I would say only the transformation is like Shazam because when Billy turns into an adult he still keeps his personality as a kid but in Sanda's case his adult self is influencing his overall personality even when he turns back into a kid.

That is a good point. It is kinda like a Rudeus. Or even Aqua(Oshi no Ko) Where they, with the minds of adult, would find themselves being overwhelmed by their emotions and hormones on occasion because their minds were assimilating with their bodies. Like Sheera said its kinda like Shazam with his Wisdom of Solomon; Except the Wisdom/Maturity of Santa is affecting him as Sanda. It's much easier to watch for now than early Rudeus at least. Where we were constantly reminded that he was still an adult, who was not only aware of his disgusting tastes, but reveled in it.

The first episode was random and I was a bit skeptical on whether I'll get attached to the MC but the second one did a better job in making him feel more grounded and mature.

It seems like it's a thing in japan I KNOW it's a thing in south korea. Its part of the reason the school bullying there is so bad. I think they recently passed a law for if a kid bullies another, that stain of reputation follows them and severely effects their chances of entering a university. Like its actually a specific number of points on their entrance exam that gets taken off just cause. I found it especially funny that they named the law after the kids dad. Deadass titled like this "Sung Jin Woo's son law" Like legit.....

I said it before for Mushoku Tensei and I'll say it again here. Relationships between characters who's age on the outside doesn't match their age on the inside should always go by the age they are on the outside. It would have been weird as hell if Santa kissed a 14 year girl, and it would have been weird as hell if child Rudeus hooked up with a 50 year old woman.
