control the iron in Cipher's blood too??

Cherrybomb118

Annabeth saying she couldn’t exactly see the future, and then proceeding to describe future vision with the dictionary definition of it was hilarious. Also her feelings are valid, and I understand she was traumatized. That doesn’t change what I’m gonna say next: she was unnecessarily cruel to Marie. She went out of her way to say hurtful things when it wasn’t needed. Stan and Zoe came to slay, period! I’m glad Polarity fucked Cipher up. It was a long time coming. Marie being an Omega level supe just makes sense. Even when she thought her power was just control over blood she’d still OP. But now that she can bring back the recently deceased and maybe heal? She’ll be unstoppable. I’m a little iffy on Cate still but it was cute how she followed Marie like a lost puppy at the end. Idk how they’ll wrap all this up with only two more episodes but I am hype!

Remi

Jordan’s has an inferiority complex. Their character has been used as a protector since episode 1 because of how strong they are but Marie keeps powering up. Jordan feels weak in comparison and Marie is validating those feelings by leaving Jordan behind.

Jonathan Hart

Yeah the whole "I'm nothing like Homelander" bit was kind of corny. Like it's so obvious they aren't saying you're emotionally like him🤦🏾

Sam

marie most likely has biokinesis as a whole, which is control over organic matter/material, and her powers just manifested as specifically manipulation over blood. polarity either created like a blast of magnetic energy or he actually has telekinesis, i'm leaning towards telekinesis because that would correlate more with his and andre's seizures, i wouldn't be surprised if andre developing telekinesis was the storyline they were planning on giving him

Christian Owusu

Pretty sure her reluctance to accepting that is one of the reasons she’s the best person to have the power. Realistically she could literally end civilization or create a utopia let her figure her shit out!

Kylian

Ramblings Marie defo healed her mum =Miracle-baby annabeth being born If she can control cells she could get rid of the v in supes instead of killing them like the virus from previous seasons Cipher decrypts lol supes helping them unlock their abilities

Johnquez

Y’all should react to Bel Air, the show is 🔥and the final season is coming in November if I’m not mistaken

David James

Smiling/unaffected while eating peoples faces is a weird direction. I can't really take a lot of these shows seriously with how videogamey the characters can be.

Johnquez

These mfs think they slick, they finna pull a Rexsplode on us with Sam. It’s just too nice, he’s reconciled with his family, got the full story and some closure on his illness and the V, and there’s a chance him and Emma could get back together. They finna off my boy, I feel it. And when he dies, Emma’s gonna grow.

Drake Rage

Polarity can control metal... there is iron in blood... I think 39:07 is showing that Polarity can now potentially learn to control people/movements through the iron in their blood, aka he just became OP (as long as he can keep the side effects/seizures under control).

Wsgyan

What

Wsgyan

I actually like what you’re saying about Marie healing her mom

Wsgyan

I think he just controlled the iron in cipher’s blood

Qwerty

😂😂😂

DatKid_Kaneki

yeah shorty trippen man she gonna get ppl killed prolonging this

Slim jimmy

She was killed and so was her parents y tf would she have empathy just make it simple from her POV

G A H I

I feel this episode was like the calm before the storm. Glad Emma wasn't really into getting back into it with Sam ( I get somewhat irked when shows do that push and pull thing with relationships). Also Idk how I felt about Annabeth this episode. I understand her trauma, but at the same time with her being a supe, regardless if her power is as "non-lethal" in comparison to other supes, I'm scratching my head and wondering how is she not as sympathetic to her sister when Marie's own situation was also out of her own control. Also, I know most of the characters in this universe is somewhat of a parody of other characters from DC/Marvel universe, but what is Marie and even Annabeth comparable to at this point?

Slim jimmy

wtf doesn’t it he killed her mom makes perfect sense

Ke

This show isn’t just a dc marvel parody lol yeah it has characters similar that they added for the funny aspect but I think that is really only for the boys cause who In gen v is similar to anybody in dc or marvel

Antonio

MMMMMMMMAAAAANNN FUCK THAT LITTLE SISTER BRO!!!! ACTUALLY FUCK THAT WHOKE FAMILY TO BE REAL🤷🏾‍♂️

Clutchalways

Sam finna die same plot with characters “coming to terms” and shit lmao

slayydo

idk, cuz the effects had a blast coming from Polarity, not just Cipher getting moved. but definitely intriguing for sure.

Drake Rage

The blast was the second part/magnetism-related. I think the first part: freezing his hand/preventing movement, was from metal control through the iron in the blood.

Derek Sanders

polarity is heavily underrated rn he is basically magneto if he can control magnetic fields he could manipulate atoms, emps, switch the earths poles like x-men 97 just my theory. and there's only like 4 grams of iron in the entire human body so i hope its not that lol

RYC

Marie's sisters powers = sheera in every reaction lol. All Hail, The Mighty Sheerigan!

Colin Donnelly

The v that was put into the mom in order to help get pregnant the first time probably still lingered within her body by the time she had annabeth meaning she was probably born with the powers but like Marie didn’t activate until she was older. Bc the v wasn’t given to Marie while in the womb, her parents could not get pregnant at all meaning they had to give something with v in it to the mom in order to have the pregnancy happen to begin with.

