Jason Marbach

Man if I’m Betty, I’m planting the snack club guy in the ground TODAY

Invader Rin

Just another reminder that Predator Badlands is out and hope you guys get around to watching it.

Jamaal Ellison

How many seasons do you see this show going?

Jamaal Ellison

5 is a very decent run this show seems to do a really good job of managing it's VFX'S budget. They also seem to do a pretty good job of managing the action across the season. Like something happens every episode, it's pretty astounding, and I wish other networks brands, whatever the fuck would take notice. I'm looking at you, Disney plus every one of their shows looks like they pocketed most of the budget like Percy Jackson.

WackoB

Seeing The King all ghoulified and being gunned down like that hurt my soul. The writers of this show did that character so dirty 😭

Dio_j

Bruh I almost spat my drink out when lupa said plastic spoon

Xemnas27

Bro the cheeks…

Xemnas27

I know Lucy wanted to say “Fuck” so bad at the end there 🤣

WackoB

also deathclaws are mutated jackson chameleons with other animal DNA in there too. Cooked up by the US government before the bombs dropped, to be sent out to battles instead of human soliders

Lamaree Jackson

Even more Avatar vibes this episode. Main characters cause mass destruction and just leaving lmao

Lamaree Jackson

Too bad they don’t got any laser weapons. They cheese deathclaws

Shane

You guys are actually right about the Deathclaw looking like it's from elsewhere! It was originally an unused Dungeons and Dragons asset that the original Fallout team borrowed for their game.

Shane

Yeah, I was a big fan of The Kings. Sucks that every faction is a shadow of its former self now.

Zack

Buffout is a brand of highly advanced steroids that increase strength, reflexes, and endurance

NovaVortex

That Diablo creature is called a "Deathclaw" They are one of the scariest things to encounter in Fallout. When they say you never forget your first... I remember shittin' bricks (proverbially) the first time I encountered one in fallout 3 😂.

HeyItsViktor

I'm surprised lupa didn't recognize the deathclaw

WackoB

all of New vegas' factions are in the gutter while Arthur Maxson and his crew from Fallout 4 still thriving. Bethesda playing favorites lol

DomThaPotato

He stated, he only played some of three and some of four, so he may have never even gotten to the part where you encounter a deathclaw well, its completely possible that he just skipped concord.

PJ Rivera

Nice to see the T-45 in action and to see the mascot of the series the Deathclaw. Hopefully we see Cazadors and super mutants next

pBnj

one thing was missed... the flashback, it was "pre-war"... before the nuclear war, the bombs...the radiation... that thing didnt mutate... it came from somewhere or somebody else

eric

didn’t even realize that was him. crazy how much this season is paying homage to new vegas 😭

fishNlemon

ok so those big z-ass mf are deathclaws ,basically prewar bio weapon , fast strong smart as hell ,and almost totaly bullet proof

Heystax

That shit looks like a demon from doom 😭

christian

fallout is too goated man

Lamaree Jackson

Also buffout increases your strength and endurance, and your perception. More perception in the game gives your more “VATS time” which basically makes the game super slow mo and you can aim for specific critical points on enemies. Which is why Lucy seemed hyper focused on kill shots on the Elvis crew. Hopefully the fear doesn’t overpower it so she can clap that deathclaw

Deressed

Man seeing deathclaws in a show after how they are in Fallout New Vegas is great.

WackoB

it's crazy how good the T-45b looks in the show. Costumer designers went crazy

hanzorefrost

Very random but maximus looks like tpindell🤣

Shaquille_Oatmeal

Damn, the way they recreated that whole New Vegas is crazy. They even included The Kings lol. Welp, time to play it again. Oh and Deathclaws are a pain in the ass in the games. When Roshi said that they look out of place....well, keep that thought lol.

I VisiBomb I

in an alternate universe: maximus - gets a 100 in his math test quintus: "oh thats my boy! you got my genes for sure!" also maximus - forgets to thaw the chicken quintus: "just like your mother, you're a complete disappointment"

Sam

guys lucy has said okey dokey like 18 times throughout the show it's like her catchphrase , I don't know how it connects to the games but yeah

Adrian Locke

Deathclaw 6 minutes in is CRAZY. Them mfs got the same motion in Fallout that bloaters have in TLOU for people who may not know

Adrian Locke

Tweaker Lucy is insane work 😭

Xemnas27

Quintus almost had a stroke and stumbled straight for the blicky after Maximus said he saved little ghoul kids bro 😭😭💀

Idk

Clocked that buffout shit right, it is like a crazy steroid that buffs you in the game

Pop n Lock

The NCR woman is like they ripped an NPC straight out of the game fr

Dominic

Vault dweller 31 kinda bad 👀👀

SavvyAlloy

I have Fallout 3 and only played about 2 maybe 3 hours of it. I didnt know Deathclaws were in it. I've only encountered Radroaches and a few other mutated creatures.

