I feel like this series got the short end of the stick for the Mappa shows. I loved S1 a ton but it didn’t get the production if JJK or CSM and it’s been 3 full years since S1😭.

mappa are popping tf off trust. fun fact, naoya's (jjk) technique is animated in a newer gen frame style than naobito's one which is animated in an old gen frame style. because naoya is the new gen zenin leader, and naobito is the old gen leader. mappa needs to get the props for CARING about their shows

Bones has like 6 studios tho confirmed. Bones Film did Gachi well i think its Bones C works on MHA. They have like Bones Film, Bones Team A, Bones Team B, Bones Team C. Fims and one of the OTHER teams do Gachi well MHA is done by team C im 85% sure. Being as big as Mappa is I bet they have teams like this set up that they dont distinguish is different from the other. Bones Studio will have one tag and Bones for A-C teams will have the other. Bones Film is the group that do like the MHA films and the other films hence the name.

Yeah that was the big issue with jjk and csm was that they used to be on the same production line which caused issues with production but they aren't anymore. I'm pretty sure hells paradise has always been on a different production line than jjk and csm though.

The director and animators are just doing a really good job. This episode honestly didn't look that crazy especially for an episode 1 of a season but it still looked good. It's crazy what some better art direction can do for a show.

I'm so glad they did a recap. They'd probably be so lost on this show with it's weird ass power system and crazy characters. I recapped by watching their reaction cuz I knew I'd be pretty lost on what was happening.

Oh, do you remember in S1 E1 at 5:48 when the moth got burned by the candle? That happened just before Sagiri discussed the pardon deal with Gabimaru, and now it happened again just before they discuss sending more Asaemon back to the island. It's probably a metaphor for people being attracted to the island by the prospect of an elixir of immortality, like a moth to a flame. Btw, of course I know they aren't going to remember the exact time a moth got burnt lol. I'm making a joke because of what Roshi said.
