It is not enough to have "good intentions," but to actually think about your actions, its potential consequences, and whether you are actually trying to help, instead of blindly doing hurtful stuff that benefits yourself under the guise/"justification" of having "good intentions." Yeah at the end of the day how someone choose to live their life is up to them, the most you can do is advise them based on your perspective but if they don't see anything wrong with what they're doing then you can't really overstep unless you can prove their decision will in fact hurt them.

Subaru has good intentions but her issue was not taking other people's perspective into account and thinking she knew what would be ideal for Kaoruko. I can understand why she would have a hard time liking herself after what she did that but hopefully with time she'll come to terms with it and grow.

roshi you have no idea lmao everybody DESPISED her when she was introduced in the manga too. turnaround damn near gave me whiplash. Cant stay mad at someone who not only apologizes for their mistakes but actually strives to learn from them and improve upon themself. Too many ppl think it all gets better after an "im sorry" which is why I think subaru won over a lot of people. She actually makes an effort to change her whole way of thinking.

17:12 Sheera, if there was an anime like that, I'd fuck with it. Kind of like Rem and Subaru from Re:Zero but not an isekai. Then again, I think the only reason Rem ended up getting a spotlight is because the main love interest was absent for most of the first season.