NovaVortex

They are encountered later in the game since I recall only encountering it a few times. It would suck to encounter them within the first 5 hours or so. Unlike fallout new Vegas... 😭 I wandered into "the quarry" and immediately regretted it 🤣🤌 Edit: I think it was the quarry anyway. This is some dated ahh info I'm trying to recall btw 😆 My memory these days ages like milk sometimes 😭

LeFlaneur

I did not expect the Brotherhood part to escalate like this.

Panda

Fun fact. death claws are mutated horned lizards(the specific kind might be spoilers or they might expand so i don't want to drop more). But, fucking, lizards lmao.

Derpin

The creature at the beginning and end is called a deathclaw. Deathclaws were not caused by nuclear fallout but were bio weapons created by the US government to be super soldiers. The first time they ever used a deathclaw for war was actually that conflict you guys saw at the start. After the bombs dropped they escaped containment.

Eric

I’m convinced 60% of the time Lupa is sleeping with his eyes open 😂

Grimm

Please react to Predator Badlands

RnicJaay

Buffout Lucy is dope. Sucks the strip is deserted now

Dark Danny

Lucy remembered she was Jinx in another life

Oggle

Jinx in fallout?

IAmRolfie

I think people forget Lucy scored high in marksmanship in the vault, shes just normally too nice to gat people.

Clinton the Bingethinker

17:18 that’s exactly what Buffout is, but it’s not just a Strength boost, it boosts Endurance and HP too. Only got addicted to it once, during my first playthrough of Fallout 3.

Mario Carranza

I'm still trying to figure out what events of fallout new Vegas are canon to this show since they don't have the balls to say the best game in the franchise is not canon.

Friendly Elites

most of the game is canon the outcomes were just pretty much all gonna end the same is what this is saying, but the biggest likelihood is it's either Yes Man or NCR endings the only thing thats a certainty is the Mojave BOS chapter was definitely finished off

CK12341

ok but Lucy getting addicted to buffout is hilarious

Friendly Elites

oh thats my favorite side character in new vegas getting his brains blasted out right in front of me RIP to the King he was a real one till the end

crosshairs shawty

Yeah that big lizard thing is a deathclaw. In lore, the US government has been experiencing with them and utilizing them as weapons before the apocalypse. I’m pretty sure that is the first time and confirmation we ever saw a deathclaw in a prewar setting.

Polo

Damn they did the Kings dirty. One of the few factions in New Vegas who were good people. It's sad to see them like that

Delinda Arts

I fw sherm Lucy. She just let it ring off.

Kugenaru Kira

Yeah I was trying to remember if he had seen one or not but I can’t think of a time until now where there’d even have been a real opportunity TO see one in this setting.

Friendly Elites

so im pretty convinced Vault Tec didnt drop the first bombs because if America was dropping in Deathclaws on their own turf in the war then China absolutely razed the fuck out of them and thats before you even get into the FEV stuff edit: i rewatched the episode and holy fuck Ronnie mentioned "Future Enterprise Ventures" as phase 2 for vault 32 and 33 and Norm's group is still in the Boneyards i think they're gonna go to the Cathedral

Friendly Elites

Surprisingly almost all the monsters and abominations in the games were caused by FEV and pre-war experiments and not radiation mutation. It's basically just the giant insects, radscorpions, geckos, and ghouls. Almost everything else was the Enclave, Vault-tec, and Big MT fucking around and making the entire continent find out for the next 200 years.

Gilthwixt

RIP. Here's hoping it's one of the endings where Veronica left BoS instead of sticking it out with them.

Kugenaru Kira

Imagine if they have a cazador or a nightstalker in this season at some point

2026-10-05 14:00 why did lupa act like he knew fallout fr during the season 1 reactions when he doesnt even know what a deathclaw is
2026-01-08 07:00

Friendly Elites

The original writers for fallout 1 intended the implication to be that China launched the first bombs directly as a result of Americas bio-experiments, then Enclave and Vault-tec stuff keeps getting thrown around after so we still can't quite tell what the truth is. Until we see Cooper's interactions with House it's just too hard to tell.

John sekiro

Maybe he just wondered around the map for an hour

The Zany Spirit

Nah, I believe Lupa put a solid 200+ hrs into Fallout. He was just... firmly distracted by all the mods installed >:)

Jesse B

Quintus a racist 😂😂

A. P.

Damn, Kaiju no 20 pulled up

DJ Muldrow

Dawg ngl im putting bro on fraud watch 😭 a deathclaw is surface level knowledge of fallout

sol jam

In the fallout lore the U.S annexed Canada and I think all the rest of north America

MaxedOut01

The Deathclaws in America are descendent from ones that escaped research facilities after the bombs dropped. And the US was in the middle of invading mainland China as well. While there's no canon explanation on who dropped the bombs first (it doesn't really matter for the games) Tim Cain the CO creater and designer of the original fallout game said in a interview that China launched nukes first after the US refused to stop using and testing FEV. But after the person doing the interview told him that there wasn't a official canon reason, he said to disregard what he said.

MaxedOut01

I don't think they'll give a canon answer, the ambiguity serves the series well. In the grand scheme of things it doesn't matter who launched first, but I like Tim Cain's reasoning as you mentioned, it makes the most logical sense.

