Well in the show, they make it seem like she agreed to be with him before her city was destroyed and that afterwards she chose hell to punish herself for her actions. In the books, after she realises the man she's looking for is an Endless, she rightfully rejects Dream and takes off running. He chases her down and wouldn't leave her alone. Because he wouldn't leave her alone, she breaks her hymen with a rock, so when he reaches her, she's like, "Welp, I guess I'm no longer a virgin, will you leave me alone now?". He's like "Don't really care". What happens next is under dubious consent at best and SA at worst. Then her city gets destroyed. Again, Dream is like "Be my queen", out of guilt Nada kills herself, unfortunately for her, death doesn't mean much to the Endless. Post death, he's still begging her to marry him, she says no. He fetches her from Death's realm and gives her the ultimatum of either being his Queen or spend eternity in hell. Because Nada won't let the world get destroyed by being with an Endless, she says no. So he sends her to hell. It was never her actions that caused her city to be destroyed anyway, and she still paid the price.

Honestly i find his family pathetic. Dream is the only one actually trying to change for the better. No one in his family tells desire to get his act together and stop ruining their family. They literally tell dream they should stop argueing, but says nothing to desire. When desire had a baby with a human and tried to make dream kill it, thus spilling family blood. Which they are forbidden to do. Sure dream has flaws. But he actually listens and changes and apologies when explained things. Lucienne did in season 1. And when death told him he treated Nada unfair, he tries his best to make up for it. That is a lot more than his shitty family does. The only decent ones seem to be death and delirium, but even they are just passive.
