The presentation of these gods, cosmic entities, and conceptual personifications continues to severely disappoint. I'm finding it really really hard to suspend my disbelief that these characters are supposed to have any kind of significant power when they all come off as so regular. They lack presence, they lack effect, and even the costume design is so... mundane. Not a single one of these characters (since the shows inception) have felt powerful, or have conveyed any sense of magnitude. For all the amazing visual effects on display nothing has convinced me I'm watching anything but humans. I'm not even asking for action per se, just some visual reinforcement depicting the scale these entities are supposed to be operating at. It's just slow dialogue, and circus outfits.

I understand it's been 10,000 years for her but I would still bet she would prefer to be freed. He is not assuming (at least I don't think so) that she will forgive him or anything. I believe he just feels this is the least he can do for her. I liked that he cares enough about his sister (Death) opinion of him that he took her words to heart and decided to take action.

yup, the wings were already off at the start of the Lucifer Show, it just wasn't revealed until a few episodes in in his bar...and then went ahead some episodes after that

sandman is part of the dc universe and a lot of dc easter eggs were dropped. those werent clowns but representation of chaos aka lords of chaos bka klarion the witch boy from young justice. the dudes with the box? the lords of order aka dr. fate! in ep one there was hippolyta, mother of the dream baby. she is the daughter of wonder woman and named after her grandmother. they are doing as much as they can without dc's ok lol

never seen oberon's name written with an Au before............ hope they pop up this season. the faeries had their own series in the sandman universe and are tied to a big character (tim hunter). would love to see more of the magical realms and creatures and that seems to be what we are getting. first season was the human realm, to suck in the normies, now we are going full out fantasy!!!!!!!!!!! love it!