Adam Lawson

Am I the only one that finds it strange that Hank seemed to reach new vegas that quickly in a giant suit of armour. Despite the fact he only left shortly before them at the end of season 1. Whereas it seems like a long and tedious journey for Lucy and the Ghoul

MaxedOut01

The writers said that they weren't going to make any ending for New Vegas canon. So it will probably be left very ambiguous, and the best way to do that is for everyone to be dead. But according to different people in the game, like Ulysses, New Vegas was eventually going to be destroyed.

MaxedOut01

All mutants are a result of FEV in some way, either created before the war or from mixing FEV that was released into the atmosphere after the bombs droppd with radiation.

MaxedOut01

Oh yeah it was definitely the quarry.

Lamarr Clarke

It’s Crazy When I Played Fallout 3 And I Wanted To Be A Brotherhood Of Steel .. Now Not So Much 😂

Matt

Ya’ll thinking Deathclaws are mutated rams is killing me lol. They’re genetically engineered from Jackson Chameleons, they were dropped in Pre-war battlefields as essentially super soldiers.

Arturo

I need to play New Vegas. There's so many references I'm sure I'm missing 😩

Matt

Yeah that was a bit upsetting 😭

Kd

Nigga Lupa said plastic spoon😭

Matt

Yeah nah Lupa on fraud watch for not knowing Deathclaws 😭

ImJuels

Power suits be moving

YaBoyShawn

In Fallout 4, Buffout is a brand of highly advanced steroids that increase strength, reflexes, and endurance. So Roshi’s guess was spot on.

Alex

Damn a deathclaw.. I remember you have used everything you have

Xemnas27

Nah fr. I seriously thought Lupa would recognize em 🤣

Cam

Whole inventory depleted fighting them bitches.

Friendly Elites

it is funny at least seeing the different types of reactions people are having to the scene depending on if they played the game or not like half of us are choked up and crying and half of us are cheering for watching Lucy being ruthless

Alex

Yup lol

Jojo_avena

Just encountered a Deathclaw on my first run in Fallout 4 last week. They are ridiculously strong, but awesome they threw that in the show!

kai. 🩶

ah yes the rusted steel has returned

OMegaWattz

Understand that Deathclaws are the alpha predators of Fallout. Very smart, very fast, are incredibly strong with thick armored skin and some even have the means of invisibility. Short of multiple people in Power Armor armed with some heavy ordinance, taking even one Deathclaw on is usually a death sentence for most. And worst, the design of the one at the end kinda looks like the design of the matrioc Deathclaws, so thats mama and I bet she needs some food, and even the Ghoul looking pretty tasty

Radoras

I'd guess it's a mix of him knowing the way (seems like he had dealings with Mr. House before, since he called him and all that), maybe getting more data/being familiar with the territory, having management tunnels, access codes for the gates and everything & maybe a bit of plot convenience - sure, he probably had some roadblocks to deal with, but it would not move the story forward, so they skipped it until he came to the facility & started up the experiments again

Oliver

31:43 OMFG get out of my head Roshi that is literally what i thought he was gonna do XD Finally we see the Deathclaws. Not gonna lie tho nothing gets the heart pumping like running from a Deathclaw in Fallout 3 or NV Great reaction you guys

ChrisM

18:57. Who dat

Diablos Cafe

Definitely 😂 they’re the only famous creatures from fallout

Offw0rlder

Keep the Dad Jokes coming Roshi lmfao

Offw0rlder

Ah, men of culture. We meet again

Offw0rlder

I’m ngl, them vault suits fit kinda nice I gotta buy one for shawty 😋

Raider

ending hilarious

Senjioh

Deathclaws are bioengineered weapons they were actually made before the bombs fell and yes they can be very intelligent

The Lonely One

In the Fallout universe, Buffout is an advanced steroid known for boosting strength and endurance, primarily used by athletes before the Great War to enhance performance without excessive training. **Gameplay Effects** When used in the games, Buffout offers temporary boosts like: - **Stats**: Increases Strength and Endurance by +2, enhancing melee damage and carry weight. - **Health**: Temporarily boosts maximum Hit Points by 50 to 60. - **Addiction**: Highly addictive with a 10% to 25% addiction rate, causing penalties to boosted stats during withdrawal. **Variants and Lore** Buffout inspired several hybrids in later games like Fallout 4, including: - **Buffjet**: Mixed with Jet to slow down time while enhancing strength. - **Bufftats**: Combined with Mentats for boosts in both physical prowess and intelligence. - **Psychobuff**: A military blend with Psycho, improving damage resistance and output. In the Fallout TV series, Buffout features in season two, where Lucy uses it intravenously and in pill form, gaining faster reaction times and reduced inhibitions.

Mxri

Remembering why I didn't like Max.

Mxri

30:24 Otto Hightower? I thought the same thing when I realized how much I hated him.

GabSte1989

Did you play 76? Funny that they ended up doing a mutated ram that used a Death claw framework. Damn almost 10 years old at this point. Been longer compared to the time frame between Fallout 2 and 3, not counting Tactics or BoS
