Even if she didn’t I’d say there’s like a 90% chance he will automatically assume they had something to do with this because damn near every time something goes wrong to him they are or he seems to believe Desire involved (considering what we have seen is Desire has been roped up in him being trapped on Earth by the Burguess family & his perception of the end of his relationship with Nada before he condemns her) The real problem (at least in my eyes) is Morpheus thinks he’s above feeling ‘desire’ for anything because he is Dream of the Endless. He doesn’t seem to intake anything of what his siblings are outside of Death and even then he knows / assumes that if or when he dies the essence of him will pass down to Hippolyta’s son because he is something born of the Dreaming itself. But if it’s anything Morpheus absolutely feels deep within it is desire and he doesn’t know how to reckon with it within himself and just kind of takes it out on how he speaks to / treats Desire, which isn’t helped because Desire also acts like an asshole on top of that

Kinda fucked up but I see similarities between how Dream was moving with regard to Nada and my own actions in the past. He thinks he loves this woman but really it’s infatuation/limerence/desire. He then acts out in harmful ways (like ghosting her) and yet still expects her to just fall head over heels for him because he made a half-assed forced apology and said “But I love you tho”. Someone get this man into DBT therapy, STAT lmaoo

They've mentioned it before so just reminding you. But she chose to be with him even if she knew that a mortal being with an endless has consequences and her entire people died from a meteor because of it. She felt guilty and killed herself for it, which made him mad, but then he went in the afterlife and asked her to be with him and she said no bc she felt they shouldn't be together anymore and he got mad and sentenced her to Hell for not choosing to be with him.

Some changes from the book that i wish they had kept here. Dream wasn’t the one who decided to give it to the angels. God ordered Dream to give it to them. And Ramiel objected saying that he would rebel against God. But Duma, the silent one accepted the key from Dream. Nada didn’t just walk back into the earth. She got reincarnated into a baby boy. Nuala actually did a glow down. I mean here in the show she was still very pretty.

the long man of wilmington (the hill portal dude) is an actual thing, similar to the Nazca lines of Peru. There are many of these types of figures in England (and all over the globe, I imagine). I'm not super familiar with its current accepted history, but I know that one theory proposed it was a god holding the pillars of a gate that would open only on Midsummer, as the sun rose above the hill. Fun fact, he looks a bit wonky if you look at him head-on, but looking up at him from the bottom of the hill, he's actually proportional :) From what I know, all the strange godly and supernatural beings in the show are (at least loosely) derived from actual mythology and folklore. It's interesting to look into them, cuz you can learn so much about other cultures. I love mythology, thank you for letting me geek out ps also, girl, that IS Joffrey ;)

I assume Dream's form changes into what people want, so to Nada he looks like a handsome young black dude instead of the skinny edgelord he is. And I kind of like these immortal beings having different physical aspects. But I wish the black actor would play out their scenes - dude didn't even get a single line, so we know he made no money off this role
