I enjoyed S3 as a whole but this game honestly had me heated. They had 9 of hearts right there. Already written out for them. All they had to do was adapt it. It is that freaking easy. Instead they chose this weak, boring ass game. Eps 6 imo is a solid episode overall but this one was cheeks.

I wouldn't go that far. I think the concept they had in S3 was great. However, they had a whole 9 of hearts game from the manga spin off. But for some reason said "Nah imma do my own thing". The last game was a result of that. I guarantee you that if they kept that same Joker ending in eps 6. But 9 of hearts was the final game instead of the game they chose, the reception of this season would be significantly better

I really loved this episode honestly as it shows people's individuality completely and what really matters, as well as the faith a person has towards if good can come after all the bad stuff. Sure character development and plot development was phenomenal this episode too, but it's the existential shit of it all that really stands out, especially with the cinematography 🔥

That was the last thing he saw because it was the future he kept choosing, just like how Tetsu saw his life going to shit after he chose the drugs and then ran out of points

Just explaining the rules about points since there is a lot of confusion in their reaction: 1. 15 rounds max, so there is a hard limit regardless of points. 2. Unlocking a door takes 1 point from only 1 participant that goes through that door (ex. If 7 people go through 1 door, only 1 participant loses 1 point to unlock it for all 7). 3. Rooms may or may not have point removals on entry only, not if you stay for a round, but only take from 1 participant that enters per round if there is points to deduct (ex. -1 rooms, -4 rooms, etc.). 4. If a participant willingly stays or forced stays in the same room for a round, they will lose 1 point (ex. If two people stay in the same room without leaving for a round both will lose 1 point). 5. Unlocking a forced stay room doesn't take any points.
