100% agree. It's definitely either a love it or hate it but personally I found it one of the best endings ever for a sci-fi show. Blew my mind when I watched it. I believe they had a rushed schedule with the production of season 2 so they had to end it quickly. It would've been great to have a season 3 to fully cover the ideas the last 2 episodes throw at you but they did great with what they had imo!

i think this show being shorter works in its favor. the fact that the last two ep's are so neckbreakingly fast makes sense. a full extra season really would have taken the steam and momentum out of that

I wanna just say it's cool what they did with Yair and Farhad. As a (what I would consider) the average Israeli myself, We share a lot with Yair's point of view. We care about our country and our people, but the middle east stuff has gone far too long, to the point that (as seen in the episode) both sides don't even really know when this all started and simply want everyone to live where they consider their cultural roots to stem from. For Farhad, many Iranians oppose the radical regime currently in place and actually want peace with Israel, and Israelis such as myself want peace with the Iranian people as well, and its nice to see the show giving that part of our relations a spotlight. the show kept the fact that Yair and Farhad (like the vast majority of us) is willing to help his people and his country, as well as what they consider the greater good, but by peace. Also, appreciate how the trio didn't get into it too much and kept the discussion in the context of the show, and not the real world, keeping it clean and nice, avoiding an easy pitfall into real life politics.

For the people confused thinking it was planned for 2 seasons: It was greenlit for 2 seasons to start with but was planned for 3 seasons by the writers from the jump. It then got cancelled after s1 and picked up in just NZ for s2 when it aired, so they hedged their bets of a continuation for a completed story

He definitely merged with Safesurf. They even poked a bit a the concept of the swarm emulating that other UI. His mind might be too powerful for it though, or the swarm might become fully sentient and focused on enacting Steven's "cure".