Colin Donnelly

Whatever they gave them probably lingered in her body allowing her to also give birth again to annabeth.

Bosastar

Why is Marie being blamed for everything?😭😂

Maxy7maxy

Most people get injected with compound V when they’re babies, remember the Lazer baby. The only reason Marie and Homelander are different is they got injected with it during IVF. So I assume after Marie didn’t show signs of powers her parents tried their luck again by injecting Annabeth with V as a baby.

vaygatti

And why isn't she defending her damn self?

ItsyaboyJABBER

She still has to process everything, it would be weird as hell for Annebeth to just go with the flow. Not to mention she literally lived her entire life with thoughts of hating Marie drilled into her.

Naiz

Marie better than me, i would've said their parents got themselves killed when they gave her v then walked into that bathroom.

Sne Msomi

It not being fair doesn’t really change that annabeth was kidnapped and murdered Because of Marie . We all agree that what happened to their parents wasn’t Marie’s fault however annabeth hasn’t gotten her closure, there is no way yall actually that they’ll be besties the second they met again .

N

jordan just busting out the seams of that shirt bro

OnceUponABowl

im annoyed marie didnt ask for powers they chose that and didnt tell and her sis throwing that in her face after she just revived you is insane

OnceUponABowl

if marie can take away and give powers thats dope af

Joey boi

New intro 🔥😌

Has Noname

Holy let this dude cook. All these are great theories

Lamaree Jackson

Why i feel like the actual endgame isn’t to control supes, it’s really some Syndrome shit where he wants everyone super so no ones special

Nuke XD

I think Marie will get super strong and will play a major role in the boys final season, but she will not be stronger than Homelander, in the end it will still be HomeLander x Butcher, as they said before, scorched earth w only the two remaining, also I think her power wont work on Homelander, kind of like Neuman´s power wouldn't, cause maybe he has more V than blood on his veins

Mike A

It's not Marie's fault that happened to Annabeth. Marie is as much a victim in this situation as Annabeth is. Yeah maybe they won't be cool immediately, but you'd think Annabeth having her own powers would give her some insight into what it was like for Marie as a kid.

Mike A

Sam turned nice and immediately jobbed to the Viking guy. Not looking good for Sam's future.

Panda

Gus told marie "when the dust settles, those who remain will shape the world". He was referring to her friends, he said this right after bringing up how powerful she was and that she didn't need them. Also telling her about what cypher potentially can inform them about and how important that was. Gus is 100% plotting something and wanting marie to go off and do this by herself, but i don't know why yet. It obviously seems like dude is doing this for marie and the greater good of sups, but idk if i buy that from anyone in this show lmfao.

GojosHoho

28:41 Sam is looking tew good 😮‍💨idk about Emma but I'm overly going 😂😂💀 I forgive you pookie 🤧

GojosHoho

I wish Marie would listen and stop being so dramatic 💀 how is he talking about you and homelander originating from the same science experiment therefore being the same in power or in the origin of power and you boohooing about " I'm not a monster waaaaa" girl shut up💀 no one was talking about that 😂

Manny

lowkey I could see that

Manny

dang I just realized they were about to give Andre the buff they gave his dad 😭 RIP CHANCE

LMAOOOO facts Jamie

Marie’s powers are called a miracle, Annabeth’s birth was called a miracle, so I’m guessing Marie somehow unconsciously changed her mom’s body so she could give birth

moné

ngl annabeth wouldn't have gotten kidnapped if she developed her powers instead of blaming marie for every fucking thing

A. P.

Polarity hit that nigga wit a Psybeam that's crazy

Aizen

Ngl Realistically Homelander needs to win

DJ Muldrow

I think Marie is immortal tbh

DJ Muldrow

Like think about it, the control of blood on a molecule level

OnceUponABowl

I love how Emma is my favorite character this season she’s hilarious

Hybrid10Prime

Yeah, that brother was looking GOOD in the tank top. Gah damn...

People hating on Annabeth in this episode is weird because we know that her aunt just constantly reinforced the negatives of Marie. Marie even said that Pam even blamed Marie for what happened so imagine what she was telling Annabeth. She just groomed this child into loathing her sister all because she does.

NEW INTRO LETS GOOO

artisticSarcasm

if she was a IV its perhaps possible that the experimental form might've introduced a V gene into the blood of their mother, the later natural birth being influenced by it.

PJ Rivera

I mean it makes sense look at homelander his son is the first natural born super so its not just drugs in the blood its in the DNA like a meta human gene. We’ve seen that what they normally do is dose young babies over time with V but marie and homelander were injected while in the earliest stages of the pregnancy that it combined with their genetic makeup. Thus Marie should also be able to create supe kids. I think in season 5 of The Boys Homelander will want to open odessa again to create a super race because the supes are basically doomed because they cannot reproduce all their kids end up human unless dosed with V which can be dangerous. We’ll have to wait for the finale to see what happens next

PJ Rivera

And Marie would probably heal his damaged brain at the last second🥺.

G A H I

If you look it up Gen V is literally a more dark satirical parody of X-Men. Obviously the characters and story line aren’t going neck for neck, but so many aspects mirror DC/Marvel. It’s more obvious in The Boys, but it’s still the same universe. Ex: Andre/Cate season one were literal parallels of Magneto and Professor X/ maybe Jean Grey. Tek Knight, who was introduced in Gen V, is a literal comparison to Batman/Tony Stark. The Harper chick with the tail is apparently similar to Rogue. Yeah, the show is its own thing, but there’s obvious inspirations that the creators themselves have said they’re parodying and I do think they succeed incorporating those elements into the show/ making it their own thing.

3:20 this brotha sam came in like the kool-aid man lol

Noah

I thought it's implied her sister already had powers

Senjioh

Now it makes sense how Cipher is able to shrug off damage like being stabbed in the hand, he either does not feel the pain of the people he controls or he is so used to pain from his burns that it does not faze him.

Xemnas27

Scapegoat so they can handle their trauma

Eliana

I thought the show made it clear that AnnaBeth is a teenager, since Marie is Atleast 20 and AnnaBeth is the younger sister. I know it’s easy to say that AnnaBeth shouldn’t be upset, but we need to be fr. She clearly still loves her sister, but she DID kill their parents.😂🤦🏾‍♀️

Dexter

Hammer block was dope Jordan stays ready

Cherrybomb118

A character Giancarlo Espisito played from Breaking Bad.

mina

At this point she gotta understand just how insane her power is. She can cure all or most diseases and she attacks the part of the body that you cant train so no one in a fight with her should win really. And like the past arc where there was a disease being developed to kill supes, with how her power works she should actually just be able to take away powers by seperating the V. Arguably she should be able to puppeteer people too. Like theres tons of applications to that ability that in theory are just so broken compared to any other power ive seen in the show.

Joshua Cato

I feel like Annabeth has every right to be upset. She lost her parents because of Marie, and then she was captured and used as cannon fodder just so Marie could discover a deeper connection with her powers. While it’s true that Marie isn’t entirely at fault, we can’t pretend that these problems Annabeth is now involved in would’ve still happened if Marie hadn’t been in her life.

Radoras

well yeah, just...it's because of Marie, true, but...."at fault"? It's not like Marie had a big choice at any point past being a sucessful subject in "Project Odessa" & that was decided before she was even born

Radoras

honestly? with how insecure Homelander is I could also see him hunting her down because he can't stand the thought of anyone being on his "level" (him wanting to be the only "god tier" supe) Regarding Annabeth, might very well be right - if they were dosed so early in their development & all cells that divided after that early stage were affected, that would include their germ-line cells (sperm/eggs) - something which for people dosed later (after birth) is not the case only thing I'm wondering (don't think the show will adress it though) is - does it make a difference if (like Homelander's son Ryan) one parent is a "Odessa"-supe (dosed on fertilization) & one is a normal human (Becca) or both parents being supes on birth? Would that maybe create an even stronger supe? Just thinking because Ryan (supposedly) has the potential to become as strong as Homelander (which is why they considered training him up to kill his dad)? Does it make a difference if you're a "second generation" born supe? (because Homelander's dad - soldierboy - had already been a Supe when he donated sperm to create him, so Ryan would already be the second generation born supe)?

CAM

Are you slow, Annabeth should be upset at her parents for traumatizing her and HER SISTER, MARRIE who had it worse that her. They drugged their BABIES and never mentioned it in case it randomly happened and it did on a period and you’re trying to figure out how to control something you know you didn’t have before and it’s all happening fast and later on instead of Pam being being a good “aunt” let alone person she never told annabeth that their parents gave them Compound V and made Marie out to be some crazy villain. Meanwhile she left Marie a child was growing up being tortured and experimented on in red river, you are an object and lab rat in there.

Rebel_R300

RIP to Vikor they took him out too soon that guy was a problem. Sam and Jordan were struggling against him. Sam is strong but got no hands goddamn 🤣

JHaze

Not if you just blow her head off instantly

Vinne

Right its like you can't blame a woman for going through something natural which was made unnatural without her consent btw

Vinne

Emma is so funny bro 😭😭

Vinne

I mean there's Polaris and her sister is wanda who is also dabbled in prediction magic/mutant whatever her deal is now. But there aren't any blood benders that are notable enough to think of outside of vamps in marvel

shemshamx

the price of drugging your new borns lol

BigAL96_

09:30 Why is she being weird about??

Freeofgreed

Damn Roshi spoiling me. I didn’t know about that theory 😭

DsWorldd •

Idk if I’m tripping but annabeth looks like the older sister to me instead of Marie lmao

DsWorldd •

Yeah or constantly being in excruciating pain blocks out the other pain, like you wouldn’t feel getting flicked on one arm if the other arm is burning over a fire

Eliana

I think you and everyone who thinks that is tripping lol, if anything I can go for looks the same age, but even down to the way they interact, it’s clear Marie is big sis.

Ja'Bree Costen

Emma Telling Annabeth That They Are All Going To Canna Roshi Confused: WHAT?🤔. 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
